Cleveland Cavaliers All-Access – The Road Back – S4E7, Left it All Out There
we are capable of anything when we do it together we got enough talent in the room right let’s get our mind right let’s go to Boston go get us something so be physical and be aggressive let’s show our hands let’s come out this was an opportunity for us to learn uh and that’s the most important thing is we got an opportunity to see them firsthand um you know see what we had in and our guys got an opportunity to get reps at what we were trying to do um and I expect us you know to get better as the series goes on all the way through inside oal extends that way that’s one of the reasons why they are such a good team Morris weak side Here Comes Garing on the attack this is mle the rebound shot clock it two Mitchell turns the corner what a shot can you tell in one playoff game what it’ll take to win a series I mean yes and no I I I don’t think you know everything but I think you can see the formula of how you know how to attack how to put yourself in the group in the proper positions to succeed so to answer your question yes I think you can figure some things out but you know know you got to continue the go but we’ll be better next [Music] game what a beautiful evening in Boston Massachusetts getting ready for game two of this Eastern Conference semifinal series the Celtics a one lead we’ll be better next game [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] closed on quickly by white [Applause] Mitchell looking to find space zigging zagging and finishing two before Mitchell and Cleveland responded here’s a Coro quick trigger and a [Music] conect you obviously go down 145 first couple minutes of the game call timeout things quickly turn around what kind of went on in the timeout and what allowed you guys to get back in the game right there before things obviously could have gone in another Direction I mean it just was a conversation about what was happening so I think think the guys stuck together and just made the shift and then once they saw it start to work their confidence grew that this was going to work and they went out and executed it [Music] well so since he came into the lead he’s becoming more and more efficient with how he what a finish there by car Marl three is good can’t get it to go and Mitchell PS the rebound the flick ahead moris able to make it to the rim the race was on and the veteran the three by Le missed it knew it follows it up and puts it in on the attack reverses it in hopefully the rebound is f aoro got three and ra it in to add some excit to their for more information [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] is responded on both ends of the floor in this game to win um first of all I want to give a a huge shout out to Evan Moy uh like man like stepped up big time um didn’t really play his best the way he wanted to offensively uh but to come out here on the road as a young player that’s a big time performance to set the tone for us um he did a lot of big things that really set the tone for everybody and I think the biggest thing is just we carried that throughout the way but everybody did their job but it started with Evan um went from there playoff career high for Evan Moy you had 23 of your 29 points in the second half another shout out maybe to Caris LeVert who was big off the bench big time um that’s who Caris is and you know the biggest thing I said it this morning um I think I told you like just trusting in the work we haven’t made shots a lot this playoffs you know but continue to trust in the work you put in [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] it felt crazy in the moment because of those [Applause] spurts talking about last game like those little details those little runs can change the entirety of the game because at the end of the day we held them to 106 and that’s not a bad defensive game against a team like that but it’s the key moments of when they get those points the runs they get and then not being able to score back on the other end it’s just compounds and compounds so I think that’s what’s you know the frustrating part of it but you know it happens and we got to you know figure it out and get ready from under what’s up what what happened to Donan um if he can’t play tonight how do you make up for such an AB uh everybody everybody’s going to have to tick up a little bit whatever their strength is whatever their skill set is they got to go out and be the most confident version of themselves tonight we’ll always do it together Fair here tonight Darius Garland gets it to stru and he gets the party started it’s going to be critical and another big sign there by stand up somebody let him doesn’t have numbers waits for his mates Merill inside what a pass he fights Thompson ahead of the Packers ooro stru trailing scor in a while lot of dribbling elevates um tonight they threw another punch and we stayed with it we stayed with it for a little bit and um just couldn’t get over the hump in a second half this one check check coach what do you say to the guys in there I mean I was proud of their effort they never found a time to fold on each other all they did was figure out ways to compete a lot of people can’t say that they were able to accomplish that so I I give our guys a ton of credit for fighting through you know uh adversity doing it together um putting themselves in this position they in tonight and one thing you can’t say about this team is that they didn’t go down fighting tonight how much is that something you can be at peace with yeah I mean they gave it everything they had um you know they understood the moment you know the amount of minutes they were going to have to play um and they left it all out there um you know we just got beat by a team that had to play really well uh and they had guys Step Up make huge plays make big shots for them um but I thought our guys did a heck of a job competing [Music]
One thing you can’t say about this team is they didn’t go down without a fight. In this episode of The Road Back, presented by Rocket Mortgage, we take a look back at the Eastern Semis series against Boston, proud of our effort and with a lot of excitement for the future.

Cavs need to be far more aggressive in building this team for a CHAMPIONSHIP, not this corporate incremental progress they've been feeding us. WE WANT A CHAMPIONSHIP! Anything less is failure. Stop playing it safe, play to win it all. I want to hear the word "CHAMPIONSHIP" from the owner, president, coach and players going forward…
obviously not the way we wanted to end the season, but im so proud of this group for continuing to battle and I had so much fun watching them this season ❤️ i cant wait for next year! thank you cavs 🫶🥹
Did the Cavs not do any exit interviews? The other teams in the league practically had theirs posted the very next day.
I honestly thought we would win against Celtics.
when are the exit interviews, bruh? it's almost been a week since y'all got knocked out of the playoffs.
Thankyou for a great season.
This season wasn't Championship or bust!
Trade Allen
Still great season so proud of my cavs ✌️❤️
I believe the team utilized and rallied just as good as any other in their position .. The situation with Jarrett Allen baffles me ( I wish there was more clarity there , but I get it, it’s a private matter ) , but I feel that everyone who played rose to the occasion .. You can always want more , expect more , but all things considered , I think they did a phenomenal job ..
As a Cavs fan, I’m not even mad at this season because we finally made out of the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs of the Donovan Mitchell era and we are just getting started! I can’t wait for next season! Let’s Go Cavs!!! ❤️💛🏀
This was the greatest run to the playoffs I m so proud of the Cleveland Cavaliers #letemknow
Are we not doing exit interviews this year?
Guys cashed in thag good ole pto
Guys, the quality of this show is not good. You have twenty second sound bites from people and you never establish who is speaking. You own Woodward Originals, let them do this right.
This offseason is going to be an very important one for the Cavs. What they decided to do with their coaching and roster will have a major impact on their future of Cavs basketball for many years. GO CAVS!
