Chicago Bulls TRADING UP In The 2024 NBA Draft For Donovan Clingan & Alex Sarr? Rumors

[Music] what’s going on bulls fans welcome into the Bulls report coming up on today’s show I wanted to look at four trades that the Bulls could pull off with teams that have top five picks in this NBA draft could they be trading out for Donovan kingan could they go all in and get the number one pick with Alex R we’ll be looking at a couple of trades on today’s video but before we dive into it guys let’s get the good mojo we know the Bulls are one of the most boring teams in terms of making moves in all of major sports I want to get the Good Vibes going so if you want the Bulls to make a splash this summer drop a like on today’s show maybe somebody of the Bulls front office is watching this and uh maybe we can send them a little bit of a message to start off today’s uh program so drop to drop a like on today’s video if you want the Bulls to make a splash but trade idea number one has the Bulls Landing a top five pick in the NBA draft and it’s with our division rival the Detroit Pistons and they would be receiving Zack LaVine pick 11 and then the Bulls would be giving pick five and Isaiah Stewart now if you’re looking at this trade at face value you’re like the Bulls are getting screwed we’re you know giving up Zack leine for Isaiah Stewart to only move up necessarily six spots and I understand that but the best part of this trade is you’re moving off a moving off his contract and I think that’s you know besides moving off V moving off a is my top priority this summer now I do think the Pistons I think I could see them being one of the only teams that could potentially overpay for Zack ofena I’m not saying they’re overpaying in the trade we just showed you guys but I could see Detroit like just you know getting sick of being you know the bottom feeder of the NBA and we know Zack LaVine he’s a good basketball player do I think he contributes to winning you know at a high level no but he would be a definition of a good stats on a bad team guy and I could see him and Kate Cunningham getting the Pistons you know flirting with that playin tournament maybe be you know that 11th or 10 seed that’s right there when the NBA season ends and you know I was just looking at just overall Zack ofine trade destinations and it is going to be hard for the Bulls to move him this Summer to a true Contender just because of his contract and I don’t think you could win an NBA championship with Zack leavine on your roster making 40 plus million dolls unless you’re the San Antonio Spurs which we’ve talked about here on the channel where it’s like they could take advantage of wem’s rookie deal and overpay for an you know a hyper athletic three LEL scoring guard like Zack LaVine but in terms of a team that that is in the top five that could be interested in LaVine I think the Pistons are one of them so you know in that trade I just think Bulls are getting a top five pick they move up you know six spots you also get a center and Isaiah Stewart that I like as well but let’s get to the trade idea number two and that is with the Houston Rockets with the bulls getting the third pick Steph Adams but you are giving up Alex cruso and the 11th pick but hey you’re getting a top three draft pick and we’ll talk about the pick here in a second second but start off with Steven Adams um he did not play basketball last season but if you guys don’t know a little bit about his game he’s that prototypical hard screen setting Center great at diving to the rim great with his push shots uh if you guys were watching the Knicks playoff games this past season kind of reminds me of Isaiah hartstein a little bit in terms of just that big body probably not as good as protecting the rim as him but he does have some defensive ability and I think the Bulls like if you’re going to make a move this summer like I want them to get a defensive physical minded Center instead of Nicole vuvi who necessarily you know plays on the perimeter yes he’ll get in the low block every once in a while but I mean he took three four threes a game shooting them at 29% like that was just him shooting the Bulls offense in the foot over and over again but a guy like stepen Adams he would fit in the offense just do the dirty things and the Bulls need more guys like that especially in the front court and now on the rocket side of things I think they would be willing to give up pick three for Alex Caruso and I was talking to um couple guys here in the chat sports offices who are Rockets fans and they want just more winning players like they got all the talent they got the Jabari Smiths you know the jayen greens they got these young hyper athletic Wings who are kind of right there from taking that next step well how do you help them take that next step you get a guy that helps you on the margins and Caruso’s probably the best player in you know in the league in terms of that so I think the Rockets like they’re going to want to you know take a swing on winning players and then the Bulls like you could offer a guy like Alex Cru so I’d hate to give him up I love watching him play basketball he’s just you know like you guys see on screen he’s the definition of winning in my opinion and you know I just think where the Bulls are at right now I just don’t really think they have a need for Caruso and I think we need to you know shift to this youth movement and shift to the draft and build through there and that’s how we are going to get a championship Contender two more trades coming up in just a second but guys I’m going to be up in my draft cup Bridge here you know we talked about trades uh you know of other players in the NBA we talked about free agency rumors a lot but I’m going to be doing a lot more draft coverage here on the channel we’re also getting in this trade and listen Kyle kozma like he had a great year last year um you know I don’t know if he’s like the definition of a guy that was just putting up empty calories on a bad team but he had Buy far his best year of his career he was averaging damn near 22 points a game uh five rebounds four assists like he was having a very solid year for Washington also pretty efficient as well and you know he was had the most usage rate on that team last season he was getting most of the shots but the question is with a guy like Kyle kozma is this who Kyle kozma is like did he take that next step in his game where he could be an efficient 20o a game guy or is he just a good stats bad team guy like anytime I kind kind of get weary about trading you know for a player that had you know their best career year on a team that’s necessarily been a bottom feeder of the Eastern Conference over the last couple of seasons like is he just you know putting up a lot of shots and that’s why his production is so high and it’s kind of a fugazi but you know I think that’s the number one question you got to answer with Kyle kman is like this who he is now or is he just a good stats bad team guy but in terms of that trade trade idea number three if we could actually go that real quick I just want to look at real uh real quick text shout out to you um the best part of this trade is you’re moving off Nico vuich contract and yes I would hate giving up pick 11 no doubt about that because I actually think there are some good players the Bulls could get at that spot but man you’re getting a good player in kozma and you’re able to move off V and you know if for some reason the Bulls want to run it back again like KY kozman necessarily wouldn’t be a bad choice for them wouldn’t be what I want to do but hey just I saw that trade idea out there on the internet and wanted to give you guys my thoughts this one is wild um I’m I am really curious to see what you guys are going to have to say about this one this is not my trade idea I will put that out there first but I just I just knew this would get a reactions so would be the Bulls getting the number one overall pick in the draft and dejonte Murray so you’re getting a hall and then it would be the Hawks Atlanta getting Kobe white our pride Our Savior Alex cruso and pick 11 and listen I wanted to throw this trade up there because I knew it would get Bulls fans talking like that even the idea of trading Kobe white like Kobe white like finally a player who has developed in her own system and has you know really Bloss him into a borderline All-Star and I think he’s going to have an argument to make the All-Star team next season I wanted to throw this trade out there and just talk about it a little bit but hey the number one overall pick this year is going to be alexar and you know he is a Super Hyper athletic big super versatile really athletic on the outside as well moves his feet you know phenomenally for a big fellow but coming in at 7′ one 216 pounds has a 7 fo4 long wingspan he’s automatically right away going to be one of the best defensive players in the league my Pro Comp for him uh jiren Jackson Jr even just a little bit uh bigger but you know if he wants to meet that jiren Jackson level he’s going have to be a better shooter on the outside as why I have that list is one of his weaknesses but his by far biggest strength is defensive upside and you know if we’re looking at a couple players in the NBA right now like Giannis like Victor wanyama he’s coming up like Alex SAR I think you know day one he is going to be the number one wemi stopper because he is the only one physically with his physical profile that I believe is going to be able to hang with him and guys of the like of Giannis but you know this trade idea was wild you know you’re giving up Kobe white Alex Caruso pick 11 for dejon Murray and pick one would Atlanta even consider that probably not but I saw that out
