was it simply a factor of Derek white getting them off to that kind of start or what else did you see that sort of pushed them to that big lead relatively quickly yeah I mean uh you know offensively we struggled again we we had some you know decent looks early on uh weren’t able to knocked those down and then you know Derek white was uh very good tonight obviously um but it was it was the threes that got them going you know at the beginning and then just in those moments uh uh you know during the course of the game he was just very efficient very good uh anytime there was the slightest momentum change on our part it seemed like he he hit a big basket but Hae didn’t play in the fourth quarter was yeah an injury yeah we’re going to find out you know yeah he’s tight um in his upper leg um I don’t know you know he went into the locker room came back out and he just was not moving the way you know you normally like to see him so we we’ll find out tomorrow doesn’t change the result but is there anything to take away from the fact that the defense mostly yeah you know our guys are have great competitive character our guys are battling I know it’s tough to to recognize that if if you see the score like this but our guys are putting everything out there you know everything um there’s not a a ton left in the tank uh you know in terms of defensively we do need to put some points on the board you know we’re not going to be able to hold this team to 70 um I have great confidence in our defense you know but holding this team you know to the low 100s is uh is pretty significant the way they can shoot and way they can stretch you out um I I know in my heart we we have uh a game we have a game that’s it’s there you know um it’s just a matter of you know the ball going in a few few more times and all of a sudden it it it ignites and then and then it just keeps on going um we’ve proven we can win a bunch of different ways but I think we have a game I think we have an offensive game in us um and then you know continue to defend and compete like this it’s not perfect but um we do that then you know our guys really want to to get this thing back to Miami and have just a a great game in front of our fans I I I know it um and guys have talked about it um and that’s what we’ll uh we’ll focus on you know it’s this is what the playoffs are about you you feel like a certain way after a loss um you regroup you uh rally around each other you you focus on the task at hand uh it’s going to be an incredible environment up in Boston our guys love those kind of environments love the competition we love the challenge this is a significant challenge with Boston our guys love that um and we want to bring this thing back to Miami um and put together another great game in front of our fans you know you obviously you just alluded to sort of the thought process of going down 3 one in the series obviously you talked about embracing that mental toughness especially being competitors can you just kind of talk about what you’re feeling in terms of yourself and what the team’s feeling maybe in terms of the you know the mental yeah the teams will will feel however we feel I know how I feel right now but by the time we get on that plane uh this is a very mentally tough team uh and a team that Embraces really tough challenges uh and we’re also able to compartmentalize you don’t want to think about you know the the big picture of this it’s about just going up there uh and doing whatever we have to do to get that win and and get back here you know to our fans um here in Miami um like I said our our our team really wants to play well in front of our fans um and so that’s the motivation you know to get this thing back here thanks coach all right thank you
