Tyrese Haliburton, Pacers shoot NBA-record 67 percent to eliminate Knicks | NBA | UNDISPUTED

who Jersey it was it was a Nick Jersey skip I saw a Nick Jersey and I had to stomp on it cuz I’m tired of these Nick fans talking their stuff feel good story talking this and that and yeah go home go home yeah go home you know I’m tired of it this wasn’t about Brunson it was about these damn Nick bants and I’m tired of them what are you doing with the Nick’s Jersey well I lost a bet to where I had to wear a Nick Jersey yeah I lost a bed they they won I didn’t think they’ get out the first round okay so I had to wear a Nick Jersey for my podcast so I wore it okay but when they lost this is what you used the BET to to the Nick fans this was the BET to the Nick fans I said if the Nicks win the first round I we so now which Jersey did you get it’s not a Jaylen Brunson that was a it was a Brunson Jersey okay all right and you know in respect to Jaylen Brunson you know I I respect his game you know he’s one of the Premier players but this had nothing to do with him no I understand yeah about the Knicks so now that my bet is over and they lost this is what they get this is what they get they lucky I didn’t throw it into that fire pit right there I got the wood they lucky I didn’t do that so be happy but I told you Nick I mean I told I told you uh skip but this was going to go down to seven games and it were wear on the Knicks it would wear on the injuries would catch up well they all got hurt yeah the injuries would catch up and Indiana’s dep would proved to be too much for them okay and that’s what we saw so maybe next year Nick maybe if y’all can get healthy but uh oh well oh well well so I can’t remember did you predict that an anobi had pull his hamstring and then that Josh Hart had pull some AB muscle of some kind and that Josh that Jaylen Brunson yesterday with three minutes left in the third quarter would fracture his hand I mean it’s unu you know what this you know you know what the the Knicks remind me of they’re like the basketball equivalent to the Dallas Cowboys your Dallas Cowboys how is that because you get this billg good story America’s team and then they let you down okay except they let you down we have five Super Bowl trophies and we’ve been to eight Super Bowls about I’m just talking about the 2000s about the Knicks you know how about the Knicks what have they been to well the Knicks haven’t been anywhere well the Knicks haven’t been anywhere like the Dallas Cowboys the last time the uh the Knicks were in the Conference Finals 24 years ago yeah oh that’s CL you know the last time the Cowboys been in that’s close to where the Cowboys been in the conference Championship since they haven’t been there since 96 yeah except my team was down 27 to nothing in a home playoff game and everybody was healthy except for Travon Diggs but he’s gone for most of the year they were all healthy so yeah I mean it’s equivalent that’s equivalent you it’s a Feelgood story every year America’s rooting for them you know what I don’t think they’re alike at all cuz the Knicks just play their asses off my team doesn’t it just you know in the same sense America’s team and everybody’s rooting for him and then a big L down okay you know everybody picked the Nicks and game injuries everybody sure about that no I picked them based on I picked them based on being at home in MSG the crowd the fans the the wholeo this year at home yeah but it it was a complete embarrassment that wasn’t embarrassing that was embarrassing being getting blown out on your home floor was embarrassing to but the other team shoots an alltime record f is that 67 they shoot 76% in the first quarter Josh Hart couldn’t play defense they got tired tried to play couldn’t even walk and this is what I said at the beginning of the series the Knicks are going to wear down they can’t sustain this level of play for seven games if the Pacers could push it to seven games with the depth and they get the play out of halberton and he continued his play since game two that it were wear on the Knicks and it finally caught up to him in game seven and now they’re they’re they’re in Cancun somewhere I’ll probably meet them next week this weekend or something on my day off I’ll probably go out there be honest though man I I hear everybody keep saying they’re worn down they worn down they wear that they’re without players that play hold on the players I got it I get it but the players are not getting injured based on tibs is running them into the ground I mean I gotta you got shoulders ankles I have to you got hands none of that has to do with the coach I I have to believe that yeah I don’t know I didn’t I saw the play where Josh Hart got hitting the ribs but a lot of that has it has to do with I don’t think he’s hitting the ribs I think he just pulled an AB muscle yeah that’s muscle fatigue from playing 48 minutes a night muscle that kicks in that’s the thing like I’m not going to run a marathon then go out there so Julius round the shoulders because of tips listen he ran him into the ground so shoulder when he hit the ground the ground said not every injury is because of tips but I do believe that some of the injuries had to do with muscle fatigue like Anu noi strained his HST one guy out of all these guys pulls a Ab muscle that’s muscle fatigue can be a factor in injuries I I understand it can be but we talking about OG is the only one on that list of players that have missed time that’s a muscle injury shoulder he falls down get Bronson in the third quarter like you miss skip hit hit the thigh of the the opponent who he fractures his hand has nothing to do with the coach yeah I’ll get it now you don’t have now I don’t know why whatever they decided to do with OG coming back at the game I think that that part even though it was for a short period of time he knocked down the two threes but he was a liability on the defensive end and he liability the game Risk him tearing his yeah but I wouldn’t have played him anyway that’s what I’m saying you risk that same line who was that who was that then that was a coaching decision though that’s that’s but that’s a coach decision different than running somebody in the ground that’s a coach decision if they stay with that same lineup that they had when they played at home the last time they it’s a totally different game when you mess with the chemistry should have played in that game no not at all you mess with the chemistry but they’re trying to go Willis Reed you know the old yeah but that you should have saw him in pregame warm-up skip you would have known that’s probably not it they did know he couldn’t even drag his leg up the floor now you put a player’s career at risk and so like why even do that that much you can just tear it like and then you could be out for the whole next year or tear it and then it continue to be recurring recurring recurring recurring anyway it didn’t matter to me at the end of the day nobody’s I hate to say it but neither team is GNA beat the Celtics that’s just the reality I was surprised you weren’t rooting for the Knicks because you you you’d rather the Knicks play the Celtics right the Celtics we don’t like nothing about new York Knicks Yankees all of that okay I I got it but the Knicks are just so decimated you have much easier shot against the Nicks know it’s always it’s always going to be something oh wellers are way better wal yeah but but then it’s always going to be something so when we beat the Knicks oh they didn’t have all their guys oh you guys it’s G to be something with them y win the East Paul stop so we’ll rather we’ll actually rather play a more Indiana team who will probably test us more than these other teams in the first and second round yep and so we’ll take it we’ll take it you don’t want the easy path anymore there’s never an easy path to this trust me this oh so going through Miami wasn’t easy there’s no easy path to winning going through Cleveland there’s never easy path it takes hard work dedication God good now you’re giving me the coach now you give me the coach speak so you get ready to tell me and ski