Why is the next step to be equal with the men's league? The focus should be on the organic growth of the WNBA. The equality will come. Equality should be the resultant, not the focus. You cannot grow the WNBA with equality as your mission statement. The focus has to be on the organic growth of the league. Men are the greatest consumers of sports and this talk of why don't we have equal investment is a turnoff for men. It says that we should give the WNBA a pass and they don't have to make the game more entertaining, they don't have to focus on organic growth. This is actually what is hurting the WNBA over its history. I need to be the WNBA commissioner

Huskies is the easy pick, built in brand decisions and recognition. An all white jersey kit would be slick. I would vote for something completely new though, like the 905 and Memphis Hustle etc. did in the G-League.

Heard about this a a couple of weeks ago and while it should have happened years ago, better late than never. Should be called Tkaronto (honours the native name of Toronto). Followed by a native animal of Ottawa like Bears, Wolves or Deer (White-Tailed). Should be playing at the Air Canada centre though, as it’s the home of indoor sport.

The NBA owns the WNBA and funds it. The WNBA has never made a profit. Since they began in 1996, every year they have lost money. So the NBA just keeps pouring tens of millions of dollars into this loser league to keep it going.
Nobody cares that Toronto is getting a WNBA team. Nobody will attend the games, nobody will watch it on TV. Unless they lower the height of the net and allow woman to dunk, it will always remain a money losing, loser league. Always.
