Anthony Edwards say the truth Edwards and the Timberwolves closed out the series over the defending champs last night with a 9890 win Ant-Man averaged nearly 28 points in the series and almost 30 points overall throughout the season leading Minnesota to their first Conference Finals in over two decades if Ant-Man pulls this off against the Denver Nuggets move out of the way Jason Tatum move out of the way Shay whoever Ant-Man is the face of this league Ant-Man pull this off LeBron Steph there’s a new sheriff in town man it’s good to hear tx’s voice that was Tracy McGrady on his podcast right there okay Stephen A this is now I feel like we can ask this question is Anthony Edwards the face of the NBA right now U to me he is yeah to me he is and I’m going to tell you why um first of all he’s only 22 years of age and he’s already in a Conference Finals that’s number one number two he had has everything to do with the Minnesota Timberwolves being there not just because of the greatness he’s put on display look at his athleticism Shay look at his quickness look at his ball handling skills look at his ability to finish at the basket and his three-point shot continues to develop okay and then you see him on the defensive end so his game is there yes but here’s why I’ll tell you he’s the face of the NBA now because his charisma you want to hear him talk you want to see him at the press conference you want to see his reaction like when he hit the corner three you understand to put him up 10 9282 with about with a little over two minutes left and he turned and he’s talking to the cats that’s sitting in the stands the way that he is his press conferences and everything else in between he’s a star caliber talent that wants to be the star that Embraces is the attention Shannon instead of shunning it and acting like it’s such it’s so laborious it’s so it’s so much labor that’s laying on his shoulders like some of the Bonafide stars in the league they don’t want the attention they want the money they want the shine but they don’t want the responsibility he does Shannon and that’s is what I think makes him the face of the NBA right now I agree with everything you said he has the personality he has the charm he has the Charisma I love how he takes blame when he doesn’t play well and when he does he when he plays well he give credit to others you’re absolutely right Stephen A he has it all he has that the ability to go out and get you 40 50 points the ability to play play on both ends of the Court he has no weakness you look forward because you know he’s going to make you laugh he’s very inle when he’s discussing the game there is nothing not to like about Anthony Edwards his game matches his Persona and I agree with what you said Stephen A for me it’s him the old guys is just like when Jordan came up magic and bird and Kareem and Moses all those guys had to take a back seat Ant-Man is here and he’s here to stay yeah yeah facts he’s so box office huh he’s just so box office like his personality how he talks trash smooth how he plays just all of it even hearing in post game yesterday yeah he’s that dude Luca donic Kyrie Irving have been the most potent Duo of any remaining in the playoff scoring it combined 48.4 points per game but Carl Anthony towns and Anthony Edwards and then there’s Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown I mean close behind Shannon tell me this I mean we got some serious Duos to look forward to which camera Mike let’s get it together Molly are Luca and Kyrie the most dangerous Duo remaining in the playoffs for me they are I trust them the most uh in the situation I know Luca we know what Luca Luca is and I think for for the second option if you going to look at second option Jaylen Brown Carl Anthony towns and Pascal seum If Halle Burton is the number one option I trust Kyrie over all those other guys because I’ve seen kyri on the biggest of stage play Big make big shots take big shots uh so for me yes they are the best duo that’s left in the playoffs I don’t think there’s any questions Shannon you’re absolutely right uh Kyrie Irving 14 and0 in closeout games 18 of his 22 points in the second half he just turns it on when he wants to and he’s LED uh the Dallas Mavericks and people got to give credit what credit is do I’m real proud of that brother and what he’s done this year Kyrie has been Sensational I don’t give a damn about his averages he’s done what needs to be done when it needs to be done and ler is a career 31.8 Point per game scorer in closeout games he’s four and two won his last four straight closeout games only Donovan Mitchell Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson average more close out games this is Luca we’re talking about here Luca and Kyrie together no question and that’s why this series against Minnesota’s defense is going to be something to watch I cannot wait I cannot wait absolutely [Music]
