I’m a Hunter hater but yeah, I think he’s better than Barnes. The issue with Hunter for Sacto is that he’s more expensive and he’s got an extra year for $25m. So they aren’t gonna give up an asset unless they really want Hunter as part of their core. Maybe this would be worth it for them, maybe not. My impression is they wanna get off Barnes’ money, but maybe they think Dre is the missing piece.
