Insider Jake wbach offering I don’t even know J wagw is NBA Insider but and it’s not the L team you thinking of it’s not Minnesota T was actually the Cleveland Cavaliers he didn’t even play for that I know but Wick’s going to the Cavaliers for Jared Allen it is a realistic Pathway to Jared Allen coming to the go to State Warriors wow for Andrew Wiggins that’s all you get for Andrew Wiggins and I does feel a need you get rib protection you get a rim Runner you get a guy who could duck on your head why is Cleveland getting rid of him well they were saying reports were that they were not happy with him missing the series against the um Boston Celtics so we’re taking a guy who missed the series for a guy he said they said basically that we don’t believe his rib agery really kept him out okay for a guy he should have gutted it out that had two absences from the Warriors so we’re trading theirs for this all right I mean I understand you’re going to have a trade where like you’re getting back something that has some flaws the last thing I want to hear is ah he kind of didn’t really want to play well that’s the reports that’s just what they were saying we don’t know how serious that R majury was and we saw speaking of rib injuries we saw Wiggins in that Lakers series in game six of that he couldn’t move that Rim injury was apparently it impacted his offseason workouts because he wasn’t wasn’t able to work out like he wanted to because of the rim injury so Jared Allen real quick I always find it hard to say like so and so should play through it it’s like you don’t know what their pay that’s basically what I’m saying yeah I I don’t like when people do that Jared Allen 26 years old this past season he Aver 16 and a half points 10 rebounds two and a half assist and a block shot per game shot 63% from the floor 74% for the free throw line he’s not a bad free throw shooter so wi gets for Jared Allen what’s his contract look like where’s Jared Allen’s money at what kind of money is he making CU now I’m actually getting intrigued with this move well I’d make the move but you got to do more like and what are the other moves that you’re Mak no doubt you you obviously have to do more that’s not Jared Allen’s not gonna get you from a 10 seed to a championship nobody I don’t think anybody saying that but I have heard a lot of rhetoric about Andrew Wick saiding man maybe just moving them is best for the team Jared Allen has a $20 million cap hit for the 2425 and 2526 season and then he’s a free agent oh so two more so you’re taking one less year than the Wiggins okay I’m in for that you’re in for that right as long as we’re not surrendering picks yeah 20 million this year this upcoming season I mean i’ like more for him but yeah but hey 40 million on his deal as opposed to what 73 Plus on wiggin deal not bad not bad you get bigger now you got a runway for kiga maybe at the three or if you move kiga you go get another three I don’t know but that’s not a bad move not million really quick sorry uh so Wiggins has 26 million next year 28 million the next year and then he has a player option for 26 27 that’s 30 million Hey listen he’s already opted into to that player option that is done all right you think he’s opted out get new money that is done he signed that baby yesterday I’m already in I’m in I love wigs man Jared Allen I’m GNA just I’m gonna be 100% truthful I don’t see how Jared Allen helps you defend against Kyrie and Luca I don’t see how Jared Allen helps you defend against the Denver Nuggets necessarily it definitely helps you you better have a better Defender stopping an Edwards well you have a better Defender at least you got somebody at The Rim where you have to think twice about oh maybe I won’t throw it up I mean maybe I won’t go to the rim he’s a solid player he’s solid I mean he’s solid but what did wigens give you last sure I mean you know what I’m saying yeah but even even on his worst day I could throw him on somebody and at least make a guy work on the perimeter like to me perimeter defense and a legit number two in terms of uh a two guard like they need that guy I I’m I’m with it but maybe they see Jonathan Kamika being that guy okay and he defends the rib I mean JK he went from being a four a small ball five a three and now we’re sliding him to the two no put him about to three okay but he’s going to guard you got yeah you could guard twos you guard threes maybe but that’s just a first move that’s just another Domino but I listen Jared Allen I’m not mad at that if that’s all that’s available I don’t think Warrior fans think that’s even close to enough so we’re not I didn’t say that I don’t think I don’t think we but a lot of Warrior fans want to move off of wicked right yes this is what you want to do but I think we think similar to to to Jordan P I think we value the player as a trade chip higher than what we’re receiving off of last season what the hell do we think we’re going to if you want to trade Andrew Wiggins well this is where you staple first round picks to him do you want to do that well no but if for the right guy Andrew Wiggins last year all right and I just gave you the numbers with have points a game it was 13.2 points a game four and a half rebounds one assist and get this he did shoot 75% for the free throw line he did I think this the best of his career how many games did he play 55 played last year he played 71 games that many played 71 games last wow in my mind he played way less um 75% free throw shooter uh the best seasons