I emptied mine, same thing I always do with bottles and cans. Don’t want the extra weight to cause more damage if it fell. More so with cans.
Use a coin on top of the bottle cap and gently work it open all around with a bottle opener to preserve the cap from getting marked and dented from the other end of the bottle opener. That way you can empty it and put the cap back on so it looks sealed.
