FG) and Nikola Jokic (34 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists) combined for 69 for the Nuggets in the losing effort.

Minnesota’s 20 point comeback was the largest in a Game 7 in the play-by-play era (1997-98), passing
Cleveland Cavaliers, 18 points vs Magic (R1, 2024)

Minnesota reaches the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2004 when they faced the Lakers (2-4). This is the only other time Minnesota has made it to the Western Conference Finals

This is the 27th time that a team defeated the defending champions after losing to them the postseason prior. Most recently, the Warriors defeated the Cavaliers in the 2017 Finals (4-1) after losing to them in the 2016 NBA Finals (3-4).

Karl-Anthony Towns joins Kevin Garnett (2003-04) as the only Timberwolves to go total 200 points and 100 rebounds in a playoff run

  1. The recipe of a champ team…not relying only on one dude..it's a collective effort of every player that's the difference between these two teams …just like teams of the past..plus the heart to Win..I don't see that from Denver…the intangibles sometimes makes the difference.. Timberwolves,a great team as a whole

  2. Has coach Malone ever heard of something called a time out? In this stretch, he calls a time out after an ant dunk makes it a 4 point game, that seems a bit late.

  3. 11:05 they literally said they had a foul to give like a minute earlier. Refs giving every jokic flop call. Still lost. 😅😅

  4. This might be off-topic for this video but this game proved that Jokic gets the easiest whistles in the NBA. This man is allowed to elbow and push his way to the basket like no one else. Almost every play is an offensive foul and the refs don't care.

  5. Congratulations Wolves!! Anthony Edwards, KAT and Rudy Gobert were incredible tonight, amazing win. 👏👏👏👏🐺
