One of the inspirations for the Gordon Gekko character, he amassed a huge fortune in the 1980s through illegal insider trading. Once the feds started closing in he cooperated with the SEC to provide information which led to the subsequent downfall of junk bond mogul Michael Milken and Wall Street firm Drexel Burnham Lambert. Who was Milken's protege and senior VP of high yield trading? Tony Ressler.
It's a fascinating history and provides interesting context into how Ressler thinks.

I read that book. As soon as I read Resslers bio and realized who he was, I knew we were screwed.
