I believe Giannis signed an extension this past offseason when he could’ve waited until this upcoming summer to sign for much more.

I will never expect or even want a player to take a lesser contract than is offered or deserved. At the end of the day, teams are essentially giant corporations, and players shouldn’t prioritize helping them over setting up generational wealth for their family.
