Latest Warriors Rumors: SIGN Isaiah Hartenstein After Knicks Loss? + Podziemski Earns NBA Honors

[Music] we’re talking about two hot topics today on Warriors today by chat sports I’m your host Ally Barefoot and first things first we got to give credit where credits do pron Brandon psky has earned honors in the NBA we’re going to break that down in just a second but on the back half of the show I want to talk about Isaiah hartenstein possibly signing with the Golden State Warriors after the Indiana Pacers knocked out the Nick in game seven of the second round and what the latest is about Isaiah hartstein possibly leaving the New York Knicks but like I said let’s talk about the rookie here just for a moment as he did earn 2023 24 NBA all rookie first team of course only two guards do make it to the all rookie team first and second Brandon psky sliding his way right there into first and tell you what BP he called This months ago he said he deserved this he wasn’t sure exactly the voting went or what they look at but he knew that what he did for the Warriors this season deemed him a spot on the first team along with some really highly awarded rookies here of course you got Chad holgren haime hakz Jr Brandon Miller and of course wimy who was the 2024 NBA Rookie of the Year so I want you guys to go on ahead and spam BP in the comment section spam number two spam something to give the rookie some love because I mean hey he called his own fate he said he wants to be on NBA first Team all rookie team that’s exactly what he did show the rookie some love because I think the Warriors back cour is in pretty good hands with Brandon psky I really loved what he did this last season for the Warriors and because he did receive 64 first team votes plus 33 second team votes so of course some NBA analysts out there did see him more of a second team fit he actually pushed out rookie Dereck Lively thei for the Dallas Mavericks by f for the first team by 52 votes so it was a landslide most NBA analysts did see psky being a first team honor and I do too because what he did for the Warriors is extremely hard coming in to play veteran ball for Steve cerr it’s especially hard to be somebody like Steph Curry’s right-hand man and even when you have somebody in there like a Chris Paul I love Brandon pinsky’s play it really showed me that hey this NBA is based out of young people now it’s not so much better in ball it’s really the young man’s game and his offensive rating 117.5 that was first on the Warriors that’s a hell of a stat for kid his first year out of Santa Clara plus minus he was plus 36 3.6 that’s first rebounds per game heuse second this is a guard we’re talking about his offensive rebounds were up there with Trace Jackson Davis and cavon Looney I never not saw Brandon psky crashing to the board on offense or a defense and I loved it and he was second and net rating for the Golden State Warriors with 5.9 this kid worked day in day out the number one thing I remember at BP is really stepping up when Draymond Green and Klay Thompson were ejected against the Timberwolves and I saw the Sparks of what Brandon psky had to give out had to show out against now the Western Conference Finals team the Minnesota Timberwolves I think Golden State Warriors are in really good hands with Brandon psky not only that but the young core the trace Jackson Davis the Jonathan kaminga the Moses Moody to have a first team all NBA rookie I mean he’s really giving me flashes that he could possibly be be the next face of the franchise when it comes to the backourt way after Steph Curry is gone if the Warriors do decide to keep him continue to grow with BP offer him extensions keep him there for the Long Haul cuz I think you got a steal with the number 19 draft pick in 2023 but I do want to talk about treace Jackson Davis just a little bit and his future with the Golden State Warriors coming up here in just a few moments because this will depend on whether or not the Golden State Warriors go out there in free agency or bu the trade and go on ahead and pick up a center to bring to the Golden State Warriors or if they’re going to trust the rookie to take over that big spot moving forward but first things first I want to tell you guys about our sponsor here on Warriors today and every day prize piix the number one daily fantasy sports app in America here’s why I play it every single game day I think this is just such a modern type of app in a modern type of way to put money down on games it’s so aesthetically easy it’s so fun to play takes me less than 60 seconds to make my picks every single game day this weekend all I did was watch NBA postseason and it was so much fun to have that happen and then just to be able to go and put my prize picks down so that I could just keep up to date with how the game’s doing I’m constantly checking the box scores constantly checking prize picks and they’ve already got their prize picks set for tomorrow’s matchup for the start of the Eastern Conference Finals I have Jason Tatum having more than 10 boards he’s already averaging a double double TJ McConnell to have more than 10 points here in tomorrow’s ball game and Tyrese halberton who was shooting lights out against the New York Nicks in game seven to have more than 19 and A2 points Life’s too short I take them more if you guys want to go ahead and pick more or less on a player’s projected stats go to prix.com clns use that promo code clns for a first time deposit match up to $100 pick more pick less it is truly that easy to watch yourself win some real money in real time let’s get back here to Kendra Andrews reported for the Warriors VI via ESPN talking about Trace Jackson Davis here of course she gave the news that Brandon psky was named to the all rookie team but then Senator Trace Jackson Davis missed the second team by one vote probably because his role in the team didn’t become prominent into the last stretch of the season that’s very true we didn’t really see Trace Jackson Davis a lot until the second half of the Season we saw more cavon Looney we saw Dario but then their playing time dips significantly primarily after the All-Star break which is where tjd really got to Showcase his talents and as you guys can see here this is the full list of the first team and the second team and don’t get me wrong all of these players absolutely deserved