Joe Mazzulla has really liked the Celtics’ playoff run so far: “We played without an expectation, without a sense of entitlement, we just played with the understanding that even thought we’re a good team, we have to be the harder playing team.”

We’ve watched Joe grow up before eyes as a coach. He’s got the respect of his team and he’s. Really got a great understanding of the game.

  2. I really like it too. Just throwing that out there.

The fact that he is willing to say they played without entitlement by extension tells me he knows this is an issue for this team at times. They know they are talented and have to keep that in check to win, or else they let go of the rope. We haven’t seen that though, especially compared to previous years. Joe is the reason. Maturity of Jru and Al also helps.

    I would agree with that.

They also ran a lot of Tatum/White and Brown/White and Tatum/Horford pick and rolls in crunch time instead of all Tatum isos up top… that goes a long way

Felger and Mazz busy wondering if the Celtics are getting outworked though

I sometimes wonder if Joe is just Brad Stevens puppet. There’s no way this 35 year old guy is good enough to be the coach….. Right?
