qu really oh nice I mean we improved uh our rebounding a lot uh since the trade deadline uh so everybody’s aggressive on defensive glass uh and we’ve been getting way better boxing out on the defensive end uh what do you see from Kyrie in the first half and and how critical was it for him to come out firing like that big time like I say you know he probably probably will be down 20 if he wouldn’t scor that many points uh so I appreciate him uh keeping us in the game and then fourth quarter you took over what got you rolling there and then uh also I want to ask you about the couple defensive stops you had there late oh the all defensive teams came out you didn’t get a vote I you know I I don’t know if you’re surprised by that next year so let’s start with what got you rolling uh offensively in the fourth I just said to myself you know we got to win this game uh I got to be way better uh because three quarters I I didn’t play good uh so I just came in the fourth uh get to my spot and Le the team to win then you have the steel on McDaniels and probably the first time in your life you ever broke up a lob take take us to that no it’s not you didn’t see my young young okay first time on a 10 foot Rim probably yeah so if you could if you could take us through those couple plays I mean just uh be active with my hands uh you know Jaden had it going a lot in the whole game he couldn’t miss basically uh so I had to do a little bit better job on him uh but that last play you know we trying to just see The Scouting scouting what people do uh so I just read the game you know I like to read the game look at you guys shot four corner threes it’s it’s pretty much the opposite of how Oklahoma City was playing you was really sticking to there how how different does it feel like did you feel the amount of space that that you had driving into the paint I mean they they’re known for collapsing the paint so uh I think we we can do a way better job of shooting the three getting open looks I think me and PJ had some open looks could have knock him down but we made the important ones uh I see we shot 24% from three you know uh we just got to give more open shots and keep keep shooting there’s a great shot and keep moving the ball you kind of said you made the important ones what was it just kind of sticking with it in that fourth quarter to get the ones you needed and the ones that mattered yeah just believe uh Stay Together uh every everybody believes uh in this team so uh you know we’re there down four uh we stay together and get a win and Luka how much confidence can you gain from that the fact that you guys did not shoot well from three and yet you still won here on the road against a tough team the way you did yeah it’s it’s pretty amazing but uh we still that’s only one game uh so we got to do we got to come back and try to play the same way knock down some shots and get another win if possible Luka we’ve seen you and Kyrie put up the kind of points combined that you have many times but when you guys are scoring like that how tough are you to beat as a team when you guys have it going like that yeah uh I mean it all depends uh how we playing on defense I think our defense uh could be way better uh I think we play today good defense but we can be way better and then with our prise you know we’ve been last year our point of view I mean in the preseason was to move to move the ball faster play with pace and I think we’ll be doing that fine luuka you talked earlier this postseason and battling through it about your quote Real Madrid DNA when you’re working on these comebacks in a game like tonight does any of that like youthful training come through in those moments what what is the effect there I mean definitely you know once you play there uh for many years and won I won there so it kind of stays with you and you know sometimes you just remember those beautiful moments when when you win and what it me to win luuka it seemed like you guys had a pretty aggressive game plan as far as guarding Anthony tonight like what was the thought process going into was it going to be anybody but him beating us no I mean he’s an amazing player uh you have to put multiple bodies on him uh you know if he’s going one onone it’s kind of tough to stop him uh he’s an amazing player so I think we did a great job on him uh but he’s going to come back stronger we got to be ready for everything uh because he’s he’s a number player that you know needs to see multiple body more guys first time you guys have won a game one little different feeling now going into game two now that you got the victory in game one I mean yeah but we got to be uh we got to stay the same way you know we can relax now do want game one uh we can’t relax we got to same we got to play with the same mental throughout the playoffs you faced some pretty aggressive on ball Defenders and you’ve effectively snaked into the Gap how important is it for you to be able to uh snake uh with contact to get to your spots yeah it’s very important that’s what I said in the fourth quarter you know I just trying to get to my spot and be confident in those shots so I just got to do it more thank you
