When Jaylen Brown Gets MAD…THIS Happens

n Smith all over Tatum Tatum finds some room can’t finish the tip won’t go still fighting and holiday comes up with it Jaylen Brown of three the Celtics knew that they had to come out strong in this one if they wanted to avoid another nailbiter similar to game one so in the second quarter Boston came out furiously playing some bone crushing defense not giving anything easy to Indiana while attacking the rim on the other end they don’t get back defensively and Al Horford Gets behind the defense and an easy bucket to tie it he can punish switches Brown punishes from downtown his second three-pointer H up top Tatum drives goes inside left-handed B Bost it up 15 timeout Indiana the Celtics went on a 170 run to start the second quarter playing with great energy not forcing anything sharing the ball and always looking for the best possible shot white gets a clean look three-pointer shots good everybody touched it on that position Jaylen Brown was Ultra aggressive in this game as he used every mismatch he got against smaller guards to bully his way inside resulting in a bucket or a foul round fouled shot won’t go mcconell picks up his second Alo to Brown Banks it in on a gorgeous feed from holiday remember the pace just fell behind the Brown gets inside he’s fouled at times it looked like the big brother was playing against the little brother just look at this possession first we got hor grabbing the offensive rebound after his Miss and then on the three-point shot by Hower Jaylen sneaks in between three Pacers for another offensive Rebound in the putback layup but it was the smothering defense of the Celtics in this time span that really sparked this run as they forced Indiana to shoot 0 for8 at the start of the second quarter Alberton finds a spot three-pointer back of the rim won’t go it’s now 4 and 1/2 minutes without a point here in the second quarter for Indiana the Pacers went an entire six minutes without scoring a single field goal with NM finally breaking the drought with this three-pointer so with things developing as they did this had the potential of being a 30-point blowout but in a stunning turn of events the Pacers rebounded from the six-minute debacle and started making a run of their own towards the end of the half sakam good move there sakam first Pacer in double figures with 10 as sakam works against Brown pulls up Chopper’s good cakam coming alive cakam put the Pacers on his back and scored 10 straight points to make this a single digigit deficit and then shot clock turned off seak finds some room goes inside and throws it down poor defense that time from Boston and just like that it’s only a six-point game so coming out of the break Indiana continued their attack and with some more seaka magic this was a two-point game in the third quarter now sakam turn shoots scores again Pascal sakam redot Unstoppable right now sakam has 26 points he already has 10 here in the third but then the worst nightmare came true for Pacers fans Tyrese halberton back in the Pacers locker room he will not return we’re told that he is back with the training staff they’re calling it a left leg soreness again he is done for the night halberton re-injures the same hamstring that bother him for much of the season and this is huge not only for this game but the rest of the series as well and meanwhile Boston uses the opportunity to go on another big run Corner three it’s good brown with the answer spectacular Brown the pass and brette throws it down timeout Pacers the lead back up to 11 Brown comes up with a steel B pass from cakam here’s Brown goes up foul from behind counted at one the crowd explodes and the lead keeps increasing the Celtics finish the third quarter up by 13 and when everyone expected a response by Indiana in the fourth quarter something completely unexpected happened Rick Carlile took out most of the starter with 8 and 1 12 minutes to go in this game and never put him back in there is still a ton of time left for a 13-point deficit but he basically waved the White Flag extremely early unbelievable this might have had something to do with halton’s injury and Carlile knowing that he probably wouldn’t be able to play in game three so he wanted to preserve the rest of his players as much as possible for what’s about to be a Do or Die matchup back in Indiana on raid game the app that I’m a part of we raid each game by how good it is and I gave this one a 6.3 but I agree with Cerna this might be a sweep especially now with halberton possibly being out for the rest of the series the Celtics secured this win in a relaxed fashion at the end and now they pretty much have the NBA Finals within reach on the contrary the West finals are an absolute bloodbath and just yesterday we saw what happened to Edwards when he tried to challenge Kyrie and it completely backfired on him you got to check out exactly what happened right here talk to you in the next one peace out

