Victor Wembanyama has been named to the 2023-24 Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team, becoming the first rookie to make first team All-Defense and the youngest in league history. The last NBA rookie named to an all-defensive team is Tim Duncan on the 1997-98 second team.

Wemby should have won the DPOY this season if some people were in the right state of mind. With all the historic defensive stats and highlights we saw this season how could such an individual award go to Gobert. Wemby can defend the post and perimeter all the time..Wemby was robbed of the award.
