I get the infatuation with OG, I really do, he’s an incredible winning player. But Aaron Nesmith already fills that same role for us, despite being 2 years younger and on a $11M contract compared to the ~$35M+ contract OG is going to get this offseason. The only thing that OG has that Aaron does not is the league-wide respect of being a good defender (and the whistle that goes along with that), and it’s only a matter of time before Aaron gets that as well.

I think this is a good comparison. I would give the slight nod in skill/performance to OG, but Nesmith is much more durable and fits our offense very well. So yeah, I’d take another guy like that, but I’m very happy we have Nesmith.
