Celtics-Pacers Game 3 Reaction: Jrue Holiday is NOT AFRAID OF THE MOMENT – Perk | SportsCenter

a Celtics fan your instant analysis and what holiday did again he was Ill but he came up so big late defensively and offensively well and that’s why he got paid the big bucks look zo we have to remember Drew holiday is a champion he won a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks and his you don’t look at the box score when you look at what Drew holiday brings to the table he’s going to strap down defensively he’s going to play the right way on the offensive end and he’s a great rebounding guard one of the the best in the league and he’s not afraid of the moment and he’s not afraid to play through contact and when you need him the most he’s going to step up to the plate he stays pause he stay under control and his leadership is underrated we were chatting back and forth throughout the game and you said this might have been the best playoff game of Jason Tatum Celtics career quite a statement why do you think so well and definitely in this postseason because he did it all we already know what Jason Tatum could do offensively for us being able to get Buckets when Jason Tatum is engaged he plays with power and he plays with Force I thought he did a great job tonight on the offense of being mixing it up attacking downhill and mixing up his three-point shots on top of that he was a beast on the glass tonight having double figure rebounds I thought his defense was excellent and also his playmaking he had eight assists tonight he was looking to attack and create for himself and create for others a lot of those assists went to Al Horford that’s why Al Horford was able to knock down seven huge three-point Shots tonight no doubt Championship experience there for Horford as well quickly on the other side if you’re the Pacers in the second quarter you’re up 18 in the third quarter you’re up 18 you don’t have Halle Burt looks like you’re going to I’m looking at your face right now what does Rick Carlile do here on the off day with now their season on the line Monday well I mean it’s not much you could say zoo to be honest with you and a lot of blame goes on Rick call out right he and he took some blame in game one and he definitely should take some blame for this game three I mean I thought he should have called the timeout you know especially when you’re without your head of the snake and Tyrese halberton doing that possession that’s why nimart got that turnover obviously you want to give Drew holiday a lot of credit but to be honest with you Rick Carly blew two of these games you know you got to coach through these games these players the Indiana Pacers they came out they competed at the highest level tonight you got the best out of a lot of role players that we probably won’t see in the rest of this postseason and at the end of the day you’re at home you got to secure that win especially being up double figures yeah this is actually the first loss at home for the Pacers the entire postseason into perks point game one they’re going to be thinking about having won that game lost that one could have won this one lost this one let’s talk a little bit more about Horford the Wy veteran Kevin mentioned it 17 years in the league seven trays tonight what did you make of his performance down the stretch particularly well I mean you know what Al Horford is the true definition of being a star in your role right he’s never trying to go outside his body he know what his his role is on this team and he has what he’s done is he’s made himself a stretch big we we’ve had a lot of concern wondering what this Celtic team will look like without without Kristof porzingis Al Horford said everybody keep a cool booty I got y’all and he came up huge on the road and it’s another thing for him it’s one thing for him to knock down those three-point shots but it’s another thing the way that his teammates believe and trust in him to knock down those shots and the EXT minutes that he’s playing at this age but to be out there being great shap hey man he’s been a hidden like you know a hidden gy for this Celtic ball Club all season long all postseason long yeah we started our conversation with holiday we ended it with Horford but I think the thing I’m catching with both guys is there’s some intangibles that you just can’t see in the box score with the effect that do2 gentlemen have the Celtics will try to advance to the NBA finals sweep the Pacers game four will be on Monday P up [Music] [Applause]

  1. Tatum has had better games in the playoffs, but that finals performance just made him a leper or something, so people forgot the positive moments. He can flip the narrative if he and boston just get it done this time.

  2. Cheating No good refs . . especially this same old ref with the Bad calls at the end of the game. . No good BA.MF.. Now we know they cheating for Boston period . . But we also know them BA.MF. ain't winning No championship 👎
