Nuggets/Timberwolves Postgame, Jokic, Edwards, Murray, Towns, Coaches Reactions | 2024 WCSF, GM7

col Jamal coach uh carried a lot of the burden offensively for you guys uh what did you like what what sort of broke down between them within the second half just within those actions well I think so much was being placed on their shoulders I mean it was uh we’re expecting nicoa and uh Jamal to can to continue to pull rabbits out of their hat man and somebody else got to give some help I mean you know Joker 34 Jamal 35 and uh you know we just struggle to make shots you know they’re really good defense uh I thought our guys played extremely hard tonight to hold that team to 98 points 39 from the field 29 from three um but as I said all series long um are we going to be able to score enough in this series and once again in the four losses we couldn’t score uh I think now after the four losses we probably averag around 85 points a game and 115 in the three wins um so we had to go Jamal going in the first half we scored and uh obviously at halftime you know they picked up their aggression ran off our misses they became aggressive and then the second half they totally dominated the glass we dominated in the first half in the second half they had rebounded as 29 to 15 coach were you were you satisfied with the the quality of the offense in terms of the the process of getting shots or you know was it you know one of those things where you thought you thought that Miss shots kind of affected what you guys did on that end and on the other end as well uh no I mean I I don’t think our Miss shots affected anything except the scoreboard and again they they shot 39 from the field Anthony Edwards was six of 24 so the Miss shots didn’t affect anything other than us not scoring but to give up 98 points in a game seven on those percentages I’ll take that all day long um was our offense where it needed to be in that second half I think U it could definitely have been better we could have gotten probably better looks um you know but again for 82 games they’re the number one defense for a reason and uh we just weren’t able to make enough shots and create enough good shots in that second half coach after a great first series with uh Michael Porter Jr shooting the ball what do you think happened in this series to his game offensively they guarded him yeah they guarded him really well and obviously against the Lakers he was able to get off you know I don’t know what the percentages are but now four losses you know I know Michael didn’t shoot the ball well and he wasn’t the only one but you know he was three or 12 tonight one of six from three last two games they doubled Nia I felt a lot of those were were good looks just didn’t go down and I know you know sometimes you you it’s an oversimplification of the NBA being a make or Miss league but um we just did not make enough shots in this series Michael included but it wasn’t the only one we as a team team did not make enough shots and I didn’t help generate enough good looks maybe to uh to help ourselves but um every series is a learning opportunity and this feeling sucks as I told our players uh that you go from training camp all the way through and then it comes to an abrupt Halt and that hurts so use that feeling as motivation and come back a better player we won it last year teams in the west they they regrouped they retooled how are we going to be the Champs and teams got better and um you got to tip your cap to to Minnesota obviously Chris Finch um their team Anthony Edwards all their players um that was a hell of a series and they gave us all we could handle and uh you know they wind up winning game seven on our court which is a tough one to swallow but uh we’ll be back we just got to find ways to look inside look outside and find ways to continue to get better Coach to to fight four in top three seed and then to ultimately lose three home games in this series how you know you mentioned them winning on your home court here in the holler and in the in the locker room how how tough is that to swallow that you guys did lose the three home games well of course you know um we have one of the best home records in the n NBA this year and to lose one and two and then to lose seven is uh I don’t think anyone could have predicted that happening I think most people had the series going seven but not the way it went seven that’s kind of a strange Series in that regard um but yeah that’s um to let them come in here three times and beat us in our home court that’s something that we’re not accustomed to and uh if you’re going to try to win a championship if you can try to get to Western Conference Finals obviously you got to protect your home court Michael you touched on it briefly I think in the previous answer but the the devastation you saw from your players walking off the floor down the hallway what kind of a message do you try to give to them um I me obviously tough tough words and you can see from from their faces the everything they gave and and now it’s over yeah it’s uh it’s hard U and and I think you know as I’ve gone through my NBA career as a head coach you know I used to meet with players right after the season ended and talk I don’t do that anymore it’s it’s too emotional you know the the sting of it is still too raw so I I think it’s good for everybody to get away for me to get away and kind of reflect on the season in totality because right now all I’m thinking of is that we are done and uh that that that for me hurts uh for our players it hurts get back to work you know I mean we all have to dig deep look inside come come back better individually and then as a team as a group we’ll get with Calvin we’ll get with Josh and uh you’re always looking at ways to get better and uh that’s what we’re going to do coach I think Kevin Harlem said on the TV broadcast said this is the sixth straight year the defending champ champ hasn’t gotten past the second round what do you think that says about just how tough it is to advance as the defending champ well we knew it were as hard you know something I talked to our team about in training camp you know I