Team performance determining an individual award is stupid, has always been stupid and will always be stupid. Players and coaches should be the only ones with votes. Imagine if your performance review was conducted by Debbie in accounting, the kid in the drive thru window, and your neighbor. That’s the real world equivalent of Jeff McDonald and friends voting on NBA players

I mean I love Victor. And I think if he had had an opportunity to play the entire year at center, he May very well have dragged us to closer to 30 wins, and averaged something closer to 23 points per game then the 21 and 1/2, which may have put him over the edge.
But all in all, as much as watching him this year was an absolute pleasure, I can’t see any one on that third team. I would definitively, without any bias, take off for Victor.
And if you do, take One off Tyrese maxey quite clearly needs to be the first guy jumping on one of those teams before Vic does.
His time will come but there were just a ton of amazing performances this season and he wasn’t quite there. And that’s okay

Sorry but I think finishing 2nd in DPOY while averaging 21 and 11 is enough to make a very strong case for an all nba team lol
