when you playing with Kobe you know initially I asked for a trade I told I said I don’t think I could be here I had to submit to that I had to be like all right cool it’s over I’m not there’s no numbers to put up and I’m playing with Kobe so as I’m going through everything I’m just like I actually really like being here I really like being with Kobe M I’m just going to be the best role player I could be at this point in my Prime every game that he didn’t play I average 19 I had to actually go back and tally it all up cuz I was a questioning myself I’m at home like damn I’m really garbage I said hold let me look at these stats I said damn I’m average 18.9 you was like I do that it was about 20 games I knew I was nice it’s knew I was it’s just cold

Haters will hate but true fans know that Ron stepped up in game 7. The Lakers were down by 20 at one point, The Mamba was having a bad shooting night but he was playing lockdown Defense and going up in the trees for rebounds. Ron’s 3 was the dagger. He’s beloved in my book for that performance alone.
