  1. Worst move of the off-season was giving him 4yr/32m

  2. oldasshit

Yeah, time to move on from Zeke if anyone will take him.

Would have to add something like a draft pick or another player to get anyone serviceable back for him. Maybe Booth expected him to increase his value this year as a future trade piece but the exact opposite happened.

haha what a terrible move instead of adding real bench depth (DJJ).

    **Bulls get**

    MPJ

    Zeke N.

    **Nuggets get**

    DeRozan

    Jevon Carter

Congrats to him for making lifetime money and contributing nothing

And this sub downvoted anyone who dared to say it was a bad move at the time lmao

The downfall of Zeke is disappointing because I thought he could be a good role player for us. He had a good shot coming out of college and destroyed it. And he has good lateral movement and size on defense to guards wings and smaller bigs but for some reason we pigeonholed him into being a rim running backup 5. He’s a horrible rebounder and doesn’t have the size to compete with 5s so we did him no favors in his development.

The frustrating part is he has the physical tools to be a decent role/bench player. Agile, athletic, runs the floor, plays hard. Just can’t seem to put it together for some reason.

  10. so in 4 years, including his rookie season he put up@ decent numbers. you gotta remember this is only on a bit over 53 minutes total, and is on 56%fg and 46%3pt. 25 pt, 6r, 2a, 2s, 1b on those percentages for basically one full game with ot isn’t too shabby for a backup.

the problem, aside from some injuries, is that we’ve been in contend mode the past couple seasons. and even though he defends well, generally has good hustle, and draws lots of fouls on offensive rebounds, he makes mistakes that cost us possessions. he half the time either mistimes screens and gets called for illegal screens, or gets too excited and misses an easy finish. so he hasn’t gotten consistent playing time with malone only going about 10 deep during the reg season and 7-8 deep in the playoffs with a tendency to play vets over potential upside.

he’s not the reason we lost this postseason

Yeah I was mind blown when we paid him. Gonna have to trade him ASAP guy just isn’t good no offense. This right here is why I don’t have much faith in Booth.

    Lol, team wins ship:

“everyone contributed and deserves a ring”

    Team loses:

“dafuq we need that guy for?”

making it to the NBA is a big deal.

I’m sure he’s worked harder in a single year than you have in your whole life.

  13. kavacoordinate

He’s not a center. That’s the issue. It drives me crazy when you draft a guy in any sport to play a position they’ve never played. Also Malone’s rotations really don’t lend themselves to player development unless youre a stud in the joker/Jamal model.

Why did they use a stunt double for his photo