think the last team to do it was the 17 18 about in training camp you know I think the last team would do it was the 17 18 Warriors and uh with the rules being what they are now I think it’s going to become even harder and harder to repeat as Champions um but the one thing I keep on going back to right now is that I consider the San Antonio Spurs a dynasty and they never won back to back um so losing the hurt of it the pain of it it it helped us win our first championship can we use this year you know we tied a franchise record 57 wins uh we went 21 and six out of the All-Star break we really stepped up um beat the Lakers in the first round and lost to a very talented Timberwolves team who held the number one seed most of the year until the very end um so it is hard it is hard it is hard to repeat it’s hard to win and uh we all got to do whatever it takes to not have this feeling again next year but I’m very proud of the entire Team all 18 players everything they sacrificed since Labor Day I’m very proud and thankful for the coaching staff that I have uh the ownership group that we have and uh you know this is just a momentary delay you know it’s a failure is not fatal we’ll be back coach uh winning the championship you have to have a certain level of hunger I can imagine defending a championship is exhausting how exhausting has the totality of this season been yeah I I think it’s a really important point and I’ve never and those that know me I’m I’m not an excuse maker um the better team won so I’m taking nothing away from Minnesota um but when you look at the fact that all the teams that are still playing we played into June last year a lot of basketball and then uh we had to play our guys our main guys unlike last season through game 82 to secure the number two seed whereas last year we we were able to rest down the stretch and I think the the run last season and coming back and you know the the amount of minutes that our our starters had to play I think mentally emotionally physically I think guys they’re gassed they’re dead tired they gave me everything I could ever ask for and that’s why as as much as this hurts I will walk out of this building tonight with my head held very high CU we competed we fought we gave ourselves a chance and we came up short and that’s going to happen at times no one ever said this was going to be easy trying to repeat and um like I said you know we just got to improve across the board get better and uh and come back even stronger thanks everybody appreciate yeah Chris you’re you’re down 20 on the road in game seven to the defending champs yeah like what just what did you see from your guys that were allowed to pull this thing out I mean the effort was there you know we just had to our offense kind of went sideways in the first half um and they really ued their defense they were very physical um and we just talked about you know kind of getting back to simplifying our offense if you will thought I thought we were trying to over orchestrate matchups and mismatches and all this other stuff and kind of played right into their hands um so we just had to get back to kind of moving the ball we didn’t shoot the ball particularly well typical game seven in that regard um but you know even when we were um you know down like I was kept looking at the field goal percentage and we were in the 40s in the 30s our defense was there um and then it went to a special place in the third quarter you know where where we’ve been able to take it at times um and you know just everybody just kind of you know bucking up and making plays and uh executing the game plan so yeah was the moment like for you at the end of the game you got a hundreds of wolves fans cheering for you and just you closed it out what’s it feel like yeah first of all i’ love to uh really like to say thank you to our road support both in Phoenix and here it’s been a ton of wolves fans in the building it’s been great I know that they’re uh enjoying the ride and we really appreciate their support um you know special moment man this is a hell of a team um with the best player on the planet and uh this series was wild and this game was just a microcosm of the entire series you know um teams getting a big handle on each other and just you know trying to fight through it so Rudy Nas and Jaden yeah does that just kind of speak to this team and like I know the confidence that everybody plays with when you guys are at your bus yeah I was really proud of Nas you know he was a little frustrated CU we kind of pulling him out I think you know cat was playing so well and um and uh just wanted to kind of keep going back to that but he stayed in it mentally uh made big plays made hustle plays um you know uh and you know obviously you know they did a great job of throwing multiple bodies at ant made it tough for him all night um and that always leaves up other opportunities and you J Jaden came into the series from a scoring point of view in game six and continued it today um you know we got a couple end of the shot clock lucky shots to go in which we needed you know but when you’re playing the right way and those you create those that that that amount of luck so um what did you say anything at halftime only because like the rebounding was significantly different yeah I mean we were getting crushed they had 14 second second chance points that that was where our defense was letting us down the most uh 14 Second Chance points in the first half we had to get a handle on that uh more than anything um but I was really pissed about the offense thought the offense had degenerated completely um for no real reason uh and so we we we uh we we address both those things Chris it seemed like uh Carl has had the the defensive matchup of yic has been so important for him here you it seemed like he was what kind of pulled the offense though out of that time when it was devolving just kind of that element of Carl and what he was able to do yeah I mean I thought one of the key moments yeah cat was really special offensively particularly in the second half um and uh you know got his drive game going uh we had got going in the post