Anthony Edwards Tells Chuck To “Bring Ya Ass!” To Minnesota | πŸ˜‚ NBA on TNT

[Music] biggest halftime comeback in game seven history wow as they come back from 15 down to the Minnesota Timberwolves and punch their ticket to the Western Conference Finals to take on the Dallas Mavericks what a night this was what a second half this was Vince yeah uh a trusting his guys slow start well not in Rhythm we saw a couple of shots where he hit the side back for airball but he continued to trust his guys to open the game up but in fourth quarter he was able to get loose get B get busy get in Rhythm and hit some big shots down the stretch this game was 58 to 38 early in the third quarter Kenny The Jet then what did you see from Minnesota you know you remember I I I have that phrase I said you have to be pulled through the hole sometime uh you say a lot of things but yeah I can I can recall that as a great player you could have off nights and it takes your teammates to pull you through the hole so then we could say oh a trust his teammates guys guys did different but his teammates I want to talk about it as we talked to the Ant-Man yeah ready for us Anthony Edwards standing by out there at ball Arena where Minnesota has taken game seven uh on the 20th anniversary of their last and only game seven win Ant-Man thanks a lot for taking a few minutes with us uh we appreciate it okay so look so you’re down 15 at the half you’re down 20 early in the Third how did you maintain some po boys uh be patient and make this happen uh it was tough man cuz I I I couldn’t find myself my rhythm tonight um so I just had to trust my teammates man they they kept trapping me even though I was off so I just had to make the right play throughout the rest of the game and and and I did that and my teammates made shots man so big big shout out to those guys and VC here congratulations to you let’s talk about the fourth quarter well throughout the three quarters you know they made it tough for you double team you you see like you said you trusted your team and you found life in the fourth where you saw a couple of baskets go go through you got the big steal to the dunk tell me about that um I mean you know there more ways to win a basketball game um when you’re just not when you’re just not an offensive player man I’m not I’m not onedimensional I’m not just a guy who can score I’m a guy who can go whoever they best guard is I can go lock him down so I feel like I did that on Jamal in the fourth quarter and that’s what in the third quarter and fourth quarter and that’s where it turned the game around well and uh CB man congratulations man uh it’s an honor to watch you play okay I have not been to Minnesota in probably 20 years bring G ass hey heying can you send me a list of good restaurants we’re going to be there for like five days I want you to send me a list of some good restaurants okay yeah yeah I’m I’mma find your number through somebody I’m going send them to you I appreciate it my brother congratulations I’ll see you Wednesday appreciate it baby well if you want his number it’s five five no what’s going on congratulations firstly what up baby uh I think overall the one thing you talk about patience you talked about all of the different things that your teammates did but at game seven on the Champs floor the feeling and the anxiety before after enduring can you explain that man it was a big time you know I think Our poise was the most thing we we was very poised throughout the entire game we was down 15 at the half we came in the locker room FY like hey Aunt you got to play quicker you got to play quicker if they going to continue to trap you got to make the right play and trust your teammates and we was just poised throughout the entire game they went up 20 we just fought fought and Cat played spectacular tonight man he he carried us tonight a uh if you were going to I know you you you referenced cat there but if you were going to hand out a game ball for this effort who would get Jaden McDaniels no question no question hey look um we appreciate you we’re happy for you we’re looking forward to getting to Minneapolis this week and uh watching the first two games of this series against the Dallas Mavericks early thoughts on playing the MS it’s going to be fun man you know um my my matchup going to be Kyrie so that’s going to be fun we’re going to see what what I can do vers him appreciate your time go dogs yes sir Minnesota wow pulls a stunter well you know my match up is Kyrie yeah that that that was the best thing in enview well I say this well that and Charles referring to himself as CB C he said BC I didn’t want to get us confused never I’ve never heard you refer to yourself as CWB CWB Charles W okay I want to say this man he uh I love I love that what did he say I thought your name was dumb Dum his back that’s what we talking about in back referring to him as dum dum so the thing I like about that interview he talked about cat he talked about Jaden he didn’t mention Nas Reed Rudy made some good got some off but Nas Reed to me was huge yeah but you know he he was but I like the way coach said man you got to play faster you got to trust guys you play faster because they were playing too slow but uh shout out to that young team uh you know I think his name connley Tim Conley uh the uh president president he’s done a fabulous job DPS is there but I’m really looking forward and Carl Lon towns you know I’m on his butt all the time cuz I want him to play like he did tonight all the time and he was the MVP for the Wolves tonight but I’m looking forward to it man I’m looking forward to going to M I haven’t been there in a 100 years since K I think since kg was there 100% And we we talked about remember I said Earnie about the whole I think at some point you know great players can have tough games but when your teammates bring you through the hole now we don’t remember it’s 6 for 24 we don’t remember that he did he struggled offensively we remember he was poised down the stretch and trusted his teammates so it shout out to Rudy shout out to cat shout out to Mike connley Nas Nas and the rest of the Minnesota pull for pulling that Superstar through the hole of Victory and you’ll also remember 60 to 37 in the second half they only scored 37 points in the second half Minnesota wow advance to the Western Conference Finals we’ll have the highlights of 1. This show is actually better than some games these guys are the definition of most see tv I never care for any pregame analysis only these guys I’ll be upset if they go off air

  2. Ernie you pundit when Ant said without hesitation his MVP you clowns were shocked and never said another word you clowns are so intent on making this about one man that you are hurting this game a lot more than helping it. With LeBron and Brunson out there are no teams left that depends on one man. Except for too much Luka this is a great team oriented final four.

  3. As a mavs fan I can't wait for this series of course I want my guys to win but I love ant man and if we lose I wouldn't be mad Let's Go Mavs

  4. He didn’t do anything special. He had only 16 points. The media want us to believe he had like 50 points or something. He’s one of the new narratives.

  5. Let's be real they all wanted to jump up and celebrate for Edwards when they're supposed to be Neutral. its not a big deal but shows how differently Doncic and Jokic get treated by the media compared to Shai and Edwards. Only exception is Tatum bcos he plays in Boston and it therefore hated by LA and NYK media.

  6. Why can’t we leave mj and his era in the past and can we place the upcoming stars in their own lane?

  7. Analyst: "Tatum 20/11/5 on 7/17 shooting winning by 25 gotta play better"

Same Analyst: "Ant 16/8/7 6/24 down 20 pts in game 7 HE TRUSTED HIS TEAMMATES"

  8. He locked him down by giving him a bunch of open shots that Jamal couldn’t hit because he was cold

  9. Ant Mans weakness is exposed.. There is no way he could fill in Jordan's shoes… He is just lucky that his guy help him rise from the grave.. Mc Daniels & Naz Ried is the factor not him.

  10. Kobe game 7 vs Celtics 2010 finals went 6/24 but had 15 rebounds and strapped up. Like Ant said, other ways to win and effect the game

  11. It's good to see more competition in the playoffs and not the warriors every year. Mavs and Wolves gonna be real.

  12. Why do all big brands take away what the fans want like is there something mentally wrong with? Out of all shows that can go why would you ever in your life think this would be a good show to take away take away ?!

  13. Ant is great great great player.
There is no limit , except his brain works in harmony with his body.
    Charisma is not everything.
    There are other qualities :
    Humility
    Patience
    Maturity
    I Hope he gets It.

  14. LeBron would have let his teammates did this interview if he had an off night. Its gonna be tension between Ant and Carl when contract talks come up

  15. Ant called out Kyrie and said he locked up Murray who still doing that?????πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ dawg
