when he was a rookie that kid does not back down from anything was a Trav they had an eight-point lead then here comes a 124 run by shout out to C priter too man great job with the trades you Big Shot Bob and that is a four game sweep for the Boston Celtics who put them in the finals now yeah got to advance them come on TNT them over they’re yeah they’re in the finals yeah but they can put them in the finals I know I mean I there you go don’t let them bully you they won’t they will hey seriously shout out to Kevin PR and Rick Carlile man hell of a job in Indiana and like I say we don’t know what would have happened if my man Hal Burton had have got hurt or they would have won game one but hey great year by the Pacers hey Chuck you keep saying Dallas front office by the way that’s my man Nico Harrison okay yeah I said yeah ni Harrison okay I’ve known Nico a long time but like can say I ain’t got nothing love for Kyrie and Luca but when they made that trade to get PJ and Gafford and number one I got to give them love for drafting Lively too that’s just a hell of a job traded up to draft Lively by the way okay meantime back to Boston for a second Dennis Scott was working that series talk to Jaylen Brown here with JB the MVP take us through this journey how tough it was in the series um got to give credit to Indiana um I know everybody think that Indiana wasn’t a good team but man they played us better than anybody they played physical they played with pace and they made us work for everything that we got give them credit for the stuff they pulled off at the end of the last two games um they simply made more plays you you swing and miss and they get a three you swing and Miss they get a layup no one wants to get beat four games in a row but there was there was Zero quit we feel comfortable in any type of game and um we feel like we got the answers for anything that the team throws out of us no matter what the scenario is and we just got to find the right ones it’s special right even though we’ve been there before most of us have uh you don’t take it for granted right we were excited uh as a hell of a team we just played U we’re extremely grateful to uh you know move on to the finals we feel like we’re a different team than we were last year and the year before that I know everybody wants to continue to kind of pigeon hold us to what we was happened in the past but we’ve had a different team every single year different coaches and still people want to you know just make it seem like it’s the same it’s the same it’s the same um time is gone by experience has been gained and uh I think we are you know ready to put our best foot forward Celtics now 12-2 this postseason 6 and2 at home 6 and0 on the road and now you got plenty of time time to uh to rest before a week from Thursday have nine nights off without playing how do you stay fresh well it’s going to be a mixture of things you got to get some cardio in because you don’t and and I mean cardio maybe it’s the Versa climb or it’s a bike because you don’t want to run yourself into the ground and you also don’t want to have injuries but then you got to mix in some playing as well because that’s a long time to go off you remember with the longest stretch you had when you’re winning Championship we well we had a couple sweeps in there to get to the finals so there was some breaks like this and that first game you come out in the finals is tough you know then after you you get your first run up and down you get to that first timeout then you’re fine after that yeah I I was blessed to be on a team I think we had seven days off going into the finals and we actually had an inner Squad scrimmage in between uh to kind of keep the momentum but I I didn’t feel I I thought it helped us like I just felt the time off helped us we uh actually came back and that’s when we played Orlando so you know we were were we were happy to have that time off speaking speaking of that team you’ve got a Dallas team tonight trying to be the sixth team seated five or lower to make the finals you’re the only one in that department that uh yeah six seed that won the NBA Championship but again a team J we didn’t have home court advantage at any point in the playoffs and one on the road every series how’ y’all end up at six that year well we had we had uh I I call it survivors uh not remorse but we were too too confident we were fat cats coming in after winning the championship hangover Championship hangover and then all of a sudden Clyde Drexler gets traded in midseason and we start propelling up but uh we were a team that probably would have going to be a a SE to not even and then we came in but we had a confidence that we could win on the road reports are on the Boston side Chuck that porzingis ramping up to be ready for the NBA Finals well he going to have to be there if they going to win this thing against the Mavs cuz I’m telling you the Mavs are going to be very formidable I mean that’s going to be a heck of a series getting CA back is a really big deal uh because you’re not going to guard these guys oneon-one C’s probably the best shooter he betting all the guys B Shooters right now so man that’s going to be a hell of a series um but they going to need porzingis cuz he’s the one guy who gives them size in the post he’s a great defender uh but I’m telling you man that’s going to be a hell of a serious but he’s got to be 100% got to be you know the key for Boston is to I know they got what nine days off is to stay focused confession time we had 10 days off when we played the Rockets Hill gave us four days off d d Scott we was in Miami was in just a you were just a kid back then we was at Magic City and then we tried to come back in scrimmage and then mess around and got so you know you just got to you know stay focused and know say to yourself that the task is not complete sorry about that D Scott snitches get stitch has Boston impressed you to this point Boston has impressed me I was I was on the gram today you know there’s a lot of people showing how easy of a Road Boston at it doesn’t matter they’re there now they got to step up but they better win it cuz if they don’t win it a lot of questions going to be raised no I mean they got to win it certainly seen much tougher roads than a Jimmy Butler lless Miami he and a banged up Cleveland team and now Indiana without tyres Alber everybody’s talking about Kyrie going back to Boston por had a thing here with these Dallas fans as well so got that thing going on also but let’s not count chick before they that’s not kind I chick before Hat type of that’s going to be a different type of hate in boing yes it is I know all about it oh