as we sit there at this desk that y’all didn’t have the easiest path of all teams in the playoffs well you got to be good and lucky we are lucky enough to not see Miami without Jimmy Butler we are lucky enough that Mitchell you know somehow came up with an injury in the last couple games because you know it looked like he had found his rhythm I mean that comes with it it comes with the the run to a championship things happen all right I want to talk about Tyrese halberg because he had a couple of Disappearing Acts in this series and now it’s game seven at the Garden going crazy in in fact Rick Carlile said after the game there’s no more rockus crowd in the NBA he said than this crowd at Madison Square Garden I don’t know if you would agree with that agree with that I agree with that it’s a little hostile okay even hit the side of he didn’t even hit anything but from that point forward Tyrese halberton makes six threes six threes and he is giv it to spike and he’s giv it to Ben Stiller and he’s given it to everybody up and down the floor and he’s given it it to the Knicks and he’s laughing up and down the floor and I tweeted at halftime if if I’m in the Knicks locker room I say that ain’t going to continue on our floor in the third quarter you got to feel good okay in the third quarter the Knicks did get it down to six they got it all the way down to six and all of a sudden every Pacer made a shot from that point forward everybody and it seemed like every time the ball left somebody’s hands I said that’s going in and it did couldn’t miss a shot couldn’t miss a shot right mid-range again here’s another one of those I guess you would call a ro those role players AR supposed to roll on the RO I know but here we are again in a game seven where he wasn’t the only guy on the team everybody else stepped up where just like Minnesota everybody else stepped up when a star player was struggling yeah Paul when doc was your coach when you won your Championship he famously or infamously said he summed up all of NBA basketball as it’s a make or Miss league right and this is just make or Miss basketball but when you start making it’s so contagious because everybody comes to the party right and every Pacer once halberton starts draining threes they kind of go as he goes insired yeah absolutely and then all of a sudden everybody’s making threes and TJ McConnell comes in and makes every shot was holl Burton the best point guard in this series true point guard or just I’m just saying who won the match I don’t know I don’t know that Jaylen brunson’s a point guard but I guess who won the matchup I mean we know won the series but since well there’s no way the Knicks get the game seven without Jaylen Brunson there’s just no way without holl Burton they don’t get the game seven yeah holl Burton but holl Burton holl Burton feel it feels like to me had he had more at his disposal even though Divan chenzo and Hart at times well they they not they not winning unless holl Burton do what he does let’s just be honest about all this when the Knicks won game one the way they wanted and game two the way Brunson was playing you was like this is going to be a short Series yeah y’all thought this would be a short series but then Tyler Tyler Tyrese halber said uhuh not so fast yeah I’mma show up to this party but he B out in game two he said not so fast 37 in game two he was like hold on not so fast because in the first round Tyrese was nowhere near like if we look back his back at his stats in the first round he didn’t play well at all M but he said hold on I remember who I am now because early in the year we were we were showering him as like oh he might be the best point guard in the league yeah you know the way his run he had a run in the End season tournament the way he played and and and the hype that was surrounded he was he had I think collected like 21 assists with no turnovers he had a game like that yeah and then we saw him in the first round and I was like who is this guy did he forget how to play basketball I I actually said that about him in a couple games but from game two and on from the Knicks uh Series this is the player that we said okay this is the future of our league and in the end I feel like he won his matchup and I thought that was going to be they didn’t really guard each other that much this is the point guard matchup yeah they didn’t guard each other halberton didn’t want to guard them because they had other guys they needed bigger stronger guys to guard this guy he’s a he’s a he’s he’s tough jaylen’s tough he’s tough he’s tough he a tough son of a you know what yesterday and he was fighting and then again he was fighting injuries yeah I mean you got a yesterday he looked a half step slow to me he was he was worn out they pick him up full court every game every dribble and they can throw n Smith and then Nim hard and then TJ McConnell and Ben Shepard so they’re just throwing body after body after fresh body at him and he looked like he did wear down and out yesterday yeah absolutely absolutely I thought so and I said this at the beginning I said if this goes seven they can wear down the Knicks for the simple fact they had to play too many minutes I mean every night you looking up 40 plus minutes that’s tough skip that’s and with the way the physicality physicality of this game these games were going and the ball pressure and the speed of the game the way the Pacers was playing that’s tough and so but shout out to Nicks they fought hard they they represented with the city of New York was all about yeah and that’s all they want that’s all they’re a hard no that’s all they want they happy they happy did you see the fans after I mean listen they gave them a big Ovation they gave them an ovation they they represented these Five Guys represent what New York was all about tibs as a coach them as a player Josh Hart Bronson they represent New York well listen and it’s all fun and games you know the Boston New York thing and it’s fine this is what sports is about guys yeah this is sports so don’t take it personal this is what sports is so get over it you stomped on a Nick in sports okay you can’t you can’t do that that’s why I can’t is did I do something illegal no like in sports it’s illegal I see it all the time see BR un Ru but I see Nicks fans do it to the Philly Jersey outside their arena in the first round did we not see that yeah yeah I thought we saw that I thought I saw clips of that but you’re not just some fan I am a fan I’m a fan of the Boston Celtics and I’m a hater of the Knicks and the Lakers and the Lakers did you hate Divan chenzo yesterday because listen he made nine threes you got to give that that was a big time game he play let me tell you something from what I saw from the Knicks they got about like five six guys that’s underpaid yeah and that’s why I said they played over their pay grade yeah I mean Jaylen Brunson is a max player Josh Hart should be getting paid significantly more money yeah I mean and we know Isaiah hardenstein he going to get paid this summer he’s going to get paid you know even though he went for a zero Z game Julius randle’s one of their you can argue he’s their second best player or allar he’s an allar an Allstar right and remember bog donovich has had some nice moments in this league right as a shooter I mean B donovic is a key contributor yeah no but I’m saying you lost all these guys and Mitchell Robinson is a backup I I don’t know you you get them healthy me one can argue that if the Knicks were healthy they’ll be playing the Celtics and you can argue that this that ain’t gonna be easy wouldn’t be easy it wouldn’t be easy no no not at all you’d have home court so you’d have that yeah but that I wouldn’t be comfortable yeah your home your home court hadn’t been very homy home court haven’t been homey thanks for watching Undisputed fans do you want more highlights from the show make sure to click that subscribe 1. I'm a Chicago Bulls, and New York Giants fan,I've been saying this forever. Since Ewing talking about this our year than loose foh!!!!! Big time facts 💯 👏I agree with you Paul Knicks and Dallas

