CHICAGO BULLS potential BIG TIME off-season moves

After watching the Minnesota Timberwolves seemingly “give up” on KAT in favor of Naz Reid, I believe there is a GREAT possibility for the Chicago Bulls to make a splash move in the offseason. I see a potential sign and trade with Patrick Williams, the 12th OVR pick and the young Buck from Tennessee Julian Phillips. Phillips+Williams are both tall, long perimeter defenders with catch and shoot ability. Both fit the Minnesota Timberwolves identity. Don’t be surprised if Zach Lavine is involved either.

If they decide to keep KAT, I could see the Bulls pursuing ANOTHER former 1st overall pick in Zion Williamson. (Remember the video from last year that a fan took of Zion approaching a bulls assistant) the assistant said “I heard you wanna come play for us” to which Williamson said “ Woah don’t say it out loud”

Both guys are on loaded playoff teams in the west, I think BOTH would love to come to a fringe playoff team in the East where they can have a much expanded offensive role.

Zion would play 10 games a year spend all his time eating Italian beef and deep dish

Besides the cap issues that wouldn’t allow these trades to happen I want NOTHING to do with KAT or his massive salary. The same people ripping on Zach turn around and want this guy? I’ll take Zach over KAT

  3. I don’t think any of these guys lead to us becoming a top 3 seed. What’s the point

  4. I really don’t want Kat on this team, we don’t have an Antman to keep his soft ass in line

I was shopping this idea before playoffs and I feel it is now tougher to get Kat from Minnesota, as he as emerged as a key cog in their playoff success. As flawed as Kat is, he’s also everything we want Vuc to be. He’s under 30, he is one of the best shooting big men, especially from 3, he’s a decent defender in both pick and roll and post, and he is a good finisher in the post (he’s just about as good as Vuc).

He’s not a 1a super stat, maybe not even a proper number 2 option, but the bulls just needed Vuc to be a third option and he couldn’t do it… Kat could.

That said… I’m not sure lavine is now enough to obtain Kat.

Hard pass on Zion. Not being able to stay in shape is a massive red flag.

Don’t want either, to be honest.

I know all trade ideas are instantly shit down on this sub, but I honestly believe this isn’t a bad one.