early um you know I thought we were trying to play through ant a lot and it was kind of bogging us down and we you know when we got him out in the second quarter we got Kyle in there kind of loosened up the ball movement a little bit and uh you know we were able to get some other guys into involved just just enough to feel the game you know and we had a great you know we had six guys in doubles and you know they had two guys score uh 69 you know and um and it’s they’re great players but it’s that’s hard to do in a game seven is uh um carry that much load all the way through so coach uh what do you think it meant uh for cat to get over this hump he been with the franchise so long and also overcoming the pressure that he probably had on him yeah more than just about anyone in this game yeah I think it means a lot I think you see how how uh at peace and happy he is right now um you know he had to trust that uh he was never going to be marginalized you know it’s all young players always think that they can do it all by themselves but in this league nobody can um you know he’s been on many teams where he’s had to do a lot and he’s got an incredible skill to do so um but he’s really bought into doing all the other things that we need him to do um you know last last series he guarded Durant this year is joic um you know score play through him when the moment is there but we’re not playing through him all the time staying ready um staying positive you know and staying mentally in it and couldn’t be more happy and proud for him um just because you know I think he’s faced a lot of unfair criticism when it comes to to um the postseason at times cuz you know um but the more you go through these things the the more experience you have and the more more at peace you are uh you know over here what your confidence in just the team’s mental makeup or toughness your down 20 game seven defending champs they’re building that they had this in them to to pull it out at one moment maybe throughout the season or or whatever did you realize that this group had a night like this yeah I mean listen I mean um we’re I’m very confident in our guys all the time you know um and again down 20 we were guarding and we were playing hard we just weren’t playing very smart on the offensive end so once we figured figured that out I thought we we could make a run and tighten the game up a little bit before halftime and I thought you know could have been 11 but it ended up being 15 Mike lay up and they lay it at the other end of the floor um but um you know our guys when you defend you give yourself a chance all the time um and um yeah so I didn’t lose faith in our guys you know it’s too early was way too early to do that but we hadn’t done a good job in games three four and five of kind of surviving our own bad offense and tonight we were able to do that you know so Chris I wonder for you personally I mean you’ve seen a ton in this game you’ve done a lot in this game but between the injury and then the journey that you you have at this squad I think late third quarter you start getting out of the chair a little bit uh I don’t think we’ve seen you do that I mean is this you know is this going to be a night that you remember for a long time I yeah for sure it’s a big moment for our club you know you know every everybody talks about the last 30 years which mean nothing to me um but it does mean a lot to a lot of people to see this team root for this team the cities behind this team um and to beat a team like Denver on their home floor you know the way we did of course it’s going to mean a lot for sure so Chris you touched on a little bit a moment ago but Denver really wrestled momentum away after game five what was the conversation like with the players the staff to have the ability to turn things around and and win two elimination games the way that you did yeah I mean I thought game five was our worst Tech technical performance of the game of the series um you know the effort was there but we just did not play very smart uh particularly on the offensive end of the floor and I thought defensively we gambled a lot outside the game plan um and I don’t know why it happened that way it just did um and that gave me great confidence that uh you know we can come in turn things around because there was a lot of solutions that we could see easily on tape for game six and we said to ourselves all series long our best is better than their best we just have to play our best and we hadn’t done that in the middle of the series it seemed like the offense had a lot of perimeter passing and not as much entry passing and it seems like your this season when you haven’t turned the ball over your defense is able to win games so you had very few turnovers was that part of the offensive philosophy is to not you know not only not dribble into people but basically make the safe quick pass I yeah for sure and in game five we didn’t we were driving into crowds we had you know those three charges in four possessions and the other one was blocked so um and we knew what they were doing defensively they’re going to put two on Cat in the post they were going to put two on ant in the perimeter and we just had to make the right play and then the next guy had to make the right play and that chain reaction is as was really the solution and the key so what was your thought process when you saw Rudy goar with the turnaround jump shot in the fourth quarter yeah it was a heck of an atto we drew up for him um yeah I mean listen you need that you know uh he made one of those in game one too um made one of those in game one so I was happy for him because it made up for the fast break layup that he missed so awesome thanks coach thank [Music] you Jamal and you hit that you hit the corner three to put you guys up 20 I guess what what changed from there me put us up when you’re three that put you guys up 20 early in the third what changed from that point forward 203d um I have no clue I don’t even know what what you’re I don’t know when you’re talking about what are you talking about in the third quarter did three 20 minute into the third quarter I don’t even