he ever had for the free throw line was his first two seasons of The League Monte those are all career like everything else besides free throws is career lows yeah I know all right and like so like he was so bad in those 71 games I thought he played 55 that’s told you the story when I took my m to the Knicks game in late second quarter I was like we at just [Laughter] playing I’m locked I thought I was locked in apparently I wasn’t locked in enough and I’m not trying to rip because Wiggins to your point is a very good Defender I like Andrew wiggin a l I thought he was a good fit with the Warriors but it does when there’s smoke there’s fire right and it feels like in order to open up if you do go that route with kaminga and you’re saying I’m keeping kaminga cuz I do think in a couple years if the if the Warriors CU I know you’re hes on give him a 30 million a year I do believe that 30 million a year for Jonathan kaminga will be a bargain in the next few years I think the guy’s going to be really really good it’s just I I could be wrong there I thought Tre LED was going to be good he wasn’t kiga showed me more than Trey lch ever did Jared Allen 16 to 10 and a half he averages a double double he’s done that basically for the course over the course of his career he’s not a guy who’s going to create his own shot but he’s going to give you 31 minutes a game he played 77 games this season now he has been on and off the court over the course of his career but he played 77 last year he’s got 2 years left he’s 26 years old I’m open to Jared Allen I’m open to a move like that you get bigger you get more athletic and you get a rib protector yeah but that cars off one box okay you don’t like big box is is like who else can generate points on their own in the half court there defend premium Elite perimeter guards all um those are the those are the two top questions like finding a big who could be a piece or whatever it’s great I’m I’m glad like I would like Jared I’m not I’m not even I’m not even mad like I would like Jared Allen but not for w like I want more for Wiggins me and maybe I’m asking to much so wait a minute you can’t ask for more for Wiggins when you want a Wiggins out not you but a lot of Warrior fans think very lowly in Andrew Wiggins like like what do you think you’re GNA get for Andrew Wiggins coming off that season I’m I’m jol be no I’m hoping to get something more staple no no mo staple more to it to get me something back like are we sure Jimmy Butler staying in Miami so You’ rather have you want to are we sure Jimmy like for example want Jimmy Butler on this team here’s what I’m saying like yes I would want Jimmy Butler on this team he’s in lunatic but he’s an awesome player like I think Jimmy Butler would be just what the doctor ordered okay so and he fits the timeline so maybe it’s decided to trade with Clay why would they take Wiggins the the the heat culture would want nothing to do with Andrew Wiggins and that’s why you got to a bunch of stuff to him Jimmy Butler what did he do last year and I like Jimmy buckets I do but they talk about podcast I just need him to play nice for a year and a half that’s I just SE and him you want to see someone who can keep Draymond in check love to see Draymond and Jimmy buckets on the same you think anybody nobody’s keeping Draymond in check now look at Jimmy Butler look at Jimmy Butler this this get rid of Wiggins what y’all want HB back bro we trade y HB straight up for Wiggins I’m good okay y’all want to get rid of him that bad good so Jared Allen is the move bro if that’s the move vonte what is something we discussed that nauseum all last season you need to get more athletic you need some Rim protection you need more size size matters even C is mentioned that you look at the landscape of the league now and how big the like the rim Runners with Derek Livy the second and Tony and Daniel Gafford with Dallas you don’t see Jared Allen doing that with the Warriors yeah but they also have four wait time they have four other guys on the floor who stretch it when you have Draymond it just it makes things a little different but by Jared Allen you’re not this is not the finished product of the roster you’re not going to just say hey wigg is for Island we’re done wash our hands we’re good no no no he’s a piece it’s Dy to get more athletic on Wings nobody’s denying that and you need you need some guys at the point of attack who can defend at a high high level you need your Derek Jes Jr maybe that’s kaminga maybe that’s kaminga you need your Aaron Gordon who could defend at a high level maybe that’s jant kaminga well I look at like closing lineups like how many of The Bigs in the last however many years have closed games with the Warriors it’s not about closing with a Jared Allen yeah but if you have a trade piece in Wiggins who is a closing piece you cannot trade him for someone who’s not a closing piece maybe you use the kaminga as a trade chip if you’re not comfortable giving kaminga 30 million a year maybe both of these guys are gone and maybe you’re trading Wiggins for Jered Allen and you may be getting that other Defender that guy you’re talking about for kaminga or a moody that may be and don’t forget Chris Paul team option what’s going to happen there Klay Thompson what if they don’t agree with the deal agree to a deal with Klay Thompson maybe he’s just signed a trade possibility with the Klay Thompson to maybe get that player there’s a lot of options here it’s not the end all Beall if it’s J
