I’m SOLD On Ron Holland!
this making me second guess a lot I’m second guessing a lot okay I really thought about this over the course of the last few weeks and uh I got I got to admit something I want some nasty are we having fun yet you know usually when we go over these things you know we go over players or who the Spurs could potentially get I uh I start off with the stats I give you my pros and cons and then we just come to a conclusion and guys I’m this is just glaze I I don’t I don’t know I don’t know what to say I I really don’t know what to say uh The more I’ve thought about it the more I’ve watch uh film The more I’ve thought about how uh Ron Holland could fit with the Spurs the more I’m just completely sold on it okay I am absolutely completely sold on it now don’t get me wrong I still love Bellas okay and if the Spurs were to get buellis I’ll be ecstatic I love his basketball IQ I love how he can get to his spots and you know he’s a really good help Defender right he he’s he’s he’s definitely good a backup there um but Holland I I if Holland’s available at four I don’t see you not grabbing them I I I I I just don’t see you not grabbing them I’m thinking about how we’re constructed and I’m looking at you know teams like the the Minnesota Tim Minnesota Timberwolves and how suffocating they can be defensively and I don’t even think they touch what the Spurs could be defensively uh you already have Jeremy soan who is an excellent Defender you can say what you want but you know analytics will disagree with you um you we already have Deon fael who’s a slightly above average uh Defender as as as a uh as a shooting guard uh we we have Trey Jones who’s a pretty good Defender and we have arguably could be potentially the greatest Defender the league has ever seen at Center adding this type of player to the Spurs would be devastating for any team there there’s if the Spurs can get a point guard and then you have somebody like Ron Holland you’re getting a lot of easy points okay not only you’re getting easy lobs when it comes to Victor one banama but because Ron Holland’s defense is so static and it’s so it it’s just so in your face and he’s so good in transition um off of defensive blocks off of defensive steals off of defensive rebounds you’re going to get so many easy points it it’s going to be it’s going to be very congested it’s going to be really difficult for any team to do anything so what’s most important here and you guys heard this before so this like I said this is more so me just you know Coming to Terms uh uh coming to turn about about some things okay uh so you guys already know that he is known for his defense um I would argue that possibly potentially in this in this draft he’s the best defender uh definitely the best defensive Wing but when I just think about his versatility and how he can guard multiple uh positions and we already have a guy starting that can guard multiple positions we actually have two guys starting uh that can guard multiple positions the switches are going to be absolutely insane and you know while I love Dillingham and I’m still I’m still on board with the Spurs grabbing Dillingham the one thing that does worry me is the motor defensively and with Ron Holland that’s something that you would not have to worry about at all this dude is on every single play of the game he is engaged now is he the best playmaker no I don’t think that he’s a better playmaker than buellis you know personally but I do think that you know he’s worked on his game quite a bit in that regard and you know even as far as him being a Creator um and and three-point shooter he’s not that great at that I think he averaged like I think it’s like 27% uh from three so that’s not wonderful uh but he’s definitely worked on it and you could see you know over the process or the the progress of of that season uh in the g- league that he’s just gotten better and better and adding on to his game also one thing that’s always promising uh when it comes to players in their shooting is is looking at their form right um that’s why I’m not totally sold on topic I think that his form uh it’s I just don’t believe in it but someone like Stefon Castle I see him shooting and it’s like okay you know that’s a pretty decent form and uh you know it’s and I know it’s like all his percentage sucks but you it’s something you can work on right and I’m sorry if you can work on Jeremy sohan’s form which was pretty broken um I’m pretty sure you can work on you know These Guys these guys in their shooting when their form is is significantly better so I that’s all I really have to say man um there’s nothing I can really say that you don’t already know uh he’s a great slasher extremely athletic very talented in that regard defense he is a Hound he’s all over you it’s very difficult to score on him difficult to dribble on him uh he can be a lock down defender in the NBA um I I don’t know what else to say there there’s nothing else to really really say um I don’t know I I I guess we can I mean for the heck of it let’s just look up uh we just do pros and cons and call it a day I don’t know I I’m sold on them I’m sold on them um let’s see all right so Ron Holland all right Pros good scorer off the dribble excels at scoring an off ball motion plays adequate playmaker for his size uh good rebounder for his size solid Defender that can rack up steals gifted athlete very good motor yes yes especially gifted athlete yes um I mean his transition is kind of ridiculous transitional game needs to improve his shooting can be reluctant to take outside shots uh actually I think that he’s pretty versatile in that regard too like he’s willing to take um shots and try new things it’s just you know he’s he got to improve his shooting can play spotty shot selection not an elite ball handler can tend to force the issue too much on offense he definitely used his uh physicality quite a bit he’s nowhere near as strong as he’s going to be can be undisciplined defensively uh he probably just takes a little bit more chances because of um how how much uh uh energy he brings and in his size on defense so U but it says Ron Holland is a very athletic energetic Swingman has a strong set of allaround skills he thrives it driving to the hoop to score the basketball and he is ALS he he also is a solid ball mover on offense uh Holland also defends very well and he has a strong physical tools combined with an aggressive uh disposition and a high basketball IQ that can enable him to be a terrific Defender he’s not a very good shooter right now but he has time to work and improve on his jump shot Holland has had his ups and downs this year in the g- leaking Knight but he has a very talented prospect that can end up being top five pick in the 2024 draft I I just I just don’t really see a reality in which you don’t take Ron Holland it for if he’s available um and this is coming from somebody who’s huge on buellis loves buellis but I I don’t necessarily see you taking buellis over Holland but you know we’ll see we’ll wait and see what happens um but I would definitely keep a hold of that fourth pick if Holland’s going to be available uh cuz this man this this man is is incredible I can’t I can’t even front guys he he’s pretty dog on good uh so yeah get check him out if you haven’t I know you already The only issue I have with Ron holland is that if we take castle 4th assuming Risacher isn’t on the board at 4, I like Ron but damn a lineup of Steph Ron and Sochan is gonna lead to another year of tanking

