NBA teams have have contract uh stipulation or contracts have stipulations dependent on whether or not players get voted into an all NBA team which I think is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life uh but anyway here’s the list of all three of the all NBA teams that were voted in by the media so yeah I mean legitimately guys like Bill Simmons hardcore Celtics fan gets a vote and has a a say and actually has influence on how much money Tyrese Maxi for example makes on his next contract isn’t that insane anyway here’s the three teams man and let’s let’s just look at it maybe try to decide you know who we could have put Tyrese maxi over uh if we were going to argue that he should be on one of these three teams team one SGA Nicole hiic Luca donic gianis Santi Dumbo Jason Tatum I know it’s a regular season award uh the there’s these are teams too so he could only be over three guards right and three guards and two forwards just like the All-Star team so I couldn’t Jason Tatum first team first team Jason Tatum I don’t know about all that I don’t know about all that Jason Tatum’s great player do I wish the Sixers somehow could have ended up with Jason Tatum instead of Marquel fton that draft sure but first team Jason Tatum I don’t think he had that level of a season uh plus you know you’re on the most stacked roster in the entire NBA but you know whatever Boston was a number one seed and they are he’s the leading scorer on the number one seed and uh without real context I guess Jason Tatum’s first team anyway second team Jaylen Brunson Anthony Edwards Kevin Durant kawii Leonard Anthony Davis uh could you put Maxi over Durant Kawai or Jaylen Bronson well I guess Kawai is listed as a forward here Durant’s listed as a forward here I don’t know because Anthony Edwards is in there uh yes or no in the chat could you put Maxi over Brunson Edwards Durant or Kawai I I I guess I agree with this second team I will say this if Tyrese Maxi got the whistle then that Jaylen Brunson gets he would have averaged 32 points per game this NBA season and he probably would have been in this first team um it’s no longer front Court back court positionist all NBA now I I guess they say it’s position lless but if you look at the teams they still really picked you know would D Manis sabonis be on there if it was position you know what I’m saying so I understand what you’re saying there’s no point guard shooting guard small forward power forward Center but they still definitely made sure they put two big guys on each team um no over Brunson maybe Durant uh Maxi over Steph over Kawai probably I’m putting Maxi over halberton in the third team I’m not going to lie I’m trying to be no bias as hell could have been him over Brunson or Halbert um I guess that you know the Joel em be injury affected it too because then the Sixers ended up in the e seed and then it looks like yeah Maxi put up points but his team was in the eighth seed so did he lead the team the way Brunson LED his team or the way Tatum LED his team without context of course so I see that too uh third team is the one where he could have snuck in there Steph Curry got voted in off of his name I’m not saying he had a terrible season but the Golden State Warriors you know what I’m saying didn’t they lose into playin didn’t the Warriors lose into playin if I remember remind me in the chat so you know Maxi could have been over Steph Curry and on the third team I do think that halberton I understand that stats don’t tell everything you can’t just look at his points per game or whatever Tyrese halberton uh changed the Indiana Pacers you know what I’m saying soon as they made that trade Tyrese halberton took the Pacers from nothing to something he’s an incredible just floor General facilitator at a young age so I don’t never hate tyres Halbert and getting respect because this his stats don’t always stand out but the way that he plays the game made the Pacers a nobody from a nobody to a somebody so I like Tyrese halberton in there Devin Booker name good season good scoring output but the the suns are are one of the biggest flops in the NBA this season uh and then they win then they go and get swept in the first round you know what I’m saying fully healthy they get they go and get swept in the first round not that this is a playoff award it’s a regular season award but you know Durant being in the second team and Booker being on the third team of a of Phoenix who like I said I think is one of the biggest disappointments in in the NBA this season I think that’s a little much so I think Maxi could have snuck in the third team there maybe over Booker maybe over step but close call and those guys also get voted in by their name Max is still not getting that respect in the NBA uh I’d rather have Devin Booker over Tyrese Maxi any day of the week well a I want to let you know Tyrese Maxi uh saved the 76ers in a playoff game against the New York Knicks with a 47o performance Devin Booker even with a air quote super team did not save the Phoenix Suns in a playoff game at all because they did not win a single playoff game Who impacts a team more Tyrese Maxi or Devin Booker or Devon Booker’s stats a little bit empty I don’t know you tell me that’s just my argument to that comment uh uh so yeah there it is I I’m not upset that Maxi is not in you would also have to have a coach and a GM who believes that you should play a rookie in the playoffs which uh Nick nurse and and and Daryl Murray don’t don’t seem like they think that’s a thing you should do so even if you draft a guy he’s going to get zero minutes right uh yeah does it really be the players or the people Gathering does it really be the players or are the people Gathering the players way the media is talking about this draft was saying the exact same thing in 2020 and look what happened what happened in 2020 Anthony Edwards it was Anthony Edwards right I mean but yeah