remember bro I just remember the last five minutes when I had a turnover and I didn’t box out that’s all I remember Jamal knows there’s been a lot of pressure on you physically a lot of pressure on you mentally throughout this series just looking back at over the course of these seven games just where do you think the team could have been better as a whole I just think I could have been better obviously when you you know I feel like today you know we generated Great Looks but we all shot below 50% you know every single one of us so it’s tough when you know you you get the looks you want and you don’t make them and they come down and they score you know it’s it’s it’s like one more he ask for you know what I’m saying so you know I was below 50% Mike was below % K yoke I mean I felt like we got the shots we wanted the opportunities were there and um our defense was there um I just think that run um you know the run that they had uh somewhere in the second half you know we couldn’t recover for that one Jamal coach said that he wasn’t going to make excuses but that the starter specifically he could tell where gas between the Deep Run last year and then having to just play more minutes and play to game 82 could you get that sense a little bit that he just had to rely on you guys a little more than than maybe he would have liked I’m not worried about being tired I’ve been playing in Denver for eight years now so I’m used to the altitude I’m using to find in my second win that’s not I mean that’s not even doesn’t even make sense we’re just I’m I’m playing the game it’s I played 42 a played 403 so I mean I don’t know Jamal it looked like they did a better job over the course of the series of posting you guys up and like with Cad and with Nas and and those guys just how difficult was it to switching like doing a defensive SK like switching the entire time like were they getting the looks that they wanted no I mean that’s they got three bigs out there so I mean that’s that’s part of their game plan um feel like we did a good job I feel like we just didn’t make shots you know on top of that um obviously they’re going to score they have great players you know um we had our opportuni tonight and we we didn’t make them and that that that part stinks anything else Jamal talking about repeating being hard now that you’re on the other side of trying it I know it just happened but are you able to reflect it on what makes it so difficult I’ll say uh just just mentally and physically you know contouring up the energy to to fight like you’re being hunted I think that’s that’s the that’s the emotion um you know I think when you’re with a hunter you have so much more uh motivation and you you grasp onto anything to prove everybody wrong and you have a a constant ship on your shoulder I think you know as the winner you know having had one I think um I don’t know I feel like we should have won tonight that’s that’s that’s the tough part you know they beat us but we had so many great opportunities um including myself so um It’s just tough man I’m just excited for next year Jamal sorry to look ahead so quickly but I don’t know if we’ll hear from you again um you okay did the have have the injuries you’ve dealt with over the course of this season impacted how you view the Olympics at all or are you fully committed no I mean I got rest now so Jamal um so it’s going to be kind of long offseason but uh will we see you will we see you representing Team Canada and then summer olyp okay yep Jamal coach said that he thought you guys could use this as motivation that one of the first things he said so I guess how does it fuel your offseason for sure um yeah man it’s back to being the hunter it’s back to being uh you know fighting for something with a different type of edge you know so I think we we know we beat them uh we beat them in the first round I know that’s that sucked for them cuz they they’re such a good team so I know last year you know being them sucked for them and uh they came in this year with motivation and uh they showed it um um you know we I feel like we’ve seen a lot of Rudy and Mike Conley over the years um they got us they got us this year I appreciate you damn I’m I’m trash what you 6 for 24 oh you was I was look at me look look at me two for 10 damn but look we all plus minus in the POS hell yeah Jaden had the hot no my that’s I I don’t be trusting that that’s a lot that b came change the game yeah that’s cap they him 11 points was the biggest 11 points in his God it’s uh 20 I think in the third quarter like what did what did you notice what flipped for you guys to allow you to climb back in it and take this starting hitting some shots playing some defense even better at a higher level I thought and um just this is Timber woles basketball I think I think this was just a a a real showing of timberwol bask why it’s fin us you know where it’s a team effort um you know we got hype for players that we have me and him included on this table but like I said we have we don’t have a big three we got a big 15 you know we we every single person on this team means a lot to this team and they help in so many different ways and uh this game just shows that the Timberwolves not Anthony Edwards not Carl Anthony towns not Rudy goar the Timberwolves are a special team scking down at the end of the game you got hundreds of fans right behind your bench going and what was that moment like for you you’ve been through a lot with this franchise what were your emotions like as you soaked in on yeah I don’t know the camera’s caught it but uh I definitely had a moment just you know I’ve been here nine years I’ve talked about wanting to win and uh do something special here at this organization and you know for all the failures and all the things that didn’t materialize and happen and um the disappointment that comes with it to be having this moment where even just for this moment we get to celebrate this the wins you know uh for me being here nine years I’ve seen everything and seen it all and um and them nine years just man right but um to be here and this year these guys this team after all that it just it’s super