Been floating this hypothetical trade last couple days as it just makes too much sense for all parties. Lakers get Murray/Okongwu. Hawks get Rui/Gabe/2 FRP’s. Nets get Dlo. Nets got a trade exception large enough to absorb Dlo if he opts in. Nets would then have Dlo’s bird rights and can re-sign him next offseaon (obviously up to Dlo to opt in though). Lakers don’t have to worry about a first apron hard cap (only second apron) so super easy to re-sign Max and fill out the roster even with a tp-mle. Hawks get 2 FRP’s, save $11m which helps them get under the luxury tax, and opens up space for the potential Sarr pick. Probably 2nd round picks and swaps involved too.

Isn’t Schroder still with the Nets? I can’t imagine D’Lo wanting to play with Schroder according to the report last year unless that was solely all on Ham

Dlo opts in or resigns at 20.6M (spencer’s TE) and we get back Sharpe and DFS
Trade 2:
Rui and Gabe + JHS or picks or swaps for DJM
End Result:
AD / Sharpe // Hayes Bron / Vando / DFS // Wood // Lewis // Reddish DJM / AR / Christie // CP3
We essentially trade out Dlo/Rui/Gabe and get back DJM/DFS/Sharpe.
An athletic guard, a 3&D wing and a big man (sharpe’s got some heft to him).

Only way D’lo is traded is if he cant get a deal in FA better than his opt in. They won’t sign and trade him because it hard caps us at second apron and makes it incredibly difficult to fill out the team.
