I got Dallas and five and here’s why though check this out Luca at home in the playoffs this year is giving you 26 and 11 and8 now listen to that you’ll be like well that’s pretty good right but only 39% shooting but guess what he’s doing on the road 319 and nine 46 from the field 37 from three and they’re six and two that’s the reason I’m saying Dallas will win the game five and move on to the NBA championship and get N5 simply because Luca likes to go on the road and play the villain I mean we all know that they’ll have live Lively back hopefully and I know he’s a big key and we’re not saying that they need him but this is a guy Luca can win you a game by himself and he loves to do it on the road so I’m taking D I mean yeah I’m taking Dallas all right so he won one game on the road against Minnesota and they had Rudy goar trying to they beat him twice already twice yeah but I understand but the one was on the road and Rudy go if I remember if my mind serves me right was the primary defender on the last shot so you’re not going to do that again Luca can do that again no I’m saying I’m saying Minnesota’s not going to make that same mistake I’m not saying they will not make I’m not saying that Luca will not knock a shot down those sort of things look a lot of the pressure in my opinion is on Dallas in this situation as I said yesterday skip if Minnesota goes uh uh to Dallas and they steal that one like they did yesterday today now all of a sudden you go back home you 3-1 it’s gotten so tight in Dallas that they can’t shoot a BB out because if it goes to 3-2 now you really getting ready to say oh my God history is getting ready to happen I agree with that this young man has said he’ll see you in game six I can only go back to history and saying I’ll see you in game six and seven so get ready we going to handle business he’s putting himself out there so that the rest of his team can follow him this is a must it’s like a must-win situation for Dallas you know how it is Paul You Up 3 0 you comfortable then all of a sudden that lead starts to shrink and now it’s 3-1 and it’s 3-2 whether you going home you’re going to Canada you going overse wherever you going to play that six game man you’re scared as hell because Anything could happen at this moment like you say it could be a toe here it could be a blood knee there it could be any of those it could just be a bad shooting night it could be a knee to the back of the neck to a play Anything could happen for a second last night looked like drick Jones Jr had some kind of ankle or something you know he he fell under the basket exact so I’m like uh oh what if and now you know Ant-Man realized he can get downhill he can kick he had nine assists one shot of a triple double and those guys were knocking down the shots as he was giving it to him that’s how he’s able to get the nine assist now if he’s giving giv it to you and you missing that’s a different story but now they feel good in these games that they’ve played in these four games none of them was blowouts they all came down to like two three possession games in the last five or so minutes so you know you close whether it’s at home or on the road I got all the confidence in the world that Minnesota’s going to go to 3-2 and cover this four and a half point spread all the confidence in the world they coming back to Dallas then huh I I believe cold-heartedly they coming back to Dallas okay okay all right seconds before this show started we were listening to Lil Wayne’s opening theme song Oh God and the man across from me oh God Jordan and LeBron debate we should have a Jordan and Anthony Edwards debate anything to get you going I know and you were half kidding but only half kidding just half kidding yeah I hear you I saw him last night make what what thought was a dagger and then Luca did his Miracle shot but but again it felt like a dagger it was 17 feet off the elbow and he went up and it was pretty pretty uncontested but he made it and he’d been missing a lot of shots he made it uncontested skip because originally he was at the three he pumped fake D went by him boom to the Elbow he can do that every time he wants yeah he can okay so to your point here we go we’re back home and the last time we were back home there he’s going up the tunnel in the fourth quarter getting freaking oxygen that they are at sea level I think because it’s the Land of 10,000 lakes we’re not mile high in Denver and I’m like come on kid you you can’t if if you have any remote similarities to Michael Jeffrey Jordan you can’t go up the tunnel in the fourth quarter to get oxygen at Minnesota I I don’t want to hear it I don’t want to see it and I definitely I don’t want to hear anybody give him the tired excuse after the game I’m with you so you owe your team again for that one you you owe because you’re way better than that yeah if are you hyperventilating are you feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders because the kesan Johnson’s out there are saying I’m seeing a little Jordan here I’m seeing young Jordan and I’m saying I’m seeing old Jordan there I’m I’m seeing an old right because you can’t do that and you definitely can’t do that in a game five at home to get you to game six and you don’t think you don’t think he don’t know that skip okay you got to and all honesty he knows that he’s a smart kid he he knows that that’s why he said what he said to Michael Parsons that’s why he said what he said okay yeah he told