Woj explains why Cavs firing J.B. Bickerstaff could mean for Donovan Mitchell’s future in Cleveland
you reported earlier wo that the Cavaliers have parted ways with head coach JB bicker staff this is the third head coach that’s made it to the playoffs that was dismissed this off seon so let’s talk a little bit about this it feels like everything in Cleveland right now it’s looked through the prism of Donovan Mitchell what impact does this have on his future well Donovan Mitchell’s future in Cleveland is certainly the biggest order of business for this organization this summer you know he’s eligible for an extension he could become a free agent after next season I talked to Donovan Mitchell you know the afternoon after their season ended against the Celtics number one he told me that he is happy in Cleveland he’s been happy in Cleveland and that there’s going to be time this spring for he and his agent to start those conversations with Cleveland uh about his future but the one thing that he was leaving the season as in his words were uh being very determined this team got to the conference semifinals uh he wants to see them go further and JB bicker staff losing started at 22 wins as head coach gets to the conference semifinal you know he resurrected this franchise developed their young Talent they think another coach could help get them further in the postseason one name to watch in this coaching search Golden State assistant Kenny ainson he coached both uh Carris Levert Jared Allen from the Cavs while he was in Brooklyn and got them to the playoffs and one other coaching search going on the Lakers one point that Rob Pena Genie bus are making to candidates is that this job is going to be one in the interview that they are not coming into this with any real preconceived ideas listen there there’s a lot of candidates candidates in the search they don’t know very well and that’s why they’re taking their time to go through it get to know them better but there’s no obvious choice for the Lakers and they keep emphasizing to this entire group you’re going to win this job in the interviews and that’s why they’ll be candidates who are going to go through several interviews before they make a decision right because it feels like there’s no real veteran coach that would be the natural fit here for the Los Angeles Lakers and so the interviews get underway and W will keep us a breast every step of the way thank you so very much [Music] [Applause] Adrian NBA on is

HOW DID LAKERS GET BROUGHT UP IN CONVERSATION?
LEBRON EFFECT IS REAL
Im distracted by how good Malika looks in that dress 😅
the firing of coaches in the league is disturbing as a fan especially if players are instrumental in that decision. sowing and reaping is real, no accountability other than coaches. 🤔
Coaches are scapegoats
I wonder who Cleveland will hire?
I wonder who JB will be an assistant for?
Im just amazed toward on malika dress ❤❤
Cavs chose Donovan Mitchell over JB bickerstaff
If he doesn't get a head coaching job, I see him in Orlando as an assistant
Lebum's a defensive guy who can block your shot off the backboard, not a great shooter, not a clutch take over guy (irving hit the biggest shot of 2016), he's more of a passerpoint guard than a natural scorer. And hes got the nose as well.
He's the PippenRobin to Irving's BatmanJordan. Bubble AD was also batman. And SpoWade been to 3 finals without Lebum like CurryKerr without KD.
Not sure why Lebum is always duping the media.
Since Irving demanded a trade from Lebum, can you tell me which player since that time has won a west conference finals game in front of fans???
hahahahahhaaaa
Surprised he lasted 5 season
Lakers don’t sign him
Donovan should ask for a trade to the Lakers in order to have the best chance of winning a ring. He can't get one in Cleveland.
