Players are shooting 38.9% when guarded by Anthony Edwards in the playoffs. That’s the lowest mark in the NBA.

No no no Jamal Murray said it was his elbow

And with Big Mac (who made me forget that Michael Porter Jr was on the Nuggets) the Mavs should be shaking in their boots.

  3. Top 5 player in the league RIGHT NOW. Go ahead and @ me. Averaging 29/6/6 on 50/40/84 shooting splits across 11 games while taking down Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Jokic, Jamal Murray and doing so while playing elite defense as well. He’s the best 2 way player in the league. This man is cooking. You get past Doncic and Irving. You take down Tatum and Brown and the Celtics and at age 22, it has a chance to go down as one of the most impressive Finals runs of all time

Remember Mavs fans indicating he’s not really an elite defender?  They’re about to find out

I figure they were saving Ant some energy the first half but when they finally put him on him in the 3rd quarter full time it was over.

Tbf, he was primarily on Murray who was ass even in the lakers series. Other than that tho, yeahs he’s been unreal

Honest question: Who’s the better on ball defender between Ant Edwards and Jmac?

  8. reminder that in these stats “guarded by” for perimiter players is doing alot of the work. very good defense from edwards, but usually the guarding is funnelling into a bigger help defender

If he wasn’t so good on offense he’d be known as elite defender. Hes been getting some nice blocks too.
