when they met in the first round a year ago Denver was the number one seed knocked out number eight Minnesota in five this time around the nuggets are the two seed the Timberwolves three their regular season record just a game apart if you’re looking at one one thing in particular that might tell the Tale in this in this series what would it be well I think for me it’s how how can how can Denmark guard ant you know they’ve been on fire there in the first round I’m interested to see how they they guard joic this ain’t going to be a four game sweep it ain’t going to be a five game series you got to wonder if Minnesota’s bench going to come in and play in games five and six and that’s going to be interesting last year it was hard to beat them guys yeah it was hard to beat them um they was on a roll um and we had two players go down like right towards the end of the season so I mean we had we we we fooled now we got all our guys all everybody healthy so it should be fun man it’s still going to be hard to beat them they to defend the Champs they the best team in the fourth quarter down the stretch in the clutch you got clutch players so it’s going to be hard to beat with an eming young somebody like that alongside you yeah who’s able to lead even at a young age I got to I got to do what the I got to do to be a killer and still care for the guys around you and the team and your making us have the double tonight I mean they was playing straight up and they play a great defense with without fouling so they definitely helped us a lot you heard that yeah you heard that I got Anthony Edwards in the Minnesota timber was winning this series I mean I’ve seen enough this brother is some he is so Sensational it’s hard to put in the words Michael Jordan went to college for three years and then even then didn’t start doing any highlevel NBA winning for several seasons Kobe Bryant came straight from high school didn’t do any highlevel winning in the NBA Playoffs for a long time Anthony Edwards I’ll say it again is 22 2 years old and he is leading this young team do you see the similarity absolutely do and it’s a fair and it’s a reasonable conversation this isn’t hyperbole to say okay I can see where this could go let’s just not get too far ahead of ourselves I I didn’t get to play against Jordan until he was much deeper into his 20s if I had seen Michael Jordan at 22 years old you might say look at Anthony Edwards and how much more refined he is how much more polished he is at the same age that’s the point you were going to make let me tell you what different he is he’s different because he does all with a smile Jordan and Kobe did it with a scowl and not only that but he also was showing that he wants to have leadership with his team he kind of calls out it in quarter he got it and then the Timberwolves went on a 20 to nothing run and never looked back they ended up beating the defending Champions by 45 pointsa needs and now a steal this could be fun three you Edwards in the corner C Edwards oh what a move to they not doubling you on the post take your time don’t rush nothing through and finishes the 26-point lead a moment ago the largest of the double at Ant-Man Edwards it’s a three go let’s go to the fourth Minnesota closes the quarter get the rebound three Defenders KN away byon is there that pedal CH sh in corner Edwards and shoots time out that’s it the timber WS have knocked out the defending Champion Denver Nuggets that was a team effort I mean this is one of the best team when one of your best players struggling you talk about Jaden you talk about car you talk about Rudy Mike cley hit a couple timely threes Nas Reed was spectacular tonight was a total team effort you got to take your head off to those guys I mean you know there’s more ways to win a basketball game um when you’re just not when you’re just not an offensive player man I’m not I’m not onedimensional I’m not just a guy who can score I’m a guy who can go whoever they best guard is I can go lock him down so I feel like I did that on Jamal in the fourth quarter and that’s what in the third quarter and fourth quarter and that’s what turned the game around
