Stephen A Smith Bob Myers Michael wilbon they call him the point God Chris Paul I don’t know Stephen A I did not see the Dallas Mavericks taking a 3 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves obviously the Boston Celtics up 3-0 on the Indiana Pacers as well but which is more impressive to you well listen I definitely think it’s Dallas nobody alive saw them being up three to Minnesota a lot of people some people picked them to win the series some people like me picked them to lose the dag on series I didn’t know look looking like this but nobody saw him up three nothing but this is about the greatness of har Irving and LCA donic because when you look at the way they’ve been balling particularly in clutch time J toos that to what the stars have done for Minnesota 0 for five in clutch time from the field last uh you know in game three they’ve just got they they Minnesota looks defeated and it the games have been tough or whatever but that was such a deflating loss because they live on their defense and they cannot stop Kyrie Urban and luuka dun yeah I mean clearly more impressive right 5c nobody thought you’re right I agree with you nobody thought nobody thought but I don’t obviously you picked Dallas I mean you P Minnesota right okay just make that make sure we just like you piip over that like you picked last I shouldn’t even try it should I I shouldn’t try look um Celtics are the one seed they’re supposed to be here they’re supposed to be I don’t know about up three 0 Indiana’s given them a great series but nobody was surprised that the Celtics go to the finals and if they win this series uh although Indiana has given them I think a better series than many people thought even with Halbert out yeah but but look the the path that the Mavericks have had to go through Oklahoma City was a great challenge that was a great great team um and now this Minnesota team has given them everything they can handle and the difference has been in the last two minutes it’s been the difference the Clippers was a tough challenge for for Dallas even without Kawai right and so if you ask most players they probably wouldn’t be surprised that Dallas is where they are right especially when you got two players like Luca and Kyrie I think it’s very interesting though because as a team if you ask Dallas team before the season or before the playoffs would they be here they might be unsure right of course everybody’s going to say they’re going to win but when you start winning games the way that they’re winning games you start to believe just a little bit more and I know that every last person in their locker room right now believes they can win a championship Chris even though I remember talking to you about this midseason and you thought Dallas was getting and going to be good that trade they made the tra especially as a trade we talked in yep but their sort of lack of commitment to defense until the allstar break and Kyrie told Le and I talked to him the other night on camera he talked about knowing that offense alone wasn’t going to sustain them at the championship correct could you see this as an opponent as a guy in the Western Conference who’s playing against him could you see that and what did you make of Dallas doing that you could see it because it comes down to leadership and they have Defenders right they have Defenders and Kyrie is taking that responsibility and all that but I told y’all when they made that trade brought in PJ Washington they brought in Gafford who is uh a guard dream just cuz he just screens and he rolls hard and he plays hard that that was going to change their team and you know how rare it is for a team to make a trade mid-season and to get all the way to the finals with it it never h i mean you talk about the history of the NBA usually you have to have your team in Camp together to go to the finals but to make a trade like that to get Gaff for PJ Washington and to have it go as well as it did and for those guys to fill in the way they have it’s a tremendous credit to that whole front office nicoo Harrison his whole group and Jason kid as well I mean the integration of this entire group together has been impressive not necessarily something that we saw coming [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
