Who are our top targets this offseason? | PHLY Sixers
well that’s what I the only reason you’re on this show is because I want to know what the ZB plan is for building out the Sixers from where they’re at right now yes who are you signing who are you trading for well so the first so I mean I I heard you guys talk last week about Donovan Mitchell and that would be my top Target is I look at at at Donovan Mitchell as from an age profile from a playing profile from the ability to play with the two stars you have here um that would make sense to me now if you can’t get get Mitchell I would be less enthused about trading your assets for a Jimmy Butler um for you know you I I do like Ingram I would be curious what the price is for Ingram I’m I’m generally not in favor of giving up the four first round picks and and four pick swaps or three first rounders three pick swaps unless a you’re confident that you’re resigning the player uh and that you feel that he’s he he’s making that material difference on on winning the title so short of short of getting Donan of getting Mitchell the move I would make then would be frankly uh to go after Paul George because you don’t have to give up the the uh pick assets uh as far as navigating the draft I’m I’m I’m curious to see you I’ve I know this this I I I kind of need to let this opinion ferment a bit but uh Zack Ed would be interesting to me just from having oh you and Vince are on Center but I would frankly want a more High upside player yeah right um when you’re talking about that that that 16th pick but I I think when the Sixers have have gone through so many different variations of of backup bigs I think what what this year uh showed is is is that you probably need some type of uh stability if if embiid goes down or I should say when embiid goes down right and so unfortunately yeah that’s the reality me like Zack Edy what what what he’s done over the past three years in college basketball he’s probably one of the best college he’s probably one of the best college players over the past two decades frankly now the NBA’s a different game but I would be in in intrigued there although I need to see the how the rest of the board would would fall um but overall it’s it’s it’s really what third star are you adding Donovan Mitchell would would be my plan a and then my plan B would be Paul jge you have no issues with the back court being small I don’t um just because of the scoring because of the scoring and because of the defensive versatility there um because you know I I I think that what you do need to do there is is is round out your bench a little more to have a ball stopper you know who who who can come in but I I just think I’ve seen Mitchell doing the now you you go back to the bubble with the way he played for Utah then before he went down this year he was averaging like like what he was doing in in Cleveland this year was outstanding I was talking to Kyle last last last last week I like Darius Garland but I would rather Mitchell as a fit for the Sixers than than Garland so Mitchell would would be my number one then Paul George would be my number two based on the fact that you don’t have to give up your assets for him okay all right interesting the Brandon Ingram one was interesting too yeah now these the the Pelicans team this this year uh he didn’t have the year I I I expected Zion took more of a leap this year but I would also look for you know I liked your your show last week about uh like the the Aaron Gordon change of scenery type um I’m curious like uh Josh G from uh uh up from the Thunder Had a Bad series Had a Bad series okay touching a nerd here touching a nerve here well Vince our cooworker Vince was trying to trade Joel embiid for Josh Kitty before the SE all right to be fair to Vince because I I don’t want to misure his opinion it was Josh giddy I think like Lou Dort and pix and I was like well congratulations you’ll win 29 games and have a bunch of picks you see what you don’t realize this is this is all like uh away for me to try to get a raise from Vince so I’m just bringing up like all the guys Vince wants and and then for the part yeah yeah Vince I agreed with you right um but no I I uh I’m not fully baked on the Josh giddy my guy says no Zack no yeah actually if uh if if John Gonzalez is is is watching right now Josh giddy hurt my fantasy team quite a bit this year so Bo yeah but there was there’s a lot going on with him this year beond and I think that’s where a lot of people like I don’t know about that and then he’s not boo in Philadelphia for those reasons I think more than the basketball reasons yeah his his his or I should say his his first two years he was a versatile he took a nose Di veral guard who could you know he he could play one through three one through four to a certain extent do a lot of things so but I I would look for that that Aaron Gordon type player the the change of scenery type if you don’t have the Mitchell uh Mitchell and George as the options [Music] [Applause] okay may

Spider? Giddy? Actually, I like Zach's basketball takes, it makes it clear why bro covers football.
