There is “real concern” from the Pacers about Tyrese Haliburton’s availability and potential impact the remainder of the Eastern Conference Finals, per @wojespn. Haliburton will do everything he can to play against the Celtics, but it’s a very likely scenario he will be nowhere close to 100%.

Of course he will give it a shot…..he’s under contract until 2029. It’s not like Mitchell who is a year off and potentially wanting to move. If he tears his hamstring open, it might heal in time for next season

If he plays hunt him down with every play.

    need to be ruthless.

He isn’t even that good to be worth playing when injuried. Better for us I guess. If it was Doncic I’d be a little more worried.

Sounds like propaganda. Inb4 Hali goes for 60

All this dosen’t matter if we just play our game and defend!

  6. He secured the bag, don’t risk your health.

But this also is probably the closest the Pacers get to Finals with Haliburton.

If there’s truly “real concern” about his availability then there’s no way he plays tonight

wouldn’t surprise me if he tries to play or at the very least game 4

  9. He’s offering basically no resistance to anyone he guards.

What’s that gonna look like if he plays and is only 75%?

Let Jrue work him over every second he’s in the game

There is a near 0% chance Haliburton plays any minutes the rest of this series. Hamstring injuries are incredibly fickle and prone to flare up/reinjury.

Ugh I know I’m already exhausted of what will be the “WILL POOR INJURED HALI DEFEAT THE MONSTERS” narrative

  12. Imo, it is incredibly dangerous and stupid to have him play (when they’re down 0-2) if he has reinjured his hamstring – why risk your franchise players long term health and career???

If he plays tonight I think he will be so drugged up he might have a 50 pt triple double

Either way, healthy or not, the game plan is always to attack weak defenders, and he’s always been a bad defender.

Hamstring strains take time to heal, and get worse if you overdo it.

I think this is gamesmanship from the Pacers, I feel like we won’t see him again

Pacers should shut him down if they lose tonight. (And they’re gonna lose tonight.) He’s already played through injury to get here and they are going to pay him this summer and he’s on the National Team roster.

    Don’t go chasing waterfalls.