Mike I’ll come back and give you Mike was we’re going to get into this a little later but but Mike is wearing those AE ones Anthony Edwards ones and I’m like Michael why are you wearing his shoes you he was wearing a Luca Jersey so he’s going 5050 right okay I got it but probably an Adidas guy well M might be an Adidas guy I don’t know we’ll find out but this is an Adidas shoe and Anthony said what’s 14 okay I’ll bring you a new pair back I okay okay we got that person personally remember Anthony was the one after game three who marched right in the locker room and said let’s make history absolutely all right okay he repeats that yeah same uh narrative or whatever you want to use to describe when he said Endeavor yeah he goes out the locker room he tell the attendant sting there I’m going see y’all ass game seven man don’t worry about me right after after game five yeah think about it after game five he said I’mma see you at seven after the loss after a loss yeah that’s all I’m saying so I’m I’m sticking with my original prediction Dallas in six but I’m with Paul the weird part about Luca is he’s way more clutch on the road than he is at home way more he’s a different guy because he lives he lives to feed off the crowd and I’m going to say it again pardon my language but he he yelled at the crowd after he made that shot on go go home and that’s exactly what he thinks all y’all just go home just go home listen man Luka y’all got to understand this Luca’s been in the Pro he’s been playing pro basketball since 16 I I I got it but this kid is wildly talented and I do like what he’s made of I sometimes I think he talks a little too much but he knows his team needs it Anthony he talks a little too much yeah but but what is he saying that’s a little too much though skip what tell tell me what has he said that irks you to the point where you say nothing he every game he’s just talking and talking I’m going let you know what I’m going to do to you if you can’t stop me I’m going Tor your ass you need to write some checks you have to cash every single time that he talks yeah he writes that check and it goes through in fact he wires it he does so to your point I’m going to go with Anthony Edwards tomorrow night at home because they did find themselves they finally played the way they really played all year these These are the games they played against Denver they eliminated the defending champ yes they did it at at Denver in a game seven so they they have to know we’ve got this in US and they got steamrolled by two nuclear weapons who actually blew up last night on Dallas but now go ahead and no go ahead skip finish finish finish finish so they know they’ve got nuclear potential too and I don’t know listen that the big X Factor is still the baby from duke the the the rookie the 10th overall pick it’s it’s Derek Lively and I don’t know whether he’s going to play or not I would give Dallas a lot better chance if he plays but if he doesn’t I I don’t think that the two nuclear weapons can get them home the little bit of X Factor Paul can speak to this a little bit of The X Factor that nobody’s even talking about is the coach was actually up out of his chair moving around this is the first time it’s a big deal it’s a big deal the first time in this series so since he got hurt well I don’t know who the hell he got hurt against but since he got Phoenix yeah since he’s gotten hurt this the first time he was up moving around cuz it felt like they had a substitute t in Char yeah but he now all of a sudden he up well if you’re about to go calling time at the right time you about to go home you better get it do I understand that but the fact that he’s up and moving around now and coaching him I thought that’s always been a key man that’s like okay you know when the call timeouts now you part you not sitting in the second row telling somebody hey man call timeout right now you actually right there in the mix yeah I mean I think that makes a big difference when you have a uh too many voices you know and they trust the assistant coach they trust him it’s a difference when your leader at the helm is not there running up the silent that’s a difference you know then a different voice you I mean you know this ke that’s what I’m saying you know this those little things give you a edge yeah they do when you look to the sideline I see skip bis I Got Confidence you see what I’m saying I’m looking I’m like okay going to call this certain play for me you know those sort of things and that goes a long ways absolutely so they broke the Kyrie spell last night Kyrie was 14-0 in closeout games 14-0 that’s just extraordinary as you know yeah and it has a lot to do with his clutchness and then last night they broke through against him because he he hit some shots but he missed a whole bunch of shots too and he wasn’t Kyrie and they broke that cursor spell or whatever and and that’s a big deal for Minnesota at 140 what was most of that at though Cleveland I was s thinking most of Cleveland has to be Cleveland yeah yeah I was trying to think I like where where was that at say he had deep playoff runs cuz in Boston he didn’t even play in the he play no he didn’t play in the play play in the playoffs so them empty statistics to me that was 15 years ago man okay but he’s still he had a lot to do with that trust me because the Bigg the game the bigger the moment the bigger he has always played until last night and I I showed you that bad late