Scouts Disagree With Wemby On Zaccharie Risacher
all right so our boy R Shay uh wiim banama has something to say about Ray and we’re going to go over that okay we’re going to go over that I want some NY are we having fun yet all right so a lot of Spurs fans have talked about Reay and I think that most of us have kind of put it in the back of our minds because I’ve seen a lot more people be hire on buellis and Ron Holland and obviously everyone’s talking about Dilly so not many fans have brought him up but hey uh his name is back in the headlines so our boy wimy had something to say about him I’ll give you my overall thoughts um I this will be like 10 seconds okay I think that he’s a really good player but it’s going to take a lot of time for his offensive ability to really shine and I think he’s going to have to add to his skill set cuz as of right now I think he’s kind of spotty when he has the ball in his hands um he can kind of force it uh I I I don’t think that his shot selection is great uh he’s a little streaky and then I think he’s undisciplined defensively at times but I do think that he has the physicality and um all the natural abilities to eventually be a really good player I just don’t know if I would take him fourth or eighth I I I I don’t think so especially when other guys are available like Dilly buellis and Holland but with that being said this is what Scouts have said about ret he’s shooting the ball but he can’t put the ball on the floor he can’t you can’t take a wing that high that cannot pull or cannot put the ball on the floor or create you can find a good three and D Wing in the 20 so right now that’s kind of how they’re viewing them at least that’s the consensus um around the the league as of uh right now uh but with that being said this is what Victor wanyama had to say okay so it says before wanyama joined metropolitans 92 uh he played for another French league team asvel I don’t think you said that any other way um tell me if I’m wrong when wiim mayama was there Ray uh was getting started with the team’s youth program so he says I got to spend a little bit of time with him and we were both really young at the time but back then even sometimes he practiced with us and he was just doing some crazy things in terms of talent uh he’s definitely up there in the tra draft class I probably don’t know anybody more talented than him in this draft class um pretty high praises there and then he says and he’s just all around uh he can do pretty much everything he’s very long he can block a lot of shots and offensively he can just let him or offensively he can just let him do his thing I I suppose that Ray can let himself do his own thing I have no idea what I don’t know uh he’s had the chance to have a professional start like very few do I mean in Europe very few players can go from the youth program to the professional and he’s one of them and he’s actually dominating this year he was an All-Star in France so yeah I mean it’s all going well so far I’m proud of what he’s doing so wimy was just praising him right um nothing really here I don’t know if I would go as far as say more talented but like I said he’s one of those guys that um he’s he’s a project and I think after a period of time he can be pretty dog on good but I’m sorry man if if you if you have a opportunity to go after buellis or Ron Holland unless there’s some stuff behind the scenes I there’s no reason in my mind mind that I would go after Reay that that’s just not something I would do um but you guys let me know what you think okay those are just my thoughts um right now though as far as what we what we’re hearing is uh Scouts are not not vibing uh with them right now they’re they’re saying we can get that later um but we’ll see we’ll see we’ll see you guys just let me know what you think just wanted to bring that to your attention when Victor wama has something to say uh sometimes sometimes it’s good to listen All right but anyways give with you guys later maybe he’s maybe he should be maybe he should go with to his purse but I don’t think so anyways uh bye guys bye bye bye bye [Music]

Matas Buzelis isn’t that good, his stroke looks goofy and he had poor shooting percentage from 3 with lots of volume. I think with Holland you at least get a good defender, Dalton Knecht is another solid wing with a solid offensive game. I would think with the 4th pick you would lock up your guard instead of gambling and waiting to see if they’re available with the 8th pick but it depends on what Houston gets. If they take Dillingham at 3 we probably go wing first and get someone like Reed Shepherd in that 8th spot but I have a feeling he’s going higher than that because he’s the best shooter in this class
Zaccharie Risacher
1)cannot dribble the ball which is a big red flag
2)his defense and 3 point shoot is not consistent
Matas Buzelis, or cody Williams 100%
Mantas and Holland have Low Floor but High Cealing,. Risacher has a High Floor and Low Cealing – Pikc your poison………..
Buzelis and Holland were the final straw for the NBA to shut down Ignite. They both took a huge step back in their production and development. Stay away from those two

Every single player at the top of this draft board has holes in their games.
So it comes down to what are their baseline skills that the spurs like and do the spurs feel they can develop the rest.
None of these players is ready to go out of the box on day 1. They all are projects to some extent.
I want good defensive players, 2way players, players that have some offensive skillset that spurs can work with to develop.
For me its castle at 4 with Shepard 2nd at the guard position then Topic.
At 8 I see saluan. At SF position risacher is good defensively with Holland nice third option. Neither has great offensive game.
Risacher is good. Tidjane Salaun is good. Ware is a must draft at 8.
Buzelis and Holland aren't very good shooters from the perimeter. Honestly, I don't know what your fascination is with Buzelis. Please do a review on Kel'el Ware as the 8th pick.
We need :
– positions 1 & 3 + versatile
– good defender (both)
– at least 1 can shoot
– can play in system, no ball dominance
Plan A – bigger size
(4th) Risacher (8th) Castle
Plan B – smaller size
(4th) Sheppard (8th) Holland
Wemby’s spot on Risacher could be special. I want Risacher with the 4th but if he’s gone then Matas Buzelis. As Far as the 8th pick Castle, Cody Williams or Tidjane Salaun do to how relationship with Wemby.

This is why you should never use the "we should build through the draft" because 85% of the guys you draft are either busts or arent good for the team they play for now enter free agency and the trades youll have more guarantees with seasoned vets and potential secondary stars
I believe that 5, 6, and 7 all have PGs for their future so I feel it’s safe to take the top 3&D player at 4 and the same guards will be there at 8. I would love for Dilly to fall to us either way though.
Maybe Wemby sees something we dont in Risacher. Time will tell. Im just glad we have 2 picks in first round in case on is a bust.

should get castle he is guaranteed upgrade in defense compared to our upgrades in PG and 3s which are more of a chance or longer development
Yeah, I am not interested in Risacher as well with how limited his self-creation is, lack of ball-handling, and physicality. I prefer Cody Williams and Castle
Who’s the best at breaking down defenses? Pop loves an aggressive ball handler that can create a ball movement offense.