special a you you talked about uh the the job Carl’s done defending jic and and how important this that has been in this series kind of felt like you got really needed the offensive push from him today in in addition to that what stood out to you about his game tonight um he made all the right plays tonight like once again he only took 14 shots um he’s always super efficient from the field um and he carried us tonight every time we needed a bucket um he was there for us we gave it to him in a post multiple times he made the right play multiple times over and over again and we get on him about crashing from the top but today he crashed from the top for a big bu that we needed so uh big shout out yeah for sure he put us on his back tonight they hate when it don’t work and they love they love when it work that’s how I go for game five but you win two elimination games and you KO the Champs in their own house at game seven just what type of statement win do you believe this to be about this team and the way you guys were able to win today I mean it showed us who we who we are um cuz the coaches believed in us um even though at Hal time even in the third down 20 they like just keep making runs keep making runs and it showed us who we are man once we really lock in on the defensive end cuz offensively we played okay but once we really lock in on the defensive end man we we’re a hell of a team to beat and it was along that run I think it was something like 31 to9 maybe even better than that from late in the or early in the third to early in the fourth was there a sequence that where you’re like okay we we got this the game is back turning in our favor yeah um I mean I don’t even know turn around turn I think when Rudy hit the turnaround I was like yeah we probably got him God is with us cuz I know that’ll kill you I know that’ll kill your whole that’ll kill everything yeah hey big shout out to Big R man Big R hit the turnaround on their ass on God’s day too n yeah I think that’s when I knew we had him once he hit that turnaround you guys um Carl got that fifth foul and Nas Reed came in and and set the tone on both ends of the floor just talk about how special he’s been this series and what he means to this team um man C was just talking about it up here um I think the plus minus stuff is trash because Nas when C got his fifth foul Nas came in and he played great defense on joic um got a got a couple offensive rebounds um hit a big shot got a big dunk um May got a couple steals he play hard man so you know he’s he’s super important to our team and um we tell him all the time just stay with it stay with it and he stayed with it tonight and it showed for sure I think just for me it’s just anyone who doubted him being the Sixth Man of the Year the silence will be louder he showed it tonight you guys what does it look like when like at halftime when like Finch comes in and it’s ticked you say what finch comes in and is mad clearly mad like what does that look like at halftime he wasn’t really mad today it was more so like he was like I know we going to win this game we just got to do this to win the game like he wasn’t really mad um he just came in and the clips on the on on the um the screen were like this what we got to do to come back and win this game if we do it we’ll win if we don’t we we going to lose and we did that what your thought perhaps on facing Dallas in the next round honestly I think this for us we just so happy about this moment we can’t even like think about the next moment I’m thinking about it but I would say for us we just got to if we continue to play Timberwolves basketball it will fix a lot of problem problems that we may have with that team and what they do best so as long as we play Timber branded basketball I think I like our chances for sure for both of you guys just what does it mean to go back to Target Center now you’re going to be hosting the Western Conference Finals in front of your fans just what this means for the organization in general I’m let you talk about that I only been here three years oh now you only been here three years um the fans have been waiting for this moment and this team has brought brought him this moment so you know it’s up to us now to capitalize on this opportunity and be the best team we could be and and like I said play timberwoods basketball every time the series we played timber wolves basketball we’ve had the result we’ve been looking for and every time we try to De deviate from that plan it hasn’t done well so to fans know what they want today was crazy but we was down 20 that wasn’t Timber basketball that was Park basketball then we started playing that was wolves basketball that then we started playing that was wolves now we play ttim wolves yes sir yes sir this is for either one of you guys it and usually in NBA history it says you have to lose and lose big before you win what is it about this team that says we lost last year yeah but that that that’s different you have to lose at a bigger stage usually teams usually it’s the playoffs we lost last year we lost the last two years God damn how much more we got to lose yeah how much you want us to lose we losing for 20 years I mean that’s just the truth dog god damn what makes what makes you guys believe that you guys don’t have to wait any longer that just getting past the second round isn’t the goal that you guys can win the next two rounds I think um and I think this is the biggest thing to answer that question it starts with our with our head coach Chris Finch um he comes in every day comes to work he gets there early he’s thinking of ways to get me and Cat open looks he’s thinking of ways to get Mike and Rudy open looks he’s thinking of ways to get Jaden involved he’s trying to keep Nas to get him involved he’s just a great coach and he don’t sugarcoat anything with anybody like if cat up he going to get on cat if I’m up he going to get on me if Rudy up he gonna get on anybody that’s messing up throughout the game and I think that’s what makes him the best coach in the NBA to me because no matter who it is no matter how high the player is on the pole he’s going to