Man, they were really sad. ESPN really made the Knicks their pet team. It’s cute.
A Knicks team centered on Brunson which Brunson as the primary scorer is perfect. They are just good enough to make some noise, but nowhere near good enough to win it all. I like that journey for them.

To be fair, we were complete ass the last quarter of the season, intentionally lost to a lottery team to avoid Miami/Phila, and had to win our first round series in 7 games against a team objectively worse than Phila where most of the games were on NBA TV. We weren’t exactly the Showtime Lakers heading into our matchup with Boston and the media attention mostly reflected that.
