now it’s said in stone this is Daryl Mor’s number one option doesn’t matter what you think about it I know people keep hitting me up all we should do is trade for Caruso and Andre Drummond and fill out the roster it doesn’t none of that matters none of that matters what matters is what is darl m going to do he’s in charge not you not me not us we could talk about what we think they should do what are they going to do we need to prepare ourselves mentally for what they are going to do number one option on Daryl Mor’s list is Paul George and I think he’s going to do whatever it takes to try to get him whether you think that’s a winning formula or not uh it is what it is I do agree Paul George is the perfect fit alongside Joel and be and Tyrese maxi and healthy um we can look at it like this look at the Eastern Conference right now the Boston Celtics are walking to the NBA finals the Boston Celtics are playing the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals think about that for a second it’s the [ __ ] Pacers man and I’m not saying they weren’t good but they’re not Eastern Conference Finals good and the Sixers were how close to being in that same situation if they if they surviv the New York series The the Sixers beat the Pacers with the roster they currently have I honestly think that so if you just replace your third option Tobias Harris with 35-year-old Paul George and he stays healthy you’ll probably beat the Knicks and you probably beat the Pacers and you’re probably in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics putting up more of a fight than the Indiana Pacers are right now of course as with anything in the Joel beid era Health pending you know it it’s always going to be an if when you’re when you’re when you’re rooting for the Sixers in the Joel and be era but you it’s just how you have to do it like I said you can’t be like I’m not going to cross the street today cuz what if I get hit by a bus you might get hit by a bus but you’re still going to try to cross the street right every year you got to just say we’re putting a team together and if they’re healthy they will be in the Eastern Conference Finals if the odds are on betting sites of the Sixers being healthy versus hurt you better bet on them being hurt if you want to win some money cuz the history tells us all the injuries are going to happen to the Sixers but just maybe you get one of the rarest Joel embiid healthy playoff runs in his career and Paul George is healthy also and you get two really good Paul George third option level years out of that deal I’m just telling you it’s not as bad as people are making it sound at the end of the day the ultimate reason the Sixers fell short in game six is because Tobias Harris and Kyle Lowry gave you zero points your third option you were relying on was Kelly UB I mean let’s be serious so I’m just saying it’s not as bad as people make it sound I’m not totally against it am I going to cringe at that amount of money for a 35y old player yes but does it give you a better chance to get out of the situation that you couldn’t get out of this past season yes essentially what are the options and what can the Sixers do to try to be better than they were last year that’s all we can do we can look at money we can look at draft picks we can look at whatever Daryl Mor is going to say what can I do to finally get this team out of the second round this up coming season he’s going to have a very shortsighted approach I don’t want him to trade that unprotected Clippers pick unless it’s for somebody else who I’m going to talk about later in this episode but there’s my take on the the initial uh Paul George may be available because it seems like the Clippers are unwilling to give him 152 uh $212 million fouryear Max they want him to sign the same the same kind of uh extension that Kawhi Leonard signed and if if you’re just looking at look if the Clippers are messing around what other teams are going to take a swing at it it’s going to be darl M I’m just putting that out there that’s that’s just something that is going to be on the table for Paul George and maybe he takes it maybe he I don’t even look at it like that”having 3 stars” PG fits along right with Embiid and Maxey. It’s a solid pairing. But I’m more focused on what’s built around them.
IF, and i say this knowing that if gramma had 2 wheels she'd be a bicycle, but IF the Sixers were really in win now mode, and they decided to trash the apron, we could compete even with Jo eventually being hobbled. spend on PG, pay Monk, sign Valenciunas to backup Joel, sign Oubre, Batum, Cam, and trade the farm for Mikal. all in.

There is a very slim chance PG comes to Philly. The Clippers have no cap space. If they let him walk, they can't replace him. Also, PG has to opt out, he's not a free agent. The Clippers will have first shot. Even so, if PG signs with Philly, the team will be super shallow. You can forget about Oubre coming back, unless he wants to take less money then what he'll get on the open market. Then it will be a bunch of vets, rookies, and G-leaugers (I bet Council is going get a lot of playing time next season, just by default). That team won't win a title. Also, they'll likely be a second apron team. See Phoenix and how they can't make any trades or even have their mid- level due to the rule…
Personally, I think Embiid's window, with the Sixers, has passed…up 3-2 on the Celtics on your home court, can't get it done, it goes back to Boston…injured this season…Orlando's gonna be there, with Banchero and Wagner. Pacers will have another year with Haliburton.
Cleveland depends on Donovan staying. If he stays, that's gonna be another obstacle. If he leaves Cleveland, the Cavs won't be a problem. Their new point guard can't shoot 🙂. The Celts will be the Celts.
I never thought much of the Knicks, they only beat us because Embiid wasn't 100%. BUT if they get Donovan, add them to the threats we face next season 🙂. At this point, just go for it, load it up, and hope you finally do it with Embiid, then it's time to look elsewhere.
I do agree that an ECF should be attainable with George in place of Harris but beyond that I don't believe in them much for obvious reasons.

Whatever old all star is available, the sixers are linked to them. Paul George, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, LeBron James. If I missed any old stars, please list them, the sixers need them asap. The sixers do not want any young player in their prime unless they are, like Tobias Harris, a good guy. In addition, the sixers are willing to give up the 16th pick in the draft for any old broken player, the more damaged the better. Come on DJ, don't do it man, I rather you tell us the sixers are a bunch of frack ups.

The sixers do not have a GM, the job of a GM is to build a team first with the draft and player development and free agency. Daryl only sees draft picks for the most part as trade chips. Note that this has been going on before Daryl came along, look at all those draft picks wasted during the tank years. I said this, and I am going to keep saying it, the sixers are rotten at the top. Sadly for us sixers fans next season, we will be sitting home along with the sixers watching the play-offs. I am finished talking about this backwards sixers NBA franchise for today.