the Honors that they got do I think Trace Jackson Davis is another player that I’m glad he got his recognition just being one vote away from making second team here because you got to also look at what TJ did he’s 6′ n he’s stepping into a really big position here for the Warriors who have been lacking a big man for the last couple of seasons and he’s still put up about eight points per game five rebounds not bad at all one block a game and we saw that in real time it was beautiful the way that he can read the trajectory of the ball and the shots to really avoid goal tending but also to still get his aggression up there and block I think he has a big future in blocking big shots and shooting 70% from the field of course primarily making most of his shots around the rim I do think that Trace Jackson Davis really solidifies this lineup to move to move Draymond Green to that four spot and just focus on having a tall athletic big he’s got the wings span he’s got the height maybe a little more muscle here in the next coming years of course we’ve seen that from several players who get bulker get more bulk and they get stronger throughout their time in the NBA but I do think Trace Jackson Davis can be a reliable center for the Warriors right now but I’m not Mike D leevy I’m not Steve Kerr I want to hear what you guys think do you agree with me do you think TJ d could be next year starting center going ahead and type why for yes type in for no down below because you got to look at it here while treace Jackson Davis I think I am very surprised by his talent coming into the league as a rookie I think he’s only going to get better there are also several big men out there right now in NBA free agency and could possibly be on the trade chopping block number one target I’m looking at is Isaiah hartenstein why because they just lost the New York Knicks in the second round of the playoffs and they’ve already had rumors that they possibly can keep Isaiah hartstein who will now be entering free agency this off season you’ve got Mitchell Robinson unfortunately who’s been dealing with injuries but they do have a center hardenstein really stepped up here in the postseason for the Knicks because Mitchell Robinson had been out and he may be on the move just because they may not be able to afford him anymore the Knicks only signed him for two years and of course he’s played with several different teams here in the NBA we thought he found his home with the Clippers and then he went back to the east coast and didn’t really make a name for himself the New York lineup until Mitchell Robinson really started to show some injury signs that’s when hartenstein got to really show out here for the Knicks primarily on offensive rebounding which like I just said I love a guy that can get no board I’m all for it but he made a huge defense difference offensively and defensively for the Knicks in the postseason plus because he has full bird rights here New York can only offer him 175% of the salary due to that full bird rights which means the max taken off for him is about $16 million $17 million next season but I’m just wondering would Golden State Warriors possibly pay that price would they possibly pay him more if they’re looking to get a big for the long term and I think Isaiah hardstein would be a big you’d get for the long term he’s only 26 years old yes he’s been with a couple of teams he’s really been trying to find his spot in a starting lineup somewhere for an organization but eight points per game about nine boards per game which is not bad at all considering what Trace Jackson Davis has about four boards less than that 1.1 blocks per game putting up the exact amount Trace Jackson Davis is shooting a little less effectively from the field as Trace Jackson Davis is but he played a lot more games than Trace Jackson did as well hardenstein also ranked seventh an offensive rebounding this season in the NBA averaging 3.3 a game that would help a ton for the Golden State Warriors to constantly keep getting Steph Curry the ball to shoot more shots to constantly keep getting Brandon p more looks around that Wing or Jonathan kaminga to make a play around the rim you want a big that’s not only going to help you clean the glass defensively to bring you back to offense but to keep you there and if Isaiah hardenstein can do that and help out Stephen Curry and not to mention Brandon pimpy is a phenomenal offensive rebounder if you put them both in the same starting lineup I can’t imagine any defenses getting anything done with hartenstein down low and BP coming from crashing the board from the top of the three-point line but overall Haren Stein’s going to be looking for a big contract here as he should he’s got the resume in the postseason now and that’s what everybody wants right regular season’s great until it comes to playoff time and the regular season doesn’t matter anymore Isaiah hartstein is going to be looking for a big deal and we were talking to Nick’s now host Marshall Green just a little bit earlier and he’s saying look I could see the Knicks offering him four-year deal with whatever money they could possibly offer him but if somebody can make a better offer in a four-year contract Isaiah hardenstein could be open for it you wave Chris Ball’s $3.8 million you like to see what you can kind of clear up here with shallow resetting shaller salary shedding to get Isaiah hardenstein I think it’s worth a phone call but it comes down to whether or not the Warriors are going to stick with Trace Jackson Davis for the long haul or go out right now in free agency and pick up a win now Talent like Isaiah hartenstein they could go grab a 35-year-old veteran kind of keep him alongside try Jackson Davis but if you go get a 26-year-old Isaiah hartenstein you’re getting him to start and I fully believe that with that being said do you think the Warriors should go out and get Isaiah hardenstein NBA free agency if the money is there and they have a contract they’re willing to offer maybe a contract they weren’t going to offer Klay Thompson or so on go on ahead and comment why you would pick up Haren Stein or not in free agency down below while you guys are at it feel free to hit that sub button for me here on Warriors today by chat sports any moves the Warriors make you know we got it right here for free at chat sports [Music]

