Pacers conveniently positioned inactive players, in white shirts, in the corner as close to the court as possible. Great shot by JB, but how’s this allowed?

  1. The NBA shouldn’t allow this at all regardless of the team. Insane that those guys are inches from JB.

  2. Jamobill9999

Oh come on… that is some fairly innocent simple gamesmanship.

  3. This is why people hate Celtics fans. You’re whining about this??? Enjoy the shot JB made!!!

  4. Ok_Seaweed_9452

Just saw JT angle, he’s not even planning to rebound in case it misses lol

  5. ImDKingSama

I’m just in favor of moving the sidelines seats back in general, crazy how close all those people are.

  6. Fuckblackhorses

Meh, at least they’re behind the line unlike when we used to play the nick nurse raptors

  7. Initial_Dog5780

The concentration to hit that shot with Siakam giving him zero air space and clipping JB’s legs was phenomenal.

  8. GuyMcTest

I was thinking last night, how genius would it be for the home team to give out T-shirts to the court-side seats that just to happen to be the visiting teams colors?

  9. Original_Walrus19

Perfect position for them to watch JB drain the shot 🔥

  10. simpledeadwitches

They’re behind the line, how do you think this isn’t allowed?

We won, no need to go fishing for bullshit.

  11. PandasareBad

Jesus Christ you guys will complain about everything. The other team is allowed to have gamesmanship too.

  12. subtlemurktide

Absolute not and there is a rule somewhere about standing from the bench for prolonged periods, but ofc it’s never enforced and doubly so not against us.

  13. blinkincontest

It’s simple gamesmanship that I think makes the NBA pretty fun BUT I also think the penalty for one of those guys even grazing JBs jersey on the shot should be massive, unfortunately I don’t think it would be.

  14. saturntowater

Sad that’s the closest they got to playing all game

  15. TheFirstExecutioner

It’s gamesmanship. They’re not the first to do it and certainly won’t be the last

  16. dubble_chyn

It’s called gamesmanship. If the Celtics did it we’d be praising them

  17. hymen_destroyer

    They aren’t on the court.

Let’s not make a huge deal out of this

  18. Flaky_Value6753

Yeah just because they’re behind the line doesn’t mean you need to be right at it. I have an issue with everyone (players, cameramen, spectators) being so close to the court.

  19. This happens almost all the time in any close game. Active or inactive players. Right up there tight to the sideline.

  20. SteveOSS1987

Hot take: I love shit like this, and want my team to push limit of what’s allowed. If they let them stand right up to the line, then stand right up to the line. If they let bench players wear distracting shirts, then have the bench players wear distracting shirts.

  21. papicholula

Nick Nurse called he wants his gimmicky shenanigans back

  22. SnazzyMcGee01

Reminds me of last post season where Niang was able to slap JB on the leg while he was sitting on the bench, and there was no punishment from the league

  23. abadinfluencelol

Isn’t this part of the crew that T’d up Tatum for waving his hand after he didn’t get a call last series? What’s next, Tatum gets a T for rolling his eyes at the refs?

  24. Pacers didn’t know Jrue was in-bounding. They planned to fail

  25. Knicks fan checking in. In game 7 early when it got chippy a pacers bench player ran on the court and got in the fugaze scuffle. Ended in canceling techs with zero applied or mention to that random bench player on the court. These guys are infuriating, I hope you wax them in 4.
