now the idea of Brandon Ingram going to Detroit blows my mind but it is I mean it makes sense it makes sense if you guys haven’t been following so Treyon langon the new president of basketball operations is basically a reason why you should keep this Brandon Ingram information closely not only can they offer him a Max Level extension with their cast space but he’s also sharing the same agent as Kade Cunningham they could build an offer around the fifth overall pick and offer some young pieces as the Pelicans are going to have to let some players uh you know they’re going to have to decide which players they’re going to extend and if they you know nanji Marshall and maybe Jose alvado leave maybe they could get some of those young guys still on rookie deals that they don’t have to worry to pay for two three seasons now because they’re building around Zion Williamson so to me that makes sense and I I’ve been a fan of what they’ve tried to do here so for me I think the the biggest thing is looking at the team that they have which it’s not a bad team but they don’t have a legitimate guy that they can put next to K Cunningham and that’s where Tre Johan langden and his Pelicans connection is going to come in so if we sit down right here and we just try to pull together a trade for the shits and gigs of that’s I think the the biggest thing is is you’re looking at Brandon Ingram is making $36 million all right and who else could they want in a deal they might ask for Matt Ryan or EJ little maybe Jeremiah Robinson or Jordan Hawkins in that deal if they were to build a package around the package that I think is the fifth pick easily fifth pick and then you would probably Evan fornier a salary filler you toss in Shake Milton a vet that they probably want Troy Brown another vet right there that’s you got 28 million sending over there already and maybe they ask for do you think you throw in Quinn Grimes as a sweetener or you throw in Marcus Sasser I think you throw in Quinn Grimes as a sweetener because you’re GNA have to pay Quinn Grimes and I don’t think you should pay pck Quin Grimes so you do Quin Grimes m fornier Shake Milton Troy brown right there that’s about $33 million you just ask for Brandon Ingram in Return Man you asked for Brandon Ingram and More in return at that point cuz I want Brandon Ingram EJ little and Matt Ryan in that deal maybe even throw me Jeremiah Robinson Earl and I’d be cool but I want to hear your guys’s thoughts do you guys think that’s worth it if you’re a a fan of the Pelicans or the I guess it would be the Pistons but yeah that that’s my thoughts I hope you guys did enjoy

With the Pistons’ hire of Trajan Langdon as President of Basketball Operations, Brandon Ingram is a potential trade target to closely monitor.

Not only can Detroit offer Ingram a max-level extension with their cap space, but he also shares the same agent as Cade Cunningham: Jeff Schwartz.

Detroit could build an appealing offer potentially around their No. 5 overall pick and some of their young core pieces.
