I’ve really thought about this we haven’t really gotten any negativity towards our way have we I mean I I mean look this is coming from somebody who does not watch First Take and uh Undisputed I don’t watch any of that I hate all of it it’s trash it’s garbage um but guys I don’t really think at least me paying attention to the YouTube sphere anyone being negative about the Spurs the only people that I’ve seen be negative towards the Spurs are Spurs fans which I guess Spurs fans would be the most skeptical technically but man we’ve been getting nothing but love just nothing but unadulterated love hopefully I said that right I don’t know that sounded kind of weird I want some n are we having fun yet all right so let’s take a look at what Gilbert arz has to say about Wim banama again for the 50th time oh my goodness man he this guy this guy has been so high on us I I’m I think that he’s a Spurs fan at this point honestly I I think he legitimately is a Spurs fan um so before we get the I’m vibing with the Dallas Mavericks at least for this first game just to take out the Timberwolves but I think overall I can see the Timberwolves taking over this series maybe even pretty convincingly it’s going to be a lot on Luca especially with that injury um that that he’s been dealing with and you know they they even saying like oh we would have sat him if it weren’t for the playoffs um I I just don’t know if he’s going to be able to take on all that especially with uh Edwards playing as out of his mind as he is and it’s kind of crazy because I’m starting to wonder those crazy comparisons that they throw out there they’re like oh he’s like Michael Jordan on all this stuff I I usually don’t buy into any of that okay I’m not going to buy into I’m not going to say that because you know Michael Jordan’s gon he’s the goat right is is Anthony ARS GNA be the goat I don’t I don’t know but I will say this I think he deserves a lot of love I mean basketball standpoint alone I think he deserves a lot of love and I’m really looking forward to the Rival that will inevitably happen between the Minnesota Timberwolves Minnesota Timberwolves and Victor wanyama it it’s going to be a beautiful site uh to see now I do think Victor will be a better player than than Edwards you know when it’s all said and done but right now man that dude is a killer and I felt this way since I saw him battle against job Morant in the playoffs was it two it might have been two years ago um I was like wow this guy is kind of serious he’s kind of scary uh I I feel the same way now like good God he he is he’s Cutthroat he’s Cutthroat you you love to see it love to see it all right anyways let’s go ahead and tap take up taper take a look at what Gilbert Arenas has to say about our San unanimous winner in first in cat in 2016 uh did wimy live up to the hype his rookie season T Doug the last number one pick the question is did wimy live up to the hype that’s a terrible question is that the framing of this okay okay just pointing it out had to think about it like he trying to he got so all their number one picks one Rook at a year yes okay somewhere a little bit older yeah they do good at draing fives yeah fours fives big man they they pretty good at that one don’t miss they don’t miss it [ __ ] that hey you know what yeah [ __ ] he going to be pretty yeah they don’t it’s like whenever there’s a top five it’s like somehow they always get it ain’t going to lie they B very well in that Lottery when there’s a nice big man coming inad generational change when they needed one right every time they needed one anytime they need Dave getting ready what we going to come on come out oh [ __ ] came into this season with a ton of hype did w live up to the hype his this is crazy question I think he exceeded I think he exceeded it yeah yeah we we talked about it in the summer before expectations he knocked it out the park knock the [ __ ] out the park where’s uh MCC we need MC here so he can say the Spurs are trash wm’s trash everybody’s trash pap should be fired where is he yeah his exhibit was dope that they did for Fanatics yeah how all the old uh rookies of the year uh sent a little message to him congratulating him and like you know push helping them push forward I guess I didn’t realize Jennings had a tattoo right here it it was pretty dope so we saw wimy did this rookie season what are your expectations for wimy in year two now making that jump from Rookie now too it’s going to be so nasty it’s going to be so filthy I mean he he’s such a sponge I I I think this next season he is really going to show out I don’t think there will be a sophomore slump I was waiting all season long for the uh welcome to the NBA moment and I I didn’t see it people thought that it would come against jish then they thought it would come against uh uh Giannis it did not it never it never showed up I mean it’s to be honest it’s it’s so hard to to really understand what he is what he has what his capability is because it’s it’s new right I mean when when he came they showed us all the the scorn and offensive ability he had the one-legged threes the the the shimmies and all that we never no one ever talked about the defensive part of it no one’s that’s no one even considered any of this right I it seems like they have not been watching Clan the Spurs fan okay we we’ve talked about we’ve talked about that PL it wasn’t just it wasn’t this channel everyone’s I I feel like a lot of people talked about this I don’t know look these look Gilbert Arenas and those guys I’m I’m I’m going to be a little uh charitable they have so many other uh topics to go over so many other teams to worry about than just the San Antonio Spurs obviously we were hyper fixated on wimy cuz that’s who we were tanking for um and you know they watch some highlights here and there but yeah yeah no defensively he he was yeah he was always a monster he he was he was ALS he was always pretty filthy the fact that he would just take up so much so much space that he can guard one through five like we we’ve talked about this before he came to the spur way before the Spurs before we even knew we were getting them so right so the fact that he he is today dominating the defensive side his offense is g to catch up so he’s going to take over there’s going to be a year where he runs the table on all accolades I feel like most people were thinking that defensively is what he’ll be able to lean on going to am I crazy to I’m pretty sure most people believe defensively he’ll be able to lean on that and then offensive it was kind of up in the air and he’s exceeded a lot of expectations offensively I think he he’s exceeded my expectations offensively knew what he was capable of obviously I was not expecting wimy to get like triple teams this season I was not expecting that and it happened often most of the time that’s where most young guys in rookie struggles on the defens side Mar his game so fast M he averaged three in point6 right and the game was moving a mile a minute probably for