If we’re revising MVPs based on how far you make it in the playoffs, would you also say that Dirk didn’t deserve his only MVP?

No need to revisit the MVP. Jokic deserved it. On to the WCF!

Bro at this point I would like Finals MVP, forget that regular szn mid ass award – he played his butt off but these analysts are only moved by the hot new player and American blood at the end of the day.
Also, MVP looks fcking cursed right now.
Man, from now on I just want him to coast through the szn like Butler, just to come play good in the playoffs. In the regular szn, we should actually develop a good starting lineup of Lively-Hardy-Josh-Omax-and a 2 way player. Imagine this bench lineup able to score and actually contribute instead of currently sprinkling them in whenever needed would be insane.

Now he has too much help, like give me a break. He’s the only player on his team that made the all star game this year

Luka would have won it had we not looked fairly meh for a good part of the season, and then went on to have a horrible losing streak near the end of the season. It took him out of the running even for me. just because Denver didn’t beat MN doesn’t mean Ant or Luka are the MVPs, its a regular season award.

As someone who has followed JJ Redick’s podcast from the very beginning, I’m floored that he’s now being mentioned with the likes of ESPN, TNT, B/R and the Ringer. He’s gone a long way!!
But also he’s always been a huge fan of Doncic. I think Doncic has been a guest twice already.

Reddick voted for Luka for MVP, come on now OP

Luka should have won it. What these playoffs showed is 1. that he’s a better defender than either Jokic or SGA. 2. the so called efficiency is overhyped.

Meanwhile the two other ‘mvps’ were seed 1 and 3

The reasons for giving the MVP award shifts every year based on who they want it to win. It feels like he won’t ever get it for one reason or another. Even if they’ll say “Hey he had the best season ever in the history of the NBA we should give It to him!”. The answer comes “But he complains to the refs a lot!” Follows a silent nodding and the award goes to: “Doesn’t matter but not to him!”

Not true but it sure feels that way.
