The Nuggets had CRUSHING losses before they were champions – Bob Myers | NBA Countdown

and it’s brought to you by chime Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves to a 45o victory in game six over the Nuggets he scored a team High 27 in the game and was asked yesterday about how he’s feeling ahead of today’s game seven remember his first ever in Denver I think we’re confident just because we’re a great team and we’re going against another great team and we feel like we just the better team and that’s all the confidence that we need um the two previous games don’t mean anything cuz they beat us on our own court so I mean that don’t mean anything is right now just about who going to play better tomorrow okay so they feel like they’re the better team but will they be the better team today Mr wil it’s going to be awfully hard I I don’t think I see that I there’s a people become Champions and they forget the road that it took for them to get there Denver had crushing losses you were there for some of those back in the bubble so people act like yis just showed up fully formed no h Jamal Murray the injuries he had the rehab he had to come back through the losses they they got beat by the Suns in 2021 badly jic I think got thrown out of that game they have you know I believe in anguish you know this we talk about this all the time you have to have it Minnesota haven’t had that yet Denver’s had it conquered it become Champions and I just don’t see them Malik are ready to give that up yet it’s interesting watching Anthony I love watching Anthony Edwards interviewed I I really like it you know why he’s confident but he’s not arrogant yes it’s authentic it’s authentic and you know we we sometimes mistake those two things somebody say oh he’s arrogant he thinks they’re going to win no he’s just confident he’s confident in their team but you know who else is confident is the Denver Nuggets I mean they have won a championship they’re at home I was at a game late in the season calling a game with Denver and Minnesota and thought maybe there’s going to be a game seven between these two teams cuz that’s what was on the line a late game in Denver I said you want to have that game seven at home you know why wilbon I know you’ve been to all these game sevens there’s 150 of them you’ve been to a third 50 of them because the home team wins 75% of the time that’s a lot so so you add that it’s a lot it’s a lot and you two of them today you add that to the fabric and the mentality of a former Champion the defending Champion Denver Nuggets so I don’t say it’s a knock on Anthony Edwards or this Timberwolves team I they’re fantastic it’s just Denver’s that good well and Nica yic was on the sidelines for the final nine minutes and 52 seconds of that game six and he was just staring stewing and you you don’t see that all the time from the three time MVP but when you do it should give you a feeling inside like this guy is focused and [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] is

  1. They make it seem like Denver can be the only champions. As if no one else has the ability to become champions. Why is it so unrealistic for another team to beat the defending champs.

  2. Jokic finna go stupid💯, he laughing and joking bout the game after, he definitely fired up, it's over, and Edwards talks too much

  3. It’s funny how they talk about how jokic stood up the 4th quarter but didn’t bring up how he walked off the floor before the game was over … wolves for the win …

  4. ESPN would gladly support MIN 100%… They dont want any Euro players being the face of NBA plus they dont know whom to support when its DAL vs DEN in WCF, as DAL have a Euro player and of course Kai which media hated so much, and on DEN, they will not admit that a non athletic Euro player is defeating those athletic american players 😂😂😂

  5. We all see that Jokić is playing on his own against one of the strongest teams in the league, and we still listen to the idiots who dispute his MVP title! There is no player in Denver who does not depend on Jokić. He will do his job very well today, but he cannot influence the misses from the open shots of his teammates. The only thing is that the whole match goes into transition, shoots and hits. Something tells me that Jokić will play a match to remember today! After all, he is a Serb, and anyone who knows them knows what kind of mentality it is!
