NBA Lottery Mock Draft 2.0!! San Antonio Spurs Future Dynasty??

ladies and gentlemen boys and girls welcome back to the channel today we are back for another NBA mock draft and we’re going to get right into this one this is the second uh mock draft since the lottery I’ve started going through and doing my final scouting evaluations we’ve only got through about six people for the final one but we do have the field roughly scouted a little bit um so we’ll go ahead and get into this one and with the first pick we have the Atlanta Hawks on the clock this one I mean it’s kind of simple Reay is my number one overall Prospect I’ve got him graded like 10 points higher than Alex sawar um and usually you say you don’t pick here based off of need but I think that in the long run could SAR be better than Ray for sure and it’s not like Ray is some Sure Fire number one overall pick so I don’t think you can go either way here or I don’t think you can go wrong either way although I definitely prefer Reay if I’m the Hawks here and I’m trying to move over from click capella I wouldn’t hate the Alex SAR pick at all you’re trying to hit a little bit of a reset rebuild with like um jayen Johnson the young guys on this team Jaylen Johnson would be Alex SAR and whoever else you keep around maybe maybe Trey young if you do if not you can move on from him but I think alexar is the pick here 7 foot1 220 from France for the Atlanta Hawks now at number two we have the Washington Wizards and this is the team that I think is going to hit the reset button uh once again well they don’t really have much to reset but they’re going to try to start over again I mean they got kozma they got p and they’re going to add Zachary Reese to this I think tus Jones is gone I don’t think they can pay him enough money to stay around I don’t think they want to pay him enough money to stay around it doesn’t really make sense um so I think Washington goes with re here best prospect on the board in my opinion 6’1 and can shoot it just dropped like 30 the other day in one of the playoff games in the French league give me Reet at two to the wizards they reset their franchise now the rockets at three this is an interesting pick because if I go connect at three y’all will crucify me but if I went re Shepard at three maybe you wouldn’t hate me so much uh I have connect as a very highly graded Prospect haven’t got to the final evaluation of Reed Shepard yet but all you need to know is he shoots a 52% from three and I’m sure Rockets fans will love him from day one doesn’t bring the best defense but is a little bit you know sneaky better than you might think based off the look at of him uh better than his uh DNA might suggest if you will so we’ll go with Reed Shepard here and 6’3 like I said at the NBA level probably I mean he’s a great defender in college NBA level I don’t know if he has the length and athletism to ever be a great NBA Defender but then again he set the vertical record at the or not the record but he was had the highest vertical at the combine one of them and you know good side to side Defender really can contest well uh and oh yeah by the way 52% from three this one’s kind of crazy but we’re going Reed Shepard at three to the Houston Rockets they need some shooting in a bad way and they get it with Shephard and really an all-around type guy now at four we we have the San Antonio Spurs on the clock and I’m going to have them go out and get the SEC sixthman of the Year Rob Dillingham great score great passer Shifty guard Rob is so Shifty man um I think he’s going to fit right in with Victor wanyama obviously I think you’ll need to work on his passing a little bit but four assists per game in just 23 minutes at the college level not bad at all per 40 that’s like seven assists a game so an underrated passer and he scored 15 points a game in just 23 minutes give me Rob Dillingham all day long uh like I said he’s going to have to understand the number one option on this offense is wimy something that the rest of the Spurs don’t understand but I think once you get that into his head he’s going to be great in San Antonio and if you won’t you have the opportunity to double down on point guard and get Topic at eight now at five we have the Detroit Pistons on the board and I think this is where Cody Williams goes um this is a guy that longterm could be a great Wing 6’8 100 only 180 lbs we’re coming into the season 180 lbs he AAG about 12 points and three boards this year at Colorado as a young freshman I think this guy has a lot of potential he’s got an NBA build NBA archetype kind of like what we saw with Brandon Miller last year and I think he goes at five to the Pistons exactly what they need is an offensive Wing give me Cody Williams to the Pistons now at six we have my Charlotte Hornets and this is who I want so desperately in real life is Dalton connect a guy that can just shoot the ball I mean we got lamelo he’s cool we don’t really have a two guard for next year I mean I guess you could shift Trey man over there if you want but we got Miller and miles in the front Court um Grant Williams coming off the bench Cody Martin could come off the bench maybe we sign a backup wing and then you got Mark Williams Nick Richards I mean I could see Donovan kinging going here uh as a you know Mark Williams 2.0 but we’re going with a really good shooter and that is dton connect and by the way he’s 66 with a great vertical leap people are hating on him for his Athletics and his defense he’s got a great vertical leap and you know he’s got a plus body a 66 200 you know bulky build I like dton connect at six at seven we have the Portland Trailblazers and this one is going to be Ron Holland this Ron Holland is giving me so many flashbacks to Jonathan kuminga and you don’t have to listen to Why Warriors had seven and 14 when they drafted