  3. BP, WELL DESERVED!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏿. AS FAR AS TRADES, NO INTEREST IN THEM BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE THE FRONT OFFICE DOESN'T REALLY WANT TO MAKE TRADES IMOP. IF WE'RE STUBBORN ON KUMINGA, THEN I DON'T SEE HOW WE'RE GOING TO IMPROVE THE TEAM. I HATE SAYING THAT.

  4. BP is under rated by us in the peanut gallery. All he did was master the dozen skills needed to run a team as a guard–and his rebounding was amazing. Did I mention that his passing skills are fabulous and he doesn't turn the ball over as, well, Jordan Poole did. And next season, I expect his shot to start falling. Recall that he was drafted as a shooter. Instead, he's done everything else excellently, and yes, his shot will start falling. I'm in the minority in thinking he's going to be a huge addition to the Ws, and/or in the NBA overall. he's a rookie, folks. Give him a year or two. Podz is the same size as Steph. I rest my case.

  5. p.s. TJD is working pretty darn well as a center. But yes, they need at least one other big. Hartenstein? probably not. Too pricey for too little return.

  6. I would rather give up Kuminga because he give up on a lot of plays and sometimes doesn't flow with the style of play. I would keep TJD.

  7. Hell yeah Hartenstein would be a monster on the warriors. His passing is sooo good, pretty much every pass is on target . He’d be perfect under Steve Kerr

  8. Great pick both For a change.
Pod, congrats but caution lets not label him s star let see what he has done offseason cause he will be on coaches radar. They will break down his game find all the flaws he is going to be tested same with Davis, will they overcome those walls. Ex..McCaw,Bell,Poole.

Regardless, I stand by comments season he got too many minutes especially when Kerr use line up of Curry,CP, Green,Pod.
I like the suggestion of getting a true big Hart but at 15-20million, is he a one year wonder or just a late bloomer? Regardless of whether Davis starts the position requires backup Green shouldnt be s option. With cap restrains there is no room for a mistake..
I think obtaing a veteran like lopez, Plummely, and big bruizer PF letting Davis starts be a better option.

  9. TJD should start. Get more bigs and rim protectors that can shoot. We’ll have to part ways with Saric and unfortunately Looney to clear up cap space to get more premium free agents and not bargain bin players.

  10. Hartenstein is 82 game center.. He showed not much production when knicks need him most.. He did not score not did he rebound .He did nothing. Check out the last 3 game in The Knicks/Pacer series. Make that the last 2 games. In all the games Indiana won. Hartenstein numbers were woeful.. knicks neeed more from him.. He could certainty help the Warriors dont get me wrong but his best does not necessarily leads to winning game on a team where he needs to score.

  11. Instead of rumors on trades … be a reporter and see what they are working on… Pods with his hook shot, TJD on his interior moves, Moody on his handle