turnover and he just he miss shots that he usually just like Luca is on the road Kyrie’s just the same way just the same way he’s one of he wants to get it done I mean there was no shot bigger than the shot he made in Golden State I mean you know and I just see them getting it done Kyrie knows he’s the exactor when he comes out aggresses and he’s hitting shots and he’s setting the tone that’s when I believe Dallas is at their best so I I expect them to come out with a big game and this series is over I think it is still over because all the pressure really is back on Minnesota really I don’t think I don’t think the pressure is on Dallas it’s you’re going home you know when when those shots not falling because think about it they went to this game pressure it ain’t no real it’s like you down 3 0 you coming into this game loose you know ain’t no pressure we we not expected to win you know we going to lay it all out theight now you got now you got Slither of hope you going to come home you going to feel a little more pressure nah yeah you are you not you’re not feeling nothing I’m playing with house money right now Paul no no I’m good you up 31 I’m playing with house money you get that one win you feel like you can get it back to Dallas but so you going it’s going them shots gonna get a lot tighter when you at home but if all of a sudden you are spooked because you 31 now instead of 40 or 3 0 you in my house I know the last time you was in our house how well we played and we still lost the game we not going to allow that to happen again we’re not letting Rudy go bear on a switch at the end of the game guard LCA we just not going to do that I’m just not confident well they never they never allowed that they that was the first time in 18 of those that that they had switched the the off the pick we’re not doing that again we’re not that something that Chris Finch called in the Huddle he said let’s switch it this we messed that up we’re not doing that again all right yeah I’m just not confident in Minnesota at home they haven’t they haven’t made that place a place to where you’re like we don’t want to go to Minnesota look at this they’ve lost four out of their last five games at home in the playoffs they’re not playing well at home so yeah but the last time they was at home in this situation they got back to Denver the LA if I’m correct right the last time in this situation where we was up here talking about well you know Denver pretty much is back that’s the one they one huge yeah they just steamroll them to get it back to Denver just not playing well at home for me you know you got to establish your home to be a dominant place and that’s a great crowd there in Minnesota like it is it really is and when you don’t play well at home that could be that can get into your head they know that they ain’t played well at home Dallas they know they play well on the road they they’re confident going in there I’m telling you Minnesota Mir image of got it no no no not at all so we talked about the X Factor that is Lively a rookie Energizer who just comes in and he’s long and he’s agile and and he just plays with kid energy that they feed off on both ends of the floor the other huge X Factor for them has been PJ Washington’s catch and shoot threes because against my Oklahoma City Thunder a series that Kyrie called the toughest of my career they closed him out in six atam Oklahoma City because that’s what Luca does right but the the shots were from um PJ Washington he he in that series he went 23 of 49 23 of 49 every time he caught the ball and shot it that’s 47% it was going in okay in this series he’s now six of 27 so so that’s 22% so they have lost their their X Factor where you can kick it to him and he makes one big shot that changes the whole yeah but he’ll be back okay he’ll be back you scared you scared of Minnesota man no I just you really pulling hard for them to lose that’s not that I’m pulling hard I just think the experience and and the knowhow is more so with Dallas you know I can’t I don’t have faith in the other guys on Dallas you know outside of uh Anthony Edwards minesa on Minnesota outside of Anthony Edwards you know car towns has been up and down you know I don’t know which but you think he found this stroke right now he feels good yeah he feel good as he should as he should but he’s been up and down you know and then you know the like I haven’t seen mcdels in about three or four games you know so I just I’m just more confident in the role players on Dallas than I am of the role players on Minnesota but you the same guy that told me and has convinced me mentally that role players play terrible on the road this game is RO they play better at home yes this game is on the road but in Dallas’s case these guys are are road runners they they Clint series on the road this is what they’ve been doing you know so I expect them to go in there in a hostile environment cuz in a hostile environment they’re they’re Luca has a certain calmness about him you know he has a certain Poise that he could hear the crowd roaring and he could calm his team down and get them to execute and then don’t let it be close don’t let it be close if the game is on the line I just got Dallas down the stretch with Kyrie and Luca making big plays then Minnesota has the ability to get the crowd behind them if they don’t blow out Dallas if don’t if it’s a close game it favors Dallas but I don’t feel like it’s go I don’t feel like it’s