kuminga Blazers have seven and 14 when they drafted Holland Holland a very unpolished Prospect but has shown signs of being able to operate in the mid post section with his back to the basket you know being able to rip through and drive freakish athlete extremely fast and I think a guy that if he can be properly developed can turn into a really really good Wing one day however right now he does not look very good uh he is definitely a project pick longterm I mean he averaged like 19 and a half for the G League ignite and probably eight of those per game were free throws not a very good not very efficient I should say he’s got a great build though great measurables for the defensive side of the ball at the next level so I think think Ron Holland if developed correctly could be a home run pick here for the Blazers and kind of take the career trajectory path that we have seen Jonathan kuminga take all right we’re back on the clock here with the Spurs at 8 via Toronto and the pick I’m really liking I mean they could like I said double down and go with topic but I like them here getting the best shooter on the board to be able to space for Victor reama and that is going to be Jared McCain um the three best Shooters in this draft going in the top eight kind you know I I I like for me if I was an NBA gym I would take you know I get Rob Dillingham who I think could turn into be a great star in the NBA and then you pick up Jared McCain who is a shire gonna be you know he’s Grayson Allen Plus at the next level or Luke Canard plus giving him a little bit of a Duke comp here great shooter plays off two feet above average Defender can rebound well I like Jared McCain here at 8 to the Spurs to be able to provide spacing around wanyama and Rob Dillingham now at 9: we have the Memphis G and I think in this scenario they go with Donovan kingan um they can move jiren Jackson back to the four you know they got GG Jackson 2 they can even move him to the three maybe we’ll see what happens there but I like Donovan kingan to end his slide here 7 foot2 I see him as this year’s version and the Caucasian version of Derek Lively the second 13 points s and a half boards two National Championships in college now we have the jazz on the clock and I think this is where we have um Stefan C actually yeah this is where we’re going to have Stefan Castle go um really nice Prospect here he’s going to play point guard at the next level 6’6 11 points and five rebounds a game he just needs to develop a jump shot great defender great slasher just needs to develop a jump shot and he will be a really really good rookie so Stefan Castle here to the Jazz with the number 10 overall pick now at 11 we have the Chicago Bulls and this is where this is where we’ll have jacobe Walter go um nice Prospect can really shoot the ball out of Baylor G great at creating his own shot struggled a little bit in the tournament but I kind of see his College Plan you know play out kind of similar to what Brandon Miller did where Big Time freshman season in a power five conference and then kind of falls off a cliff in the tournament but you know uh not saying they’re the same player he’s about three inches shorter than Brandon Miller as well without the gun allegations so I’ll take jacobe Walter here at 11: to the Chicago Bulls now at 12 we have the Oklahoma City Thunder who they get the luxury of being able to take the best player available and I think this is a place where you can get interesting with it and take a jacobe Walter or not and take a Nia topic um if you want to you can trade back into this first round later pick up aaran Shannon Kevin mcculler Antonio Reed is a guy that can help you win right now or you know you could trade back from this pick which I could see them doing maybe picking up a couple of later first round picks to get win now type guys I mean Ryan Dunn Jaylen Bridges Johnny Fury uh Sal guys like that the Silva are all down here on the board but later in the first round but I have him staying put here and taking Nicola toic as the best player available by far now we have the Kings on the clock and I think they go out and get like a Devin Carter type guy they can come in right away can play defense can score he averaged 20 and8 last year at 20 and N last year at Providence give me him all day long to come in and be an instant impact player on this king’s team now with the final pick of the lottery we have the Portland Trailblazers who are going to double down on their wing spot that’s really what they need they have a lot of guards couple of posts but they need some wings and this is where Matas buellis ends his slide from Portland um a lot of potential here not a very polished Prospect yet but I think you know given like Ron Holland if you can develop these guys they’ve been teammates for G League ignite if you can develop them together I think they will turn out to be pretty solid NBA players with that being said that’s going to be it for today’s mock draft Leon thoughts on this draft down in the comment section below obviously not the best class in the world but this is what I have uh for these prospects and with that being said thanks so much for watching today’s video

This video looks at the 2024 nba draft and gives my predictions where the top prospects go such as Alex Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher and why Rob Dillingham and Victor Wembenyama would be an elite duo

  1. Sorry but the last thing the Spurs need is another short PG who doesn’t play defense. I say a hard “no” to Dilly. Its seems that all of the mock drafts have been giving the Spurs the shaft!

  2. Dalton Knecht at the 2 for the Hornets? Hmm Me personally would rather go with Ron Holland but I’ll start watching the tape I have trust in NSJ but can understand some people not wanting to pair Melo with a 6’2 Guard
