Im sorry but whos in charge of casting these votes again? Im genuinely curious

  2. Aaaaaaandyy

In a very weird spot. Well above the rest of the second team but still far from the first team.

Who’s the asshole who didn’t have him on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd? Should get all of his voting rights taken away.

We can argue about him vs Tatum, which IMHO is pretty close (though I’d ultimately give JB the nod for overall dawgness and leadership).

But what’s undeniable now is that Brunson is a top 6 player in the league. And that’s the level at which you can think about rings. The three things that champions most often have are

    1. A top 5-7 player
    2. A secondary scorer who’s a serious 20+ ppg threat
    3. Hard-nosed, athletic role players with a culture of scrapping and sharing the ball

From that POV we’re in the best position we’ve been in since 1973. The 90’s Knicks had a higher peak (so far) but suffered from having no one next to Ewing who could make it rain night in and night out (until Sprewell, and then Ewing and the team were past their peak).

Let’s congratulate Brunson for an amazing season in which he earned the highest votes for the second team instead of giving the media anymore attention for snubbing him from the first. A historic season and only the beginning for him that won’t be his last all star and all nba appearance

I had an argument with a guy earlier in the year who didn’t even consider Brunson to be a Top 25 player in the league. LOL.

  7. Jayson Tatum isn’t a scrub but imagine if we have him instead of Brunson would we beat the Sixers? I know this is a regular season award but I genuinely don’t think he would carry us over the Sixers.