MH he aage 3.6 that is crazy that’s another block and a half when the game slow down when the game slow down you think get to five that’s crazy five blocks yeah he can do it he’ll be a five easy especially with this Pace in the league he’s a rookie and this is what he he a 3.6 as a rookie in the game like he don’t know how five he’ll do it play NBA basketball yet the last month and a half what we were seeing he was starting to figure it out like oh [ __ ] I can get this shot off I can do this defense I can give him a summer with getting stronger it’s gonna be nasty then if he go play in the Olympics that’s only going to help him coming into this yeah I I’ve C okay I like I like that uh Martin saying this cuz I I I heard a lot of people say that him going to the Olympics is actually going to take away from his abilities or take away from his growth and I do not agree with that at all right I mean he’s still going to be going against top tier competition I I don’t I don’t see how that would hurt all those reps in the Olympics so yeah it’s going to get scary it’s going to be scary next year no you ain’t going to have to wait like this is the thing people think it’s going to be another three four four years no it’s going to be next year like do you think he can like MVP type year I don’t know whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa no no no no wimy will not be MVP next year the the main reason why wimy it wimy won’t be MVP next year the same reason why he couldn’t get defensive player of the which is still dumb to me he couldn’t get defensive player of the year this year um it’s going to because it’s going to be because the team just isn’t good enough they’re not going to see him as an MVP I don’t think that the Spurs will be in the playoffs I think that we’ll be a play in team possibly but I I don’t think that we’ll be like a Bonafide play playoff team or anything with the team win I don’t know what s put around you know how that [ __ ] is but a 21 11 how many assist you say oh he mentioned what I said about the winning um five uh three close to four 3.9 four assists three and a half blocks how many steals let me pull it up [ __ ] problem it’s a young 19y old problem that we have right before eyes like that shoe that they they what they call he’s 20 right isn’t he 20 is hey Alexa how old is Victor W banama Victor wanyama is years old and born I don’t care where he was born alien got a freak we had a fre first right now we got the now we got an alien and what what he can possibly be doing in this league in the next three four years like is like like you just saying ain’t nobody seen it y like nobody have seen somebody dominate both sides of the ball like you could possibly do in this NBA the way he can shoot it it’s going to get better this is going to be great this is going to be great all right no more hold we’ll we’ll listen to what we listen to something else that Gilbert Reus has to say then we’ll get out of here I don’t want to steal their whole content here let’s see what Gilbert has to say that can let’s let’s say he does get a Trey young over there oh my God right MVP hey sh if you got a James Harden over there you’re talking about a guy who’s to put so much pressure on these little lobs right here you think about the the the capellas they be getting those easy little buckets scoring like I’ve realized something with the Spurs lobs are not as easy as I thought I I seriously they are not as easy as I thought it is a legitimate skill I I think I think a lot of us have 2K brain all right we’ve been playing too much 2K um because they they look extraordinarily difficult um you would think every single NBA player can do them that is not the case uh I mean they miss him all the freaking in time and and when they do get a lob sometimes it’s just filthy I mean not filthy in a good way filthy as in like ugly even TR let’s be honest here okay Trey Jones is a fine player okay fine system player bench you know point guard he that that’s what he is right even his lobs weren’t the prettiest and everybody praised him for lobing so it kind of shows how difficult it actually is uh to to lob in the NBA make a perfect uh beautiful lob it’s tough 15 on little [ __ ] like that what happens when you have a real talent who’s getting those plus his own offense because he getting five lives a game for Trey young yeah just say young he’s getting at least five a game and that’s 10 right there that’s 10 points can’t nobody get to it no all he got to do listen he get them up what you going to do either Tre going average 50 or that’s that is true though he really just needs a guard he really just needs a a guard who can score past the ball cuz it’s going to be really difficult it’s like you got to pick your poison right like it pick and rolls are going to be just ridiculous it’s just not going to be fair at all uh but yeah as far as the Trey Young Thing guys I I don’t know if that’s I know for a fact that the Spurs are going to inquire about it obviously right they they are going to ask um but how things are panning out I don’t know if Trey young is still a reality I don’t know if that’s still a thing so we probably need to start backing off that a little bit is going to be one of the two cuz he going to be floating [ __ ] he going what’s so funny is how we know wil scor isun it can be the same way run straight down I’m just going to throw it all the way up I’m not going it ain’t going to be one of those St going to be [ __ ] all the way up there the only person get it it’s either that or I’m SC and and the crazy thing about it is wmy has such good touch around the rim um that it can be a ugly you know lob sometimes when you just toss it up you know it’s so many bad lobs he’s got in this season and he still managed to finish them and they weren’t just like dunks I mean it it was just I don’t know just just pure skill um but anyways yeah guys check out uh Gil Arena’s podcast they have been so complimentary towards our San Antonio Spurs it’s been crazy hold on let’s see let’s see we just go to videos I don’t know how often they talk about us but every time I catch it it’s pretty complimentary I think the last thing they said about the Spurs was that uh there was a snub that went we got snubbed I’m pretty sure um I love their thumbnails by the way maybe I need to start adopting that oh and also wait didn’t they talk about okay I don’t I don’t know if they talked about oh yeah they did they did uh so they talked about bronnie guys Brony things aren’t looking good with bronny right now I know some spurs fans like wouldn’t it be cool if we got bronny and then we got LeBron and that guys that’s probably not going to be a reality and right now um they’re saying he could potentially go undrafted don’t know if that’ll happened but uh yeah Scouts are not high on him right now they they’ve been very critical and he’s probably not NBA ready so yeah you probably need to just go and give up on those dreams okay that that’s that’s probably not going to uh happen
