Tim Legler still believes 😌
Sitting here trying to decipher this @dallasmavs @Timberwolves series. This morning on @GetUpESPN I was asked who SHOULD be the favorite to win it all and I said Wolves. Bc they have earned the right to be viewed that way. BUT… I wasn’t asked who I BELIEVE wins this WCF SERIES.…

Had us in the first half, not gonna lie
Ride or die, buddy!! Let’s go, Legs!
Trying to gain our favor again I see.
I also think the Wolves are the favorite but that the Mavs will win.
LEGS BELIEVES SO HE SHOULD BE HERE 😭 Mavs in 6!!!
Legs has believed in us since the ASB. Glad to see that nothing has changed
Of all the national talking heads on major networks, is Legs the only one that legitimately talks about the Mavs? His criticisms are fair and he talks about how much the sports media (even himself) focuses on Luka and Kai, ignoring the Mavs defense. He then talks about how great Mavs defense has been since ASB.
I love Charles & Kenny, but they seem more interested in being on air personalities than actually watching and critiquing games. Kenny sometimes offers some good pointers, but those guys come off sounding like they all agreed on a narrative before the game started, and just go with that as “analysis.”
I don’t think the Mavs are above criticism, and there are some decent YouTubers that talk about Mavs in a fair way. But who among the big national shows actually watches Mavs games and talks about them in a productive way besides Legler? Genuinely curious.
Should’ve been Derek Harper/Tim Legler in NBA Jam instead of Mike Iuzzolino and we all know it.
It is so painfully obvious that Legler is probably one of the only people on national television that actually watches the games.
If we thought first team to 100 wins the okc/dallas game… then the first team to 80 might win these games.
Im expecting some ugly offense on both ends.
