I think Dwight was solid last night. He didn’t make mistakes and his defense was ok. He’s not Lively and he won’t be able to score with Gobert in the paint, but he’s an experienced center that knows what to do.
I don’t think there are many better 3rd centers in the league.

I think being up 3-0 helps to allow us to rest Lively. No team has ever come back from down 3-0 and I think Dwight can step up to win one more game

For an emergency center we could certainly do a lot worse than Powell. He’s about as good as you’re gonna get for a 3rd string C in our system.

Yeah like I think people have gone a little too far on Powell. Like we understand that it’s not great to have to use him in the playoffs, but he’s still a competent nba player. He’s a big body at the very least and hopefully he should be feeling fresh. He obviously doesn’t sniff Maxi or Lively, but I’d rather have him than not. Best of luck tomorrow big fella.

Powell is a fine 3rd option, if he can get his chemistry with the guards back he’s still a serviceable lob threat/ roll man. If he can soak up 15 minutes and give Gaff some rest we’ll be alright. Mavs went small for a while last night at it wasn’t awful.
I wouldn’t absolutely hate seeing Greg Brown III for 3-5 minutes, might as well throw him into the fire for a few possessions just to see what shakes.