  2. I like undisputed better than first take. In first take they don’t be debating they just be yelling.

  3. The pacers had an injured bucks team and a depleted knicks team. Their succes has been driven by the misfortune of others. The celtics will take care of them.

  4. If the Cowboys are comparable to anyone it's the Celtics. Storied franchise who hasn't done anything in almost 40 years. Living off the the accomplishments of generations past.

  5. Let's be real! Everyone in the East had an easy path. The only series that had all their stars was the 6ers. So, why do the Celtics get hit with the bs about an easy path?

  6. Real Viewers Loved Paul’s take on the nba pure emotion and you he has to feel like you are better than him without a doubt for him to give you props rightfully so.

  7. See key dis why ppl want u off da basketball segment cuz u don’t know what u talking about mane da Knicks was gas’s my brother 😂😂😂

  8. OG is TRUTH! He said it before the series Pacers in 7! He knows game. He was only one in media that Pacers in 7 and told reason why it will happen! That gesture towards Knick fan exactly what they all deserve who supported knicks! Thibs is stupid to run his work horses till thye die, he risks health of all team just to get his raise! GO P! Smash them you told TRUTH, real OG!

  9. I honestly thought the Knicks would beat the Pacers in 6 games but damn the Pacers never quit. I think a healthy Knicks teams beats the Pacers but who knows. Thibs really overworked his players that’s why they get hurt in the playoffs. If the Knicks wanted to be better they should’ve traded Randle instead of Barrett and Quickley

  10. Paul you said it's about the Knicks but you stomp out a Brunson jersey but yet you got a ring on kg and Ray you bum not the truth I respect Reggie more

  11. It is a battle between team basketball and heroic plays. The Bucks and Knicks played with less health because they did not have a long-term health management plan. They were short-sighted, focusing on winning the next battle by putting their star players on the court all the time. This strategy works at the beginning of the season but is set to fail deep into the playoffs. The logic is simple: the more minutes the starters play, the higher the chance (statistically and fatigue-wise) they get injured; the fewer minutes the bench players have, the shallower their bench gets. It is a vicious circle. Basketball is a team sport.

  12. The same can be said about Indiana 😂. Bucks with no dame or giannis. Then they played the crippled Knicks