Boston knew that they had to come out strong in this one if they wanted to avoid another nail biter that took place in game 1. So in the second quarter Boston came out furiously, playing some bone crushing defense,
not giving anything easy to Indiana while attacking the rim on the other end.
The Celtics went on a 17-0 run to start the 2nd quarter, playing with great energy, not forcing anything, sharing the ball and always looking for the best possible shot.
Jaylen Brown was ultra aggressive in this game, as he used every mismatch he got against smaller guards to bully his way inside, resulting in a bucket or a foul.
At times it looked like the big brother was playing against his little brother.
Just look at this possession, first we got Horford grabbing the offensive rebound after his miss, and then on the 3PT shot by Hauser, Jaylen sneaks in between 3 Pacers for another offensive rebound and the putback layup.
But it was the smothering defense of the Celtics in this time span that really sparked this run, as they forced Indiana to shoot 0 for 8 at the start of the 2nd quarter. (HALI 3KA 7:37 filer)
The Pacers went an entire 6 minutes without scoring a single field goal, with Nesmith finally breaking the drought with this 3 pointer.
With things developing as they did, this had the potential of being a 30 point blowout.
But in a stunning turn of events, the Pacers rebounded from this 6 minute debacle and started making a run of their own towards the end of the half.
Siakam put the Pacers on his back and scored 10 straight points to make this a single digit deficit. And then…
And just like that, it’s only a 6 point game.
So coming out of the break, Indiana continued their attack and with some more Siakam magic, this was a 2 point game in the third quarter.
But then, the worst nightmare came true for Pacers fans.
Haliburton re-injures the same hamstring that bothered him for much of the season, and this is huge not only for this game, but the rest of the series as well.
And meanwhile, Boston uses the opportunity to go on another big run.
The crowd explodes and the lead keeps increasing. The Celtics finish the third quarter up by 13.
And when everyone expected a response by Indiana in the 4th quarter, something completely unexpected happened.
Rick Carlisle took out most of the starters with 8 and a half minutes to go in this game, and never put them back in. There is still a ton of time left for a 13 point deficit, but he basically waived the white flag extremely early.
This might have had something to do with Halliburton’s injury, and Carlisle knowing that he probably wouldn’t be able to play in game 3, so he wanted to preserve the rest of his players as much as possible for what’s about to be a do or die matchup back in Indiana.
On rategame, the app that I’m a part of, we rate each game by how good it is, and I gave this one a 6.3. But I agree with Srna, this might be a sweep especially now with Haliburton possibly being out for the rest of the series.
The Celtics secure this win in a relaxed fashion at the end, and now they pretty much have the NBA finals within reach.
On the contrary, the west finals are an absolute bloodbath. And just yesterday we saw what happened to Edwards when he tried to challenge Kyrie and it completely backfired on him.
You gotta check out exactly what happened right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.

  1. Pacers taste their own medicine winning round 1 and 2 for all injured players lol now haliburton is injured

  2. i think Mavs will beat Bostron in finnals i think they are just a better team have a better center better super star and a better star better defense

  3. I'm a Boston fan and I'm not happy with the way they won, it was really concerning how fast they blow a 10 pts lead and it took the pacers to perform one of the biggest fumbling jobs in recent history for them to win…. In all honesty I don't think they're winning it this year with this roaster

  4. Pacers finally going against a healthy team and they're finding out that they have no business being in the ECF- Edit- Actually the Celtics don't KP so they're not healthy either lol

  5. It will be hilarious looking back from the next regular season, in RateGame, how underrated these games are (I1m talking about the "this wasn't an exciting game, Team A won by a 10 point "blow-out" =5.3). The players go all out, try to play defense, hustle for rebounds. What will the rating be for a random regular season game? 2 or 3?

  6. The east is pretty weak. Boston can be good, but inconsistent. They have a great chance to win if they sweep the pacers. WCF could go to 7 and Celtics would be well rested

  7. jayson tatum fanboys: "the only reason why brown drop 40pts is because tatum draw double and triple team which allows brown to get all the open shots or go 1v1 or 1v0"

man these tatum fanboys need to go man…

  8. It will be hilarious looking back from the next regular season, how underrated in RateGames some of these play-off games are (I'm talking about the "This wasn't a very exciting game, Team A won by a 10 point "blow-out" = 5.7" games). The players go all out, try to play good defense, and hustle for rebounds, they want to win. What will be the rating of a random game next season? 2-3?

  9. How do you reaggravate a sore hamstring?! Lol. A sore hamstring heals if given rest. Lol. The stress over time dissipates.

  10. This was never going to be a close series, even without Porzingis. Haliburton going out with ham soreness just meant our bets on whether Pacers win 1 or 2 games are now moot. Sweep.

  11. Ngl looks like this ECF is an NBA skit. That's why I don't want to waste my time watching the ECF. 😂 Tyrese gone injury. Gtfo

  12. someone i have to point out oshae brisset he was a plus 18 on the court and his activity was felt last night especially on defense

  13. The RateGame app is so much fun!! Great video. Im not seeing good basketball from the teams. Too many injuries, no game!

  14. I mean, at the end of the day, all Celtics did, was win their 2 home games. Which has to be expected and they won game 1 only barely because the Pacers choked. We'll see how this series goes..

  15. The east is weak, this doesn’t mean anything.
Pacers are injured, C’s should have won by more.
Pacers are young, C’s should have won by more.
    Boston will choke anyway
    Just shows Tatum is overrated
    Tatum didn’t show up/choked/something
Mavs/Wolves/anyone from the west will sweep
Boston will loose regardless because it’s Boston and no one likes Boston except Boston fans.
This win was a fluke, Pacers in 6.
Mazzula can’t coach, he’s too young/inexperienced/kicked my dog.
The Refs won the game for them. It’s rigged/it’s a conspiracy.

    Have I missed any?

  16. Finally. Some aggression from Brown and Tatum. Sometimes, they forget they are match up nightmares based on their size alone.

  17. Pascal has been the best player for Pacers,Hali just hasn’t been himself. Crazy but true: Pascal Siakam is the first player in NBA history with 50+ PTS & 0 FTA in the first two games of a Conference Finals series.
    📊 26.0 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 4.5 APG, 25/40 FGM – 62.5 FG%, 0 FTA
Straight buckets! ZERO FREE-THROWS! If Hali doesn’t come back anytime soon this series over or even if he does come back this series will be walk in the park for the Celtics🥲 East has been hit with so many injuries this playoffs.

  18. Correction Playoff Jimmy is finally injured come playoffs…wait, so were the Knicks AND Spida Aaand now Haliburton🤔

  19. Celtics are a contender for like 4years and always come out short. Lets be honest now – Pacers have no place in C Finals. Lucky Celtics. Poor Bucks.
