The Swiss Army Man we should go after this off-season.

Kyle Anderson
Josh Hart
Derrick White

These players have been absolute standouts this season, and in these playoffs they have been instrumental in advancing their respective teams. Who on the market, trade or otherwise, can we go after to fit that bill? What player is laying in the cut that could make this kind of impact on a team? They say a new situation is sometimes all a player needs to really flourish, and I think we can be that situation for them.

  1. Cheap, realistic options? Gordon Hayward may be cooked, but he could also be better than expected like Batum was. He has handles, can shoot & is a great passer. On a minimum deal, he could be a steal, but D would be a problem, although he’s probably as good as Tobi there and certainly shows more effort. Talen Horton Tucker. He works his ass off on D, has handles, but is a terrible shooter. He’ll only be 24 at the start of the season. Dennis Smith Jr. & Kriss Dunn. Absolute savages on D. Great rebounders. Good handles & passing. Can both guard up, but again, shooting is a problem.

I think if we get Paul George, a Kyle Anderson signing should follow shortly after. They complement each other and the rest of the team well. Then you hope Melton sacrifices some money and is healthy to return as the 5th starter

Slo-Mo is a free agent this summer, so hopefully they can entice him away from Minny.

Outside of that guys like DJJ, KCP, Malik Beasley, Royce O’Neale, GP2, Patrick Williams… would be ideal to fill out the roster with. Looking at how much they made this previous season the Sixers might be able to get 2-3 of them in the off season if they do not land a third “star” player on a max.

Players who have no weakness or few weakness always fool ppl. It’s like a “well roundness fallacy”

It makes ppl feel good to have no weakness. When in reality high peaks are what matter.

Throw out Derrick White because there’s zero chance he ever gets moved. He is the ultimate role player. A no stats allstar type. As for Josh hart and Kyle Anderson: both have NEGATIVE EPMs

Are about league average playoff players
