I keep seeing anti-Randle posts. Show this man some respect! When KD and Kyrie decided to join the Nets, Randle joined us and help change our culture.

  1. Dude is a straight baller. Can’t wait to see him come back – hopefully healthy this time.

  2. So many people are coming out of the woodwork saying they want to trade Randle.

Almost all the trades sound unrealistic involving him.

Randle is much more valuable to us than to anyone else, and we have no one who can play the 4 on our squad as well as him.

If Randle doesn’t sign here after we get embarrassed in free agency and doesn’t have that we here season. Idk if Brunson signs here. Because the season prior was the Randle turmoil season. Some people will never get over the thumbs down tho. Idk why

  4. when this team wins a championship i want him to be on it

  5. Any real fan knows Randle’s worth and his impact he’d have had in the playoffs this year if we had him. He was on his way to a career season. He’ll be part of our squad when we run it back

  6. _-_pandamonium_-_

You do know Randle was on the team a year before all that right?

  7. when randle went to the pelicans for a prove it year as a bench player, that was a major sacrifice he made because its hard to establish urself as a #1 guy after playing as a role player. but clearly our FO saw something more in him and look how far hes come. the national media may never give him due credit but we know how valuable he is to us.

  8. Anyone who thinks the Knicks are better without Randle didn’t pay attention to what the Knicks were doing before he got hurt.

  9. PineappleTraveler

He’s a top 5 PF in the league and in his prime. He’s had a couple of freak injuries but nothing that should affect his long term health. I can’t fathom the logic behind wanting to trade him.

  10. DogeGod_Ricky-C

    I haven’t seen one anti-Randle post yet..

  11. rmccarthy10

    Where you seeing anti-Randle posts?

I call bullshit and you just want a reason to make a pro-Randle post

  12. Buddhaballer

to the people who think we need to trade him. you all realized we lost because we didn’t have him

  13. It’s amazing how much shit people talk about a 2 time All NBA player that was on a good way to get his third.

  14. Grandmaster-1090

The randle hate is nasty man. A lot of Knicks fans are unappreciative and only focus on the negative.

  15. NewSlang212

We coast to the ECF with a healthy Randle. Any fan who wants to get rid of Randle is insane, imo.

How many other PF’s in the league can do what Randle does? Name me another PF in the NBA who can hold his own on the defensive end, rebound like he does, bang in the paint, score on all three levels, and distribute effectively. I’ll wait.

  16. Productpusher

You can respect and love him but put emotions to the side to see if there are better options . Especially when you see that 40-45 million a year potential price tag .

  17. fluffanuttatech

Anyone who wants to trade this man is not a real knicks fan idgaf. Started the culture change when no one else wanted to. He’s not perfect bur hes huge for us

  18. MagneticDivisions

I hope Randle and everyone else come back healthy for next season. This Knicks team has proven that it can take on some load management, and I know that we have the fire power to run it back next year! The league better watch out

  19. omicron_prime

Fair weather fans who follow big sports media headlines and narratives and get their pulse of the Knicks from the likes of Stephen A. are the ones clamoring for Randle to get shipped off. Those of us who actually know this team realize we need Julius out there for this team to operate at full throttle. I think the only big voice in media that has been saying anything about the Knicks next year is Michael Kay telling people this is the worst Knicks team we will see in years to come if we take injuries this year and potential moves Leon can make with all the draft capital he has stocked up. The league needs to remember what we saw in January this year from this team because that’s how we’re starting next year.

  20. Not to mention his career had a similar trajectory like with Brunson, Hart, Divo, Hartenstein, etc.

Randle was a failed lottery prospect for the Lakers, role player on the Pelicans, then became an all-star and won the MIP with the Knicks. He took a team of scrubs to our first playoff appearance in several years.

All our main guys were discarded by their prior teams and then found their home and realized their growth in NY. I want to see them all flourish and win a chip together. This is a far cry from yesteryear where we always went starfucking, trying to acquire a bonafide superstar via trade or FA and always whiffing, or ending up mortgaging our future for the likes of Marbury or Melo. Even Amare (who I respect for signing with us), still had his best All-Star years on the Suns. This method has NEVER proven successful in NY, and even our 90’s teams were built from grooming our own talent (or taking on reclamation projects like Sprewell).

Keep Randle, resign OG and Hartenstein, run it back fully healthy. And at most, with Bogdanovic’s contract + picks, we find that final complementary piece (bench scorer/creator). This doesn’t need to be a star like Booker. We find the right piece (imagine the likes of TJ McConnell on this Knicks squad) and we’re right there as title contenders.

  21. Onihczarc

We missed Randle so much this season. Especially the post season. He brings the mean. The Nova guys are, for lack of a better word, too “classy”. Randle and to a lesser extent Mitch definitely throw some elbows and get in people’s faces. Deuce can be that guy in the future, but having your 1a/1b player leading with that makes a big difference. Other teams would have to think twice about punking us if they have to deal with Randle muscling in the paint. Literal bull-in-chinashop.

Not to mention the automatic double-double and the maturity he showed in his game this past season before getting hurt.

I never say never, so if there’s a deal we can’t say no to ie Ant Doncic or Joker, it is what it is. but i don’t want talk about trading for soft guys like PG, Booker, KD, etc. yes those guys are without a doubt better than randle and anyone else on the roster, brunson included. but we got such a good chemistry right now, those softserves aren’t worth the risk messing things up.

  22. OhtaniMets99

He joined us just like amare joined us, because he wanted to get paid

  23. No_Swan8039

    Randle changed the culture. Period.

When he signed I was like yea he’s a good player. But the ballers he’s turned into under thibs is incredible. We wouldn’t be here without him.

  24. Funny how we all the trade “rumors” came out less than 24 hours after we got eliminated. Interesting timing.

  25. Fantastic-Ad7625

Love Julius. Hard worker, seems like a great teammate, and he changed the culture here. I was at the game vs the Heat when he got hurt, and we looked amazing. I don’t understand why people don’t like him. he’s the type of player we need here for multiple reasons.
First, I don’t think him or Brunson mind letting the other get shots/touches. I feel like that is rare in today’s NBA.
Second, effort/buy in. Sometimes he gets a little emotional and has some lapses but generally Julius always tries so hard, and is aggressive (at times to a fault). He knows Thibs and the system well, and it just seems like getting someone new you are taking a big risk of them not buying in and bringing that same level of aggressiveness.
Third, his skill set is a wonderful fit for the team. He can score at all 3 levels, he’s not terrible at defending multiple positions, he’s athletic, and he can get his own shot during hard drag it out games. Sure other players like KD might fit this third reason as well, but then the other two reasons still remain.
There were countless times during this playoff run where I said to myself “damn this would be a perfect time for Julius to go through someone’s chest and just play bully ball for a few possessions”
I can’t wait to see him back next season with hopefully OG and I-Hart back. People are going to change up real quick on what they think of Randle, just wait.

  26. TrenboloneTears

The problem with the internet is it allowed everyone to express their opinion.

No matter how stupid it is.

  27. KerryKl01

I want him back healthy next year. He’s the backbone of this team and deserves a deep playoff run.

  28. xMarioTheSupahx

Randle definitely improved being on the Knicks. I would like him back. Knicks don’t need to make much changes. Just some health and this team is deep and tough. Only trade maybe would be for Bridges other than that it’s been more positives than negatives

  29. jackfrancis7

He’s coming back. He’s honestly perfect for our roster as is still. We need iso scorers on offense and he’s as good as it gets outside of any top 10 guy we would need to move heaven and earth for.