get on you from from start to finish and it starts with the head of the snake and he’s the head of of of our snake and um you know we all listen to him look up to him and he he does he do a great job of making sure we’re ready to go every night um guys uh I know this is uh something very special but what are your thoughts about that you are doing this 20 years uh later exactly than the first time that the Timberwolves were in a Western Conference Finals with kg I mean just shout out to kg happy birthday kg here’s your presentent from all of us it was birthday it was his birthday happy birthday my boy so I mean it’s special it’s special anytime you get a chance to do it but like you said to have a legend who led the Timberwolves like that and then come 20 years later and be able to be in the same situation that he was in I I think it’s very special thanks Ed McDaniels Western Conference uh what What’s the award that they give out oh they don’t give it out yet my bad yeah but regardless yeah Jay McDaniels was the MVP of the last two uh series um yeah once again he did it again yeah um Jamie Daniels he’s been three years s we hear a lot about how hard it is to repeat in the NBA I know it just happened for you guys but now that you’ve tried to do it um do you have any thoughts on what makes it so difficult to to do it back to back I mean I don’t know uh we didn’t accomplish that so I mean I don’t know it’s hard because the teams are more hungrier U Better talented uh than last year probably everybody get better everybody wants to beat us probably uh that’s my thought process probably Nicole obviously you guys went up pretty early in that third quarter and Lead ultimately dissipated just what happened in in the second half from your perspective I mean they were scoring they they they had a lot of offensive rebounds we we couldn’t make shot even I think we had a lot a lot of open looks uh wide open looks uh but that’s that’s what happens you know sometimes you make shots sometimes you miss shots and uh today I think we didn’t miss shots I think we miss a lot of good shots but you know that’s um not just on us they they played some good defense that’s why the number one defense in the NBA some of your teammates were just saying what makes this even more painful is the fact that you know it wasn’t a sweep they felt you were the better team and there’s so much talent on this team that they thought this was the team that could repeat is that what makes it with you perhaps sting more because of the talent on this team you know I don’t believe in believe in that I think the team humans is better team so you have a seven games so over best of seven so if someone beats you I think they’re the better team uh congrats to them like we we did we have a chances of course we did but uh in someone beats you I mean they’re just better Nia what will it take for you guys to get back to winning a championship again I mean some teams never beenn a championship again so uh I’m just glad that we had opportunity this year and we were we were in the in the horse racing spee we were in the microphone you know they were telling our names uh so we will see you know getting better uh Personnel wise getting better team wise getting better better coaching wise like you need to be especially right now what how many talented is league in the league is you just need to you just need to be basically perfect to win a championship Nicole kind of on that note what do you feel like you guys need more of or needed more of in order to win this series I mean we needed to make shots I mean I miss eight a3es uh where is the where I am oh I miss eight threes Jamal missed eight Mike missed five we were shooting eight for 24 in today’s basketball Air B C basketball is going without making any threes basically you canot win win the game um of course it’s a tough it’s a game seven uh you don’t make a lot of shots they didn’t make either one they made they were shooting 39% from the free from the field so but you know I think if you want to win you need to make shots Nicole I know it’s early on in the process but I was just wondering if you had any thoughts on the Serbian national team and the Olympics this summer I really I don’t know my friend we will see I need to think about it uh Nicole you mentioned sort of the rebounding stuff like that that that flipped in the second half of this game you guys had kind of dominated that in some of the hustle stats in the first half does when that flips so dramatically does does fatigue or exhaustion kind of play a part in the way it can go in second I mean it didn’t play for them so I don’t think I don’t think that you know sometimes you don’t box out sometimes it’s a luy bounce sometimes it’s a they want it more sometimes if we wanted more so I think that’s why basketball is great you you never know what’s going to happen Nico does it hurt any more that it ended on the home floor and that you guys I don’t know struggled a little bit at home in this series um I mean yes of course I mean you don’t want to lose in front of your fans but uh they were so so good to us so uh we were fighting we gave all our all best our all best so hopefully they’re going to appreciate it or not we will see next year NCA do you look at this temper wolves team as a as as a team that could become a rival of of you guys in the future I mean yes I mean I think they’re built to build to beat us in someone and just look at their roster they have basically two All Stars two uh probably first defensive players in the year Mike onlyy who is the most underrated player in the NBA probably I mean I love the guy he’s so good and he know he always makes the right right even he didn’t he didn’t shoot that well this uh this SE this uh what’s the name Series this game you know in one moment he was the leading rebounder in in the game for them so you know it’s um and they From the Bench they have a six player of the year they have a Kyle and and Walker who who was uh really good for them so one one team that he they can do little little literally everything they can be big small so anything else thank you pleasure my friend