We need shooting, SHOOTING. Stop drafting the same archetype of players with potential that cannot shoot (Wesley, Branham, Sochan, …). You can't win shit in the NBA with players that can't shoot. We already have Sochan as a liability in that department.
I forgot the metric but I heard that his shooting numbers suggested that he won’t ever be a good shooter based off other players that had comparable numbers

I really like Ron Holland. Of course I'm 100% sold on Topic but I'd be more than happy with Dillingham, Holland, Castle, Eddy and Salaun
i think what a lot of people forget is that they fixed/are fixing sochan’s jumpshot without chip engelland. while it would’ve been better to do it with chip, they still managed to turn a trash shooter, into a guy who can make 1-2 three’s a night on decent splits.
they also managed to turn tre jones into less of a reluctant shooter as well

That's what i been saying…if we Get Castle at 4 and Holland at 8..just on the defensive of side it going to be a nightmare to score on us…even though i also would love Toppin or Dillingham at 4th..but that would be something to consider

Everyone seems to agree that Topic is the best play maker/passer, so there's nothing to think about.
We have so many people we can get, the only person i need is Rob Dillingham, HE. IS. A. MUST. on this team. i love ron holland at the moment hes one of the few people for the 3 the can Match perfectly for us sign wise aswell as with play. we have an entire starting lineup of Earth signs, which is crazy, the only person who doesnt fit is our 3 (julian champanie) I use signs as comparisons, because god they work so well, almost every team ive seen that has perfect synergy that way is goated, and looking at the spurs, Ron H is A Cancer, Stephon C is a Scorpio. Matas is libra, Rob has the exact same birthday as VICTOR. Reed was a cancer and we all saw how reed played, imagine a 6'8 reed (Ron) without the shot that we can mold into having an good-great shot? Rob is the only point guard that i can see elevating this team to GOD status because of his offensive potential. if we get Stephon AND Ron our shooting will become a MAJOR problem and it will barely get better with free agency, I like Enrique Freeman as one of our late 2nd round picks he is good aswell, think of him as salaun with less potential that's already developed. But like I said Robert Dillingham is a MUST on this team so we can thrive in all ways, He opens up EVERYTHING for us to become the monsters we should be, and i definitely don't see us getting Nolan Traore next year. even if we took 2 non-shooters like Stephon and Ron because Wemby will be JUST THAT GOOD.
I think his potential is a Derrick Jones Jr type of guy. Nice Dunks, can be a good defender one day, ugly shooter. I'm not a fan of him. We need shooting so bad!
I want Risacher. He has great potential as a shooter and on defense.
I watched another video that said he played PG out of his natural position for Ignite and that he was forcing a lot of his playmaking and his shots. Still he put up similar numbers to Jalen Green and Scoot in the previous years.

At #4 it's either RON HOLLAND or MATAS BUZELIS & what about #8 🤔its tough…But ur right about Ron Holland he can't shoot but didn't they said that about Kawhi Leonard when da SPURS traded for him 2011 #15 pick dat he couldn't shoot & what happen CHIP ENGELLAND came in & fix his shooting mechanics miss dat guy he could've fix Jeremy Sochan shot if he was in San Antonio🤷🏻♂️oh well wish him da best. The Spurs need to improve in so many areas, offensively and defensively. Watching the Playoffs, the perimeter shooting seems to be prevailing against the best defended eg. Wolves. It's a tradeoff between a good defender like Holland and Castle or a shooter in Knecht.

Yes sir Clan. I would say put him on the bench to replace Kledon and if Devin doesnt work out unfortunately due to injuries. He is 6,7 without shoes and has better potential than Keldon and Vassel combined.
I hope the Spurs take Buzelis at 4 and then Holland at 8 and these people in the comments havent seen either play in person so they need to be quiet believe it or not that makes A hell of A difference over watching on A TV screen but we will see come draft day
Watching these playoffs we need some defensive minded wings to throw at Luka, Ant Man, Murray, Tatum and you have Wemby on the back end. So Castle and Holland would be 2 good solid athletic wings to add also Zaccharie and Dilly for the offensive punch. Any combination of the 4.