  1. This is the whose you're daddy team. Always good to be humble and graceful when you lose and when you win.

  2. David Robinson never list a 20 pt lead in game 7. Neither did Robert Parrish or Bill Wennington. Jokic doesn’t really have the heart of a champion.

  3. Just when I think I couldn’t respect Ant Edwards any more. Smart, insightful, can read the game so well, makes sure to give his teammates credit over himself, self deprecating and seemingly no ego. He’s the real deal.

  4. Ant sittin up there lookin everybit of 16 years old that team gonna be around the playoffs for years to come man

  5. Jamesmurray, THE NUGGETS CAN ONLY LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND BLAME–THEMSELVES TEAMS GET THE WINNING RECORDS AND WORK HARD TO GET THE HOME–COURT ADVANTAGE, THEN DENVER LET THE WOLVES COME IN THE ARENA AT HOME IN FRONT OF THEIR CAPACITY–CROWDS, AND STEAL AND TAKE THE FIRST 2–GAMES FROM YOU, WITH THE WOLVES WINNING THE FIRST 2-GAMES IN DENVER, YOU,RE GONNA LOOSE AGAINST THE TEAM THAT,S THE NUMBER—1, DEFENSIVE TEAM THEN IN GAME 7-BLOW THE BIG LEADS, HOPEFULLY THE NUGGETS WILL HAVE LEARN SOMETHING FROM IT AND COMEBACK STRONG AND BETTER FOR IT NEXT–SEASON . (WHAT A CHOKE DENVER IS LETTING A YOUNG TEAM 🔥 WOLVES BEAT THEM IN DENVER.

  6. Oh wow. I stopped watching this game thinking the Nuggets won. I didn’t even want to watch the interviews. I had no idea Minnesota came back from that blowout.

  7. This years play offs re bonkers!!! THe league's current state and its future is fucking awesome! Kudos to both teams. I hope wolves go all the way to the ring,

  8. Mike Malone is a jerk I’m glad he lost. The wolves put him in his place. He is the reason his team lost with a 3 time MVP. NO REPEAT FOR YOU SIR. Set Down 🦽

  9. TIMBERWOLVES is going to go all the way! They are going to win their first championship! Their defense was awesome, especially contesting every shot!

  10. Definitely want to see Gianni’s and Jokic win another ring before it’s too late same with curry and bron victor will destroy the league soon

  11. Wow, crazy stats.. guess what, non of it meters no more! Just one stat, 9 points in 4th quoter… WTF!
    Better luck next year….

  12. Nuggets have atleast 6 years left. Idk if they can win another ring because of the competition, but they’ll definitely be a problem for any team going forward.

  13. Seems that the difference between this year and last is the bench. Maybe? I mean, this year's bench has often been criticized, but last year's not so much – Last year Nuggets had Bruce Brown and Jeff Green. This year, how did the bench improve from last year?

Am I on a right track? That is, Nuggets need more help off the bench. Christian Braun will surely improve as a what, 23 year old? But then how else will the bench improve? Perhaps we should expect a big trade in 2024 off-season to get needed help to capitalize on this great team (the starting 5) the Nuggets have NOW. – Or, will KCP, be expendable?

I'm not a guru fan but I welcome insight from you Nuggets fan-faithful – and those who know (respectfully) more than I. Dissing blowhards need not reply